Went for apple fritters cited to get a cherry turnover as well. Apple fritter was very doughy and large in Coffee but unfortunately, it did not have apple trunks or cinnamon swirl's inside. It was just a giant water though. Vehicle is on top was delicious. But if you're looking for an apple fritter, this is definitely not the place to get something that even resembles that .. The staff was lovely the girls behind the counter. We're very helpful and even set aside for her to say for me. Unfortunately, the donut itself just completely missed the mark. The cherry turnover tasted like something out of a chemical factory. I'm sure everything was made in the house and made fresh and did some fresh but I would say the tests were off or lacking. Perhaps some of the other donuts that I haven't tried are better and quality and taste but the two things that I did try I would say this is the one star place and I only give it one star because I liked the vibe of the people working there . read more

We stopped here because of positive reviews we read and we are glad we did! The atmosphere was excellent- cozy log cabin with lots of thriving (real) plants! I enjoyed the skillet #2- potatoes with peppers and onions, corned beef, eggs, and the perfect amount of gravy, not overwhelming. Our server was top notch- very nice and attentive. There were not many donuts left when we came in at 10:30 so I was quick to snag some and OH MAN the donuts here are the star! The yeast donuts might be the best ever but the cake donuts are VERY good also. Make sure you come here early for the best selection because they go quick! read more

Read the reviews so I decided to give it a try. If you are in the Bellaire area, travel the extra 15 minutes and go to Mancelona, you will not be disappointed. Not only is it a breakfast and lunch restaurant, it is a bakery. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Took home the raspberry pastry and custard filled donut. When I think of this place, I think brunch heaven. They have an amazing breakfast menu with different classics, skillets, scrambles, and omelettes you name it! They also have a fantastic pastry display with tons of delicious donuts. We were shocked to randomly stop by here on our drive back home and have food this good. Excellent service here too, we were constantly being checked up on and they really enforced wearing masks and staying safe which I loved to see. This is a must for anyone driving in the area! Even if you are in Petoskey or Charlevoix drive here for breakfast, you won't regret it! read more

I love this place! They have great donuts and pastries, and stopping in is always a pleasant experience. Try the cherry donuts, they are awesome. And they freeze really well. Put them in a ziplock bag, and they thaw out just like they came fresh out of the fryer. read more

Apple fritters make my life better in so many ways! Bojack's fritters are so light and fluffy with the perfect apple and cinnamon ratio that they are worth every fried, calorie laden bite. I enjoyed an oversized sugar cookie with blackberries and another one with cherries, but my favorite treat remains their fritters, even if I do have to hike up Schuss mountain later in the day to burn off some of the calories. read more

Quite possibly the best donuts I have ever eaten. The glazed twists are a little crisp on the outside and so soft in the center they melt in your mouth. The apple fritters and cake donuts are absolutely awesome as well. The have shelves always looked a little bare when I have visited but I am guessing they make them in smaller batches to ensure the freshness and to limit waste (food cost/waste is the biggest expense in the industry.). Gad I don't live closer, because I would eat here daily! read more

The best breakfast place in this area. Two days in a row made the trip here. They bake their own breads and delicious baked goods and donuts. Excellent nice friendly service. Super nice owner. Perfectly prepared eggs. Hashed Browns were out of this world - peppered, delicious. Excellent coffee - beans from Ferris Roasters. Couldn't recommend higher. Will hurry back. Beautifully prepared, wholesome, simple food served by a friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. Amazing donuts!! It much indoor seating, but donuts were obviously made in-house and super fresh.

What a lovely little bakery and cafe. We came in on a Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed. There were 3 gentlemen working. One of which was the owner who cooked the food and brought it out personally. Everything was amazing. Very good breakfast and baked goods. We will definitely be back again.
