Came here to support a good cause. Friends were having a fundraiser and apparently this 'pub' does a lot of this type of events. I use the word pub loosely here, because they had no problem with children running throughout the premises, so I'm not sure if that still qualifies as an actual pub. The tickets were $25 and included a burger and a beer or wine. I sure hope the charity made a lot on the ticket because the food and drink was pitiful. Service was terrible. It appeared there was only one waitress assigned to the fundraiser area and that was definitely not enough. The area blocked off for the ticket holders was also not nearly big enough for the number of tickets sold. Given the place 'does this all the time ' and they were informed in advance how many tickets were sold this seemed dodgy. The wine they served was the worst headache inducing plonk, while the beer was a choice of Coors, Canadian, or an undefined Pilsner. The burgers were dry at best and burnt at worst. Our waitress walked away from our table several times while we were still trying to order. She'd take one person's order and leave without asking if anyone else wanted anything even when someone else at the table was trying to get her attention. Staff routinely removed half full drinks from tables if left unguarded. They removed plates of food in the same way, without asking if anyone was done. I saw customers cleaning their own tables in a way that made me think it wasn't the first time. I doubt I will return.

A local neighborhood pub as their name would say, lots of locals come here as their usual watering hole. Inside is a bit dark but follows the them of a western saloon. This pub does allow children so a great choice for families looking for a quick bite and beer. Food here was good, though some are hit and miss. Crispy Chicken Sandwich with chipotle slaw, bacon, tomato, jack cheese, chili aioli, lettuce, kaiser: This was very well done, perfectly fried chicken, crispy and flavorful. Meat to bun ratio was good. Fried were crispy and seasoned well. Doc Holiday burger which comes with 6OZ bbq beef burger, cheddar cheese, hickory bacon with Lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. This was a bit under whelming, i expected much better quality patty as it looked and tasted like something that was frozen/pre packaged. French Onion Soup: Very basic soup but definitely left us questioning the price they were charging. At $11 i would have expect a larger portion as well as a better executed dish. The soup was overly sweet and strong taste of rosemary. All which are fine for this soup but it lack the depth and richness of a proper base broth. Would not order this one again thats for sure.

In between the lunch and dinner rushes (but still too early for happy hour, drat), we found ample free parking in the parking lot. Outside, the pub was exactly as I remembered. Upon stepping inside, wow! The place had clearly undergone an extensive renovation and was now what you would expect from an upscale pub. Upon first glance there was a good mix of high seats, regular seats, and a few booths. We seated ourselves and the friendly waitress came over in due course to ask for drinks to get us started, and take our orders. I appreciated the extensive menu; plenty of choices for appetizers, sandwiches/wraps, entrees, etc. Boyfriend ordered the Falafel Veggie Wrap and I ordered the Station Rice bowl, and was able to go easy on the sauce (bonus points whenever a place can offer minor customization). My rice bowl was piping hot (yum) and they did seem to go easy on the sauce, so the rice at the bottom wasn't swimming in the soy-ginger sauce. Portion size was great given the price, and I thought it was filling without leaving me feeling bloated. What struck us the most were the prices. Our total bill was just shy of $25 (disclosure: we did not order any alcoholic beverages). Looking over the menu, all the prices (sandwiches, wraps, entrees) dirt-cheap in comparison to some of the other pub-like establishments or chain restaurants out there. Without a doubt, this will be a nice sit-down restaurant on my list if I'm in the area!

I usually get my liquor from Guilford Station liquor store. And they have a point system where when…read moreyou buy the liquor your points get added and later you can and cash those points into money and buy the stuff from Guildford Station pub. I've used this facility3-4 times earlier Where I ordered food and picked it up for my home.but this time when I went to pick up my order which was worth around $50 and they told me I cannot use my points money, which I have done it earlier for a Takeaway purpose and now SuddenlyIt's only for dining. So my receipt which I picked up from the Gulf Station liquor store was a waste. I don't like to sit around stinky people smelling weed all around and doing drugs outside so I prefer to take my food home. The dumb bartender Steve or jason pretended that he is a manager and refused to cancel the order. I was not having my wallet and he threatened me to not let me go if I don't pay the bill. I have paid almost $50 on my pocket after I have points which I can cash and which I have done earlier as well. This is the shittiest service I have ever got from a restaurant. No matter if it is your fault or the liquor store fault to let me know the changed rule, I lost the money. I am not coming back to you guys ever again.. neither for liquor or for food. Anyways, your food sucks. I am attaching both the photos of the slip from Guildford Station liquor store with a valid $30. And the receipt and the money charged by the bartender Who is pretending to be a manager Which will show the time.

My hot wings was drenched in delicious Buffalo sauce mixture. My partners wings on the other hand did not appeal to me. The dry rubs for Cajun and Tex Mex was not consistently coated. The sauce for the Caribbean wings was cold. All in all the wings could have been presented better. I know it's a bar, but I have been to other bars for cheap wing night and presentation was still on point. My Caesar salad was well dressed, but somehow it was flavourless like it was missing something... anchovies? The Caesar drink tasted a little bit off however once I squeezed my lime, it was good to drink. Some may consider this a divey bar. I didn't hate nor did I didn't like it here. I could tell some of the customers are regulars. I did not notice inflation prices on the menu. Great service! My partner thought our server did an excellent job.

TIKI DAVE from TIKI DAVE'S TERRIFIC TRIPS absolutely loves this place!…read more After searching for the best Tiki Bar in Vancouver (what???), I absolutely had to leave the family at the airport hotel to check this place out. As Son of TIKI DAVE would say, I didn't need to go, but I wanted to go. Yes, yes, Alec, I wanted to go. And the reviews lived up to the hype. What a wonderful spot halfway between the airport and downtown. I left it up to the bartenders to choose my drinks... Against my better judgment, I went with the bartender's recommendation to try the Painkiller because they touted it better than the Soggy Dollar Bar in the BVI. Well, I've been to the BVI but never the Soggy Dollar Bar...yeah, I know. But this drink, that I would normally think too sweet for my taste, was amazing. Now, I have to go to the freakin' Soggy Dollar Bar to compare but I'd bet this one was better. For my second, I again, left it up to the knowledgeable bartender to guide me the way. And he served me up with this perfectly amazing and glowy amazingness that is the Rememberer? Which is off menu. It was amazing. And did I mention it glowed? Ambience and service is amazing. I showed up on a Saturday night at 10 and I was worried after reading about it that I'd have trouble getting in but it wasn't a problem at all. The cocktails are generally on the sweeter side, but they're also surprisingly strong. We ordered the Zombie (3 oz), and there's a reason it's limited to two per guest. It tasted sweet and tropical, but it definitely sneaks up on you and can get you tipsy pretty quickly. The drink prices are quite reasonable, especially compared to the food. While the food is decent, I'd say the cocktails are the real highlight here. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of tropical vibes, come for the drinks and the atmosphere rather than the food.
