Came here this morning for an event sponsored by Parnall Law Firm (first 50 customers get a free drink). The line moved quickly. I got a 16 oz of the hot pumpkin pie latte with oat milk and it was the perfect blend of spices (that would've originally been $6+ without the promo). Can't believe I've driven by here so many times and have never stopped in. They also offer a military and veteran's discount

Albuquerque has a great coffee shop scene and rust is gold is just another one of those great options for a good cup. It's a very unique environment and absolutely coffee for dudes, but I like it. In case you didn't realize it is motorcycle themed and they are branding is very unique. They have great options when it comes to dietary restrictions and are very vegetarian friendly. Parking is never a problem and they don't get super busy but in a good way. It's a good place to sit down at work. Bonus points because they now are serving pastries from Fat City which is one of my favorite hidden gems. Their raspberry biscochito bar is absolutely amazing.

I've been here several times now and I think I need to re-review. Rust is Gold Coffee is a very popular place. There are always a lot of people here: reasonably varied (just saw a fellow with a shock of pink hair and a retired federal magistrate and his pup sitting at neighboring tables while I had coffee with a Baptist minister). It's sometimes louder than I like. They might have the tunes cranked pretty high and which will make chatting difficult - not a relaxing vibe. Sometimes - today, for instance - the sound level is just fine, though. Lots of nice places to sit (mostly indoors, a few outside), but the ones facing the nuclear sunlight (that's not mitigated by sufficiently tinted glass) may have glare issues when having a conversation with the folks facing inward toward the order counter. Their drip coffee is very good. And their service is friendly. I've not cared for their espresso when I inadvertently got a friend's drink due to server error, but they seem like they put a lot of thought into their froufy drinks - using pumpkin puree for my friend's pumpkin-spice latte today, for instance, following the owners' concerns about such drinks turning too syrupy. Anyhow, I meet people here and consider it a pretty good place to do that.

Another excellent visit! My latte was delicious, and the latte art was the best I have ever seen. Great spot to get some work done. Most of the chairs aren't super comfortable if sitting for a long period of time but they fit the look of the space well. Friendly service and a good atmosphere.

A snowy Saturday morning stopping in for a peppermint mocha with oat milk and a vegan chick'n biscuit sandwich.

This place has tasty hot coffee drinks and some nice seasonal offerings, like the peppermint mocha I got. I asked for it with oat milk and a little light on the sweetener, and it came out just right. For food, there are little vegan sandwiches. I enjoyed the vegan biscuit sandwich I had. There are also pastries. The space has a cool, unique vibe. I do wish it was cozier rather than so open, with softer chairs, but it's nice for a stop-in for a bit. Also would love to see more food offerings, especially vegan and vegetarian, at this and other coffeeshops.

This is my favorite coffee spot in town. These guys have a really cool place. Everything they make is always really good. They are never crazy busy. The service is always great. This place is always worth coming to even if it is out of your way.

Sip your latte while you shop several boutique venders, get a haircut, and admire the quirky decor. Fun place to go.

They're still getting their bearings I think. Nice young lady at the counter. No decaf coffee.

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points. Would love it if they went back to the old system! Other than that, Little Bear Uptown is my favorite place to get coffee in Albuquerque.

I was greeted at the door by a customer's very friendly golden lab, best greeting of the day btw. The coffee was as requested without issue. I visited today and had a very bad experience with the owner…read more I had my pet/service animal with me and was on a first date. He's a Yorkie and yes he provides tasks for me related to several medical issues. In fact he is very sensitive to my needs. The owner was confrontational and told me to sit outside, service animal or not. Then she started asking me what she has a right to, but at this point seemed unnecessary. I was on a first date, so I hesitated to say it loud given my first date. Then she snarled at me saying "I'm allowed to ask those questions." If it didn't matter to her if he was a service animal or not, then why the questions? I went back in to get the drinks they forgot to give us, and I showed her his documentation, though not required. She then told me "he's not a service dog!" This may get criticism or kudos, but I fail to see why the owner needed to be so rude and confrontational, especially when I was compliant with her wishes and compliant with the ADA laws. I have been asked the question, "what service does he perform?" at other restaurants, and businesses in Albuquerque without confrontation. They have acted with kindness and professionalism, directed me where to sit, asked for him to sit on the floor, etc. This woman did not and I felt she was purposely confrontational.
