Proud local owners of this fine shop.

Unbelievable hospitality! Great owners who really care to deliver the very best products. Bread is homemade, has the ham & cheese on a croissant. Pastry's galore.. one better than the next. Support small locally owned businesses and give them a try. Wish I could give 6 stars

Okay Brennan's, I see you!…read more From the outside, Brennan's is pretty unassuming, but also incredibly cute. The best way I can describe it is modern, traditional, and farmhouse-inspired all at the same time. They have this beautiful ironwork sign out front with their name on it, and it immediately caught my attention. The real star of my visit, though, was Emerson. She was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything they had to offer and gave me plenty of space to look over the menu before ordering. I ordered the Pigeon River Latte and wasn't even thinking about the milk situation. Emerson asked if I wanted whole milk, which immediately reminded me that I am lactose intolerant and that choice would have ended my day very badly . That extra step showed a level of attentiveness that you don't always find. She wasn't just taking an order. She was actually thinking about the customer in front of her, and that deserves recognition. Emerson also explained that most of their menu items, along with many of the products in their refrigerator cases, are locally sourced. The only exception is the burritos. I absolutely love that. Since I'm also a kombucha girlie, I grabbed the "Bumble Blossom Jasmine" and the "Be Still" from Bailey's Farms to try. Both were great choices. The space itself was clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Parking was easy to find right out front. To be fair, I arrived around 8:00 a.m. right when they opened, so if parking had been difficult, I probably would have been concerned lol. Another detail I appreciated was finding resources in the restroom related to women's safety. It's a small thing, but it showed me that they care about creating a safe environment for their customers. I was also excited to learn that they offer delivery. Since I'm in town working with my team, and many of us are up and moving well before 6:30 a.m., knowing they're open at 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and can deliver is a huge plus. Overall, I highly recommend Brennan's. If you find yourself in Gaylord, Michigan, give them a shot. They earned every bit of this 10 out of 10.

It was fresh, but it was not strong, dark, and bold. Limited edible offerings. Execution and Hospitality. Typical millenial serviceability = limited engagement, no eye contact, and minimal delivery of expectations. Logos, Pathos, and Ethos. Clean loos. Whimsical and rustic decor. Nice live plants. Lots of natural light. Street and lot parking. Seating was hard. Music was loud and echoed for an almost empty place. Overall, OK. Photodocumented experience.

One of the few coffee spots open much of each day this is a fun stop for a cup of something…read more Once you walk in there is an open vibe with many tables and some comfy chairs as well as various spots to work if you are so inclined. You order at the counter that is directly in front of you, and then they serve the drinks at the end of the counter. Do be mindful though of what you ordered as they didn't take names and called out orders instead. If it is busy (which it was when we visited) you also have to keep on top of the orders as often people mistakenly take an order. They are gracious about making another one for you, but it helps everyone to keep your ears open for your original order. My latte was full of flavor and not too bitter but did need a bit of sugar to make it sweet enough for me. They do have alternative mills but run out quickly so if you want something on a holiday or busy weekend I suggest you go early. Their teas are also quite good as my husband can contest, so if you want to try a tea they have several good options. All in all a great coffee spot and one that can accommodate larger groups and even has some fun Boyne City souvenirs to purchase. Recommend a stop in while visiting !
