We went here for our first time for my mom's birthday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding, the wine selection was fantastic and the service was top notch! David was our server and we will ask for him again the next time we go. Not only was he personable, he had a great disposition and an air about him that made you feel like you were already good friends--which totally made my mom's experience that much better. Great place if you love food poisoning, being treated like dirt, frozen food, racist management, and inconsiderate waiters. Be prepared to stand by an empty hostess station being ignored for long periods of time. If you stand around long enough, the host will be confused as to why you are still here and (instead of offering you a table) give you the "what do you want?" look. If you have the balls to ask for a table, you will be given one and left ignored to think about what you've done so that maybe next time you won't be so needy. Make sure you don't forget to bring any necessities such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning supplies. Should the waiter spill sauce on your table, you wouldn't want to be one of those pesky customers that can't clean it on their own. If you've somehow made it to the main course, the kitchen staff is very considerate. They can't be sure whether you prefer your pasta hot or cold, so you will receive your plate hot on one half and cold on the other. Not to worry, though, you will get food poisoning from either half if you ordered a plate with seafood. The key takeaways here are that this restaurant is doing just fine, they don't need or want your business, will continue to grow in realms both culinary and economic, and you should stay away so you're not inconveniencing the owners and staff during busy times. read more

I was so disappointed last night with the woman at the front at this restaurant. Never know that's not true but she was very I have met rude people that she was so rude and so uncordial. I had called in an order, the girl on the phone was so very nice(hence two stars). Paid for it over the phone and told 20-25 minutes. Go ahead and walk in to pick it up or call for them to bring it out. I got there at the 25 minute mark, parked, went in. There were a couple of people inside, but no one in the line or standing on the "social distance " circle. So I went up to the desk. Only to be BARKED AT to go outside and stand there. Nowhere does it state this. Nowhere. I have just started trying this restaurant trying to support small businesses, but not this one. Rude person! read more

Took a few minutes to be seated. We did not even sit completely when the waitress asked if we wanted wine. I don't enjoy the feeling of being rushed...does not make for a pleasurable meal. The bread came with a side olive oil with balsamic ( balsamic should be an option) though the bread was ok the olive oil was very weak in taste. Olive oil should be a feast to itself; rich, fragrant, and fruity. We asked for a bit of chopped garlic, made it better. Calamari for a start...it was ok. I ordered the Brussel Sprouts..the sauce was good. However, the sprouts were a bit more than al denté. Husbie ordered Spaghetti with meat sauce, received Bolognese. Wow. Just wow. This is my third time eating at this establishment and let's just say this place never ceases to fail me. The customer service is always amazing! I felt like I was apart of a warm family due to the hostess and our wonderful waiter, Miguel. My mans continuously made my girlfriend and I laugh, he even convinced me to upgrade to a larger pizza. The food was EXQUISITE, "chefs kiss". The complimentary bread is nothing to play with, it honestly shouldn't be free because Jesus that garlic bread is something else. The bread was so soft topped off with garlic butter and mozzarella, the balsamic vinegar and olive oil is a nice dip but it honestly doesn't even need it. I ordered the New Yorker pizza, which comes with red sauce and topped with all types of juicy meats. Here's the thing though. The pizza was cooked to perfection. Not too doughy but not overcooked. The crust had a nice a crisp and tasted very similar to the complimentary garlic bread, which is amazing. I hate when pizza is too greasy, but that wasn't the case with this one. We have been to Rustico twice now, and I really enjoy this sweet neighborhood Italian eatery. Our friends recommended it, and we have to give 5 stars for the delicious Italian cuisine. We made happy hour tonight, which is from 3 to 6 pm m-f. There is nice menu. The personal sized flatbread pizza is around 5 bucks and was delightful. We also tried the mozzarella meatballs. Best pizza in the valley that I've eaten since moving here a couple years ago. You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients on any pie there. Crust is buttery and crispy, and the proportions of sauce/cheese/veggies/meat are ALWAYS on point. If you like meat get the New Yorker. I usually build my own though. read more

We went to an early dinner at Rustico. We have dined at Rustico previously, but haven't been in awhile. We enjoyed a salmon Caesar salad that was very good. PreCOVID, I would visit regularly. Portions were great . flavor and price reasonable. I live 20 minutes away, did a pick up and was 100% disappointed when i got home. A basic dinner size fettuccine Alfredo $16 with added shrimp $7, cost $23 total. It had literally a child portion of pasta and three shrimp. 3 shrimp for $7! Growing up in an Italian household with both parents being second generation Italian, I'd like to think I know what good Italian food is. We moved here almost a year ago, and have only ordered pizza to go from here, which we love... until tonight! We finally got to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. The calamari was very good as well, although I hoped for a bit more on the portion size for the price. Now when I looked through the menu, I was excited to see Gnocchi! You don't see it often, and seeing on the menu got me excited about the chef behind the menu. My grandmother made the best gnocchi from scratch, but holy cow, this was the best gnocchi I have ever had!! My wife had chicken with white wine sauce on artichoke which was good, but she decided to steal my gnocchi because it was that amazing! Walking into the restaurant you are treated to a lovely dining area with an elegant atmosphere. As you order your food you are served a nice warm loaf of bread and if you finish it quick, a second loaf is served without the need for asking. Your glass is always full, the staff is all way Fi and on top of everything. The food was outstanding. Truly delicious. Let me take a moment and talk once more about the staff. So my wife and I finally tried Rustico after repeatedly driving past it on my way to work and seeing that meatball they have plastered on the side of the building. Whoever came up with the idea to hang the banner, I want you to know it worked! We tried Rustico and loved it. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere were all wonderful! We highly recommend Rustico. We loved it so much that we also tried dessert, which is something we never do. But it looked really good (saw someone else order it), and based on the food we knew, we would like it. I will say that it is on the more pricey side. We have gone twice already, and each time, we paid over $100. But in this case you are paying for quality.
