If I could give this 0 stars I would. Avoid this store at all costs. I tried to sign up for new service, they botched the port and I lost my business line, I took 2 weeks off work and spent over 36+ hours on hold with 9 different departments trying to fix their mistake, they told me "whoopsies were sorry, buy an additional line so that the brand new cell phone you just purchased will work since we messed up the port." I was locked out of all my accounts associated with that phone number, and ultimately lost over $3,000. Just take the time to drive to a real store, you will wait all day just to have everything messed up that they possibly can, then they will tell you since they are not a "real store" they cant fix any of their mess-ups. read more

Terrible Customer Service. I walked in the new store on Laurel Rd. and US 41 in Nokomis this afternoon with my 80-year old mother . She wanted to pay her bill and had never visited the store before. As we walked in there were two sales people with two customer and no one else in the store. They did not greet us or tell us that they'll be with us once they finish with their current customers. They just kept their heads down and pretended we were invisible. After a minute or two, my mother approached one of the sales people and asked if she could just ask a question. Without even lifting his head to look at her he rudely stated, "I'm with a customer". I don't know about anyone else, but that isn't my idea of good customer service - a simply "welcome and we'll be with you soon" might be a good idea for future customers. I told my mother that it was time to leave and visit a corporate store. Oh, I did add that I thought the guys was an idiot for treating her so rudely as well. read more

DO NOT EVER GO IN HERE. THIS IS NOT A VERIZON CORPORATE STORE. Not knowing this, I went into the store the 19th to upgrade my phone. Amber was pretty cool. She explained to me that I could take the black one and come back the next day and swap it out for the red one. So, I went ahead and got the red one that every accessory for it and that was it. She charge me 100 and $160.77. The next day I go in her managers there, no problem swap the black for the red and I'm out of there. Then I find out that I cannot add this phone to my family plan that I have with my family. I asked Apple what the best thing to do would be and they said take the phone back go to Verizon or Apple and buy a phone from us. So, I decided that was what I was going to do. I woke up this morning with the intent to take the phone back and have an easy smooth transaction. Austin is the manager there he is a complete asshole. I told him I wanted to return the phone and the reasons why he seem to be irritated. He then proceeds to tell me the Verizon wireless is never going to deal with me again as I have returned, and bought multiple phones within a three day period! Are you fucking serious? That pissed me off! I said you're going to refund my money and you're gonna take this phone back, it's in your policies, and I have read through every single page. He then decided that he was going to tell me to leave the store I said no I have not done anything wrong and I have not gotten my refund I will not leave the store until you refund my money you have overdrawn my bank account $371,unbeknownst to me at the time they charged me twice because they have hidden fees. He told me if I wasn't going to leave he was going to call call the police. I said go ahead, and I'm not doing anything wrong here. Neither one of the other clerks said a word that just let you know that they're scared of their boss, that's never a good environment to work in. Then, here come for five cops! I thought to myself are you fucking kidding me. Of course they took Austin outside first and he told them whatever he told them then they came in and asked me to come outside, mind you I have my seven and eight-year-old with me. I went out I obliged. They informed me that Austin would not be returning my merchandise today for what reason I was given none. Then, they start to question my eyes. Well I take a medication called colodine and it fogs over my eyes. I think at this point my seven and eight-year-old were like what the hell is wrong with these police officers that they are treating my mother like this I have never disrespected lawn enforcement, and I never intend to but the way that I was treated today for the police is unacceptable. I offered field sobrity test,I offered to blow I offered to touch my nose walk the line nine times back and forth; everything they didn't want me to do any of that they just wanted my friend to come pick me up and not let me drive my car. I could not believe it so she gets there and she's talking to the officer and she tells him that I am on a medication for high blood pressure but he doesn't care they said that I cannot drive my car away from that parking spot again until I had a doctors note stating that I am physically able to drive! I went and rushed in my doctors office panicking. Of course, they wrote the note. I took it back and gave it to the officer. However, the point here is, Russell Cellular IS NOT VERIZON. Poor Amber was taking his lashings left and right, she was untrained, calling him for everything every time. I'm disgusted and Austin, you call yourself a manager....Your employee was as rude as they get, she had no customer service, sales, or training abilities. This was not her fault, this was Russell Cellulars fault, as well as Austin. To Austin.....You're a complete asshole whose ego is way to big since they gave you a mangers spot. You must first mange the store and coach and train your employees to grow your business. Three of the four times I was in there, you were not. You don't know shit from your own ass. If I knew your full name, I'd file a grievance. However, Verizon doesn't even claim Russell Cellular, nor does Apple. You're a fraud, as well as the store. Do not take any of these sales people at their word. We were told that the Good Friday promotion was available for 50% off a Note 8. They also sold me a screen protector that the gal knew wouldn't work as she had the same problem on her phone (she told me when i wanted to return it)...anyway when we started to get our monthly bill it did not reflect 50%. Back to the store and after weeks of put offs and mysteriously they do not have our paperwork, they refuse to stand by the "mistake" Nick made. Go to a REAL Verizon store. read more

