Pros and cons in no particular order. I go 5x a week and pay 150 a month because I paid 6 months…read moreup front. For the intensity and efficaciousness of the one hour workouts offered, it's a f&$#%;/ steal. Staff is pretty friendly and trainers are tough but fair and overall inclusive. They coach in real time, there's no time for bruised egos. Everyone is treated exactly the same, meaning, whether you're dropping in for 30$/class or you dropped near 1k for 6 months up front, there is no preferential treatment. I doubt they even know who's there for long term or not because they are equally engaged with everyone. There's no ac yet so it can get pretty odorous at times especially when you got 15 in a class. I personally dont like hitting people however its a part of certain classes so you gotta know what the theme is for the class youre attending. Small Gatorade is 2$. You can buy gloves i think for 45 or 80. Wraps were 20$ for me. The elasticity is not as good as some of the wraps I got from Title boxing so I probably wouldnt buy from here directly. They do sell merchandise like tshirts and sweatshirts but nothing is on display at this location. Ive been to totally full classes and some with only me and another person and had a great workout regardless. Think body weight exercises, workout with weights, cardio, hitting bags, etc. They dont separate classes by skill and thats something I noticed annoys longer term patrons i e. People who are really there to spar. I just want to get my ass kicked doing a hiit style workout and im not really very well coordinated so sometimes i forget the moves or forget to move to my right or my left. However i got 6 months left to improve and get better. I havent been to any morning classes. Only 530 or 7 which i like the other classmates. I went at 1 on a friday once and loved it because it was a tiny class and the instructor kicked my ass. Im already seeing my body weight distribution shift and my endurance is fire. Ill only get better and I trust them to get me there. Def recommend

Unfortunately for people who may not be prepared like I was on a Sunday morning at 11am, I immediately cramped up and knew I couldn't continue with class (which was a bit crowded anyway). I asked for the instructor for some help and he guided me to foam roll my calf, but alas it was really bad - hard to tell if I simply didnt stretch or if I didnt have enough water beforehand. In any case typically the body conditioning is extreme for 30 minutes and then to a bit more technique on the various bags and rotating to one on one sparring. So generally instruction is good but more advice on stretching and reduction of injury would help. Lockers should be clipped as there always seems to none available. Cleaning is also very much needed as the floor is quite bad, spit buckets filled with trash. Bring your own towel (for sweat) and water bottle.

Running and pushing weights doesn't do it for me. X-Fit boxing is everything I've been needing in my life. Coach Ahmik is awesome. Patient, fun, demanding. He taught me the basics, pushed me to power through the lack of cardio and motivates without being negative. In 5 classes, I've learned multiple punch combos, proper techniques, pivots and so much more. The gym is clean, well kept and welcoming. But it smells like a gym that gets used by those who want to be better. I love it. If you're like me and want more out of getting in shape while also learning a skill that won't result in a dislocated shoulder or broken arm, this is the place. Classes are affordable. Coach is accessible. And the gym is awesome. Come get the gloves on and throw your best punch. You won't regret it.
