As my Book Club was looking for a coffee shop to get together to do vision boards, I thought of it based off of my daughter's recommendation. She and her friends have come here to study, and the vibe is perfect for it! Welcoming staff, delicious coffee (hot and cold) and juices, rotating bakery items, a cute gift shop/a book store right next door, a prayer wall, and lots of different and comfortable seating arrangements make this coffee shop one that you have to visit. As my boyfriend and I were browsing through their selection we decided to stop to take a picture at a mirror near one of their sections. I don't know if the employee knew how loud she was but we clearly heard her comment, "Every time people pass by that mirror they stop to take a picture. It's stupid. It's dumb." It dampened our moods completely. We didn't get to even finish looking at the front of the store. We put the item we had in our hand back in their place and left. Really saddened about the experience and the fact that we couldn't enjoy the rest of the store as we could see they had lots of variety and the prices seemed reasonable from what we did see. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take before leaving. Update: upon further review a lot of recent reviews seem to be about the same women with the same common factor. She only provides terrible atmosphere and service to people of color.
