I found a cute suede futon sofa/sleeper in dark gray at The Mattress Center in San Marcos, Ca. A helpful young lady by the name of Angela helped me. She answered all my questions, even allowed me to take pictures of the item. I asked Angela what other colors did it come in. She said light gray and dark gray only. The dark gray was the only one on display. It's the one I took photos of, and it's the one I liked. I checked about 6 other places to compare prices and see if I found anything I liked better. I didn't. Furthermore, I went back and purchased the futon from the Mattress Center in dark gray 11/9/21. It was delivered on 11/10/21. It came in 3 pieces: the two arm rests & the center. While the delivery men were still in my home, I noticed the arm rests were both light gray and the center was dark gray. I immediately called Angela and advised her of the problem. She assured me when the delivery men got back to the store after making their other deliveries (I was the 1st delivery of the day) she would have them check the boxes and pull the dark arm rests and return with them, and she would call me back. She stated they must have taken the box of light gray arm rests in error. I even followed up and emailed her with a video of what was delivered. She never called me back, responded to the email, or had the correct arm rests delivered. On 11/11/21 I called the store at 10:30 am and asked to speak to Angela. I spoke to someone named Juan, he said Angela wasn't there. I explained the situation, and he said he was unaware of it and to call back in the afternoon to speak to the owner/ manager Neil. I called back at 2pm spoke to Juan again, he said Neil still wasn't there but would be there at 4pm and to call back. Furthermore, I called at 430pm and spoke to Juan a 3rd time, and he said Neil wasn't coming in today due to a family emergency. He would be in on Fri 11/12/21. At this point, I know when I'm being given the run around. As of today 11/12/21 no one from The Mattress Center has reached out to me. And I have a two toned futon that I didn't order/purchase. I only accepted the delivery because I was assured the problem would be rectified. And I had no reason to believe it wouldn't be. This is bad customer service at it's finest.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Bob's Furniture in Escondido. Now the electric footrest mechanism is binding and failing during normal use, and getting help has been a nightmare. The warranty company has been unresponsive, and the store keeps trying to pass responsibility off instead of actually helping resolve the issue. The most frustrating part is that the protection plan is sold directly through Bob's, but once there's a problem, suddenly nobody wants to help. We paid extra for this coverage and now can't even get basic communication or support. The couch is only a couple years old and already having mechanical issues, and the customer service experience has completely changed how I view this company. Be very careful before spending extra money on the Goof Proof warranty because when you actually need it, you may be left dealing with it on your own.

The chair was in the clearance section and already paid for. We work and all have busy lives and for them to refuse to let us pick up an item we paid for after coordinating with other people to come help us get this chair for my mom is ridiculous. This rule was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Holding a paid item is unreasonable and unprofessional. I will be speaking to upper management about this and will not shop here again. San Marcos is a small town and as a business owner myself who interacts with many clients on a daily basis this is not a good look for Jerome's. It is extremely unprofessional for something that should have been very simple.
