In our opinion, the "Deli" needs to be highlighted more for Russo's. As we shared with Sienna and Chloe, we have been in numerous times for their delectable cheesecakes, but we forget to stop in for a meal. I designed my own wrap of turkey, provolone, lettuce, onion, pepperocinis, sunflower seeds, and raspberry vinaigrette; and got it grilled. YUM!!! My love ordered the Chili Dog and devoured it. We almost ordered one of the tasty-sounding soups--creamy Italian or tomato basil. Next time I'll give the soup and salad combo a try. Put Russo's on your lunch list! Okay, this review is for the cheesecakes and cinnamon rolls! Boy, the cheesecake is amazing, and that was the reason we visited. Thanks to other Yelpers who had suggested the Turtle Cheesecake. I usually like a cheesecake with a graham crust, but I guess no crust is NY style? Anyway, it was fantastic, as was Hubby's warm Cinnamon roll. Just oozing with toppings. This cafe does all sorts of other things, and use Boar's Head meat for their sandwiches, so they must be good! But I'd definitely recommend the cheesecake. read more

I had the tuna wrap and ordered it "hot," which meant panini pressed. It was excellent, with nice grill marks on the very fresh wrap. Although we had not ordered soup, we received a sample of the cream of chicken (enough for all four of us to sample), and it too was excellent: not excessive cream, brothy enough for my tastes, and wonderful flavor. Finally, we all got teaspoon samples of two kinds of cheesecake: tiramisu, and their original cheesecake with a raspberry topping. Both were terrific but only one of us had room for dessert at lunchtime, and he ordered his favorite: original cheesecake with cherry topping. All the while, I was enjoying their modern jukebox: a small sound system playing my favorite tunes from the 60's, with a screen announcing each song and artist. Cheesecake is always o good. We went here may daughter had a sandwich and I had some of their Italian sausage soup which I have had before and loved. This time though the sausage seemed to be like sausage patties cut into chunks. Totally turned me off. Don't think I'll be ordering that again. Fantastic service! I've seen this place time and time again, but this was my first time actually stepping inside! Met up with a friend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They have an extensive choice of Wraps, Hot dogs, Cheesecakes (Duh!), Cinnamon Rolls, Italian Sodas, and specialty coffees! I didn't ask, but she may have been one of the owners. So I ordered the Italiano wrap and a cup of the Creamy Italian soup. My soup was so delicious and I'd go back for that alone! If they served bread (any kind!), it would make for the perfect meal! Wraps are served either cold or grilled and I got mine cold (thinking Italian sub without the bread ). It was very good, had plenty of meat, but unfortunately I had to take it to go after just two bites. I think I enjoyed the soup a bit too much, if that's even possible! Just saying... My friend ordered The BOMB wrap (Italian but with Turkey!) and she ordered hers grilled. She said it was very good! She also ordered a cup of soup, but she got the White Chicken Chili. Though it didn't look like a chili, she said it too was good, but would probably try something else next time. Anyway, you can't go to a place that has "Cheesecakes" in its name and not have cheesecake, so of course we had to have a slice... She got the PB and chips and I ordered the Banana Foster. I'm a big stickler when it comes to banana desserts and though they do make cheesecakes fresh and use fresh bananas, this one tasted more like it had banana flavoring and I personally didn't care for it... Our server was quick to offer me another option and though I told her I'd take the banana slice home to my husband (Frankie will eat it! He'll eat anything!), she insisted on not charging me for it. Again, great customer service! I ended up ordering the Multi-Berry and it was perfect! Our lunch tab totaled $61, but come on! We ordered wraps, soups, and dessert! I went today to pick up a slice of cheesecake for my dad. The girl said they only have plain cheesecake since it's closing time. I heard so many good things about their cheesecakes so I wanted to give it a try. She opened up the small fridge and I saw what looks like a chocolate mousse bar and crème brûlée bar both look like from Costco. I asked her if all the cakes were baked here and she said yes. Well come to find out they turn into a pumpkin at 4:00 and the place changes to some completely different restaurant after that for dinner. Well how was I supposed to know that ? Then we finally come back another day and they were closed for whatever reason between their regular hours of 11-4...what is going on ? If they are going to be closed during regular business hours then shouldn't they have a sign on the door? And also mgmt should have the common sense to make a general sign saying something to the effect of "Russos by day & Vincenzos by night" Don't they know a lot of tourists visit Prescott and they don't know their weird schedule ? read more

We used to come here every week. Then the Pandemic happened. We decided to walk the square on a Saturday night and remembered Shannon's. We walked over to get a bite and ughhhh... they were closed while we were standing there, a worker came to the door and asked if we wanted to eat? He said he would never turn down a customer if he could help it. He let us come in and sit down, place our order and then eat out meal. He let us eat inside while he was cleaning up.