We went in to the Russell Cellular store at the Harrisburg Mall to purchase our cell phones on Friday May 4th. The store did not have them so, he promised to overnight them and that they would definitely be there on Saturday the 5th. We stressed we needed these asap as we were heading out of town on Tuesday and wanted our new phones with us. I received the Fed Ex tracking information only to find out that the owner of the store requested 2 day! So, they would not be there until Tuesday!! We got frustrated and drove to the Corporate store which is about an hour or two away. It turned out to be worth it! The owner of the Russell Cellular store said he couldn't cancel the order because he didn't have the EIPI (sp?) number which turned out to be a bold faced lie! The rep at the corporate store called this number up on the computer in less than a minute! Only after being forced by Verizon Customer Service, the owner of the Russell store finally cancelled the order. We received OUTSTANDING service from both the rep(s) at the Corporate store at King Of Prussia PA and the Customer Service Folks. Bottom line is that we walked away from the CORPORATE store with two brand new I Phones in less than 2 hours!!! Warning!! STAY AWAY FROM RUSSELL CELLULAR!! Not only did they lie about the shipping, when I read the detail about the order, they ordered the WRONG PHONES!! Anything to make the sale, even lying to the customer! I have been in the cellphone business for a long time. Car chargers are not reccomended because of the inregulated voltage comong out of your 12v DC port. i was told their chargers are "regulated" this would require a nice sized capacitor. When i challenged the assistant manager of the store with scientific fact he told me i was wrong and changed the subject. Will not buy from or trust again. read more

I visited the Russell-Cellular Cortez, Colorado store on 7/7/18 to check into being added on my husband's existing plan. I walked out with a working phone, but what I found out later made this experience worse that buying a used car. Sales rep stated the plan would be approximately $20-30 per month, but could not give me an exact amount. I said that was too much, that I was paying approximately $10 per month and got up to leave. Manager came over to see if she could help. She reviewed my husband's plan and said that his Monthly Line Access would be reduced from $20 per month to $10 and that the Monthly Line Access would cost $10 for the second line that I would use. I reiterated what she said, that it would not add any cost to the plan to add me except for the activation fee. She said that is correct. The paperwork I received states $20 Monthly Line Access. I called and spoke with the manager. She said call me back in 5 - 10 minutes and I will double check this with my manager. When I called back, I was told, sorry, what she quoted was an old plan or something that is no longer valid. The cost is $20 for the Monthly Line Access and that my husband's Monthly Line Access will not be $10, but will continue to be $20 per month. This is a mistake which could potentially cost me $480. I told the manager I expected her to uphold the original deal that she presented. She told me that their accountant was the one authorized to make the change. She offered to try to reach him, but said he doesn't work on the weekends. When I asked when he would be in she was unsure and said someday next week. The sales rep who put the paperwork together had asked me to sign a small 3x5 inch or so screen. I tried to pick up the screen to read what I was signing. I told the sales rep I could not read what was on the screen. She told me it was just what had been discussed. I signed the screen then found the discrepancies when I looked at the printed paperwork later. I was told by the sales rep that my total for the phone and car charger was $266.04. When I asked why as the phone was $201 plus $29.99 for the car charger, she told me that the taxes for the city and state were really high. I was never told about the $20.00 fee for Setup For Success that I found was added on my bill and still do not know what that charge is for. And this fee is in addition to the $30 Activation Fee. The phone that I purchased in the store, Samsung 337 Galaxy J3V was $201. On the Verizon site, the cost is $168. These business practices are deceptive and fraudulent. On 7/9/18 I returned the phone to cancel the contract. Russell Cellular wanted $35 to restock the phone plus they were not going to refund the $20 Setup For Success fee. I did receive all of my money. Just worried now about what charges will be on my husband's next bill. read more

I would not recommend using this location. They are not a corrprate office and will charge for a $40 fee but make it sound like it's an activation fee for your phone. They also lead to believe that I was approved for a $4,000 credit in store, but it was more like a $4,000 credit line which the customer service rep did not explain until after we were already in process and then would not change it back. They would not refund me the service charge even though they were not able to accomplish what I went into the store for. They will mislead you and not actually tell you the truth until you have paid your money. read more

Russell Cellular in Loveland, Ohio added a new cell phone on MY account for my mother-in-law without my authorization or consent. They changed my pin number and sold my mother-in-law a phone. THIS IS AGAINST VERIZON'S POLICY. The way I found out was a text from Verizon telling me my pin was changed. This situation was not resolved to my satisfaction. read more
