I'm writing this review while stuck at home on quarantine because of covid-19. My wife makes breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday since we're stuck at home, but its nice to occasionally give her a break. Rusty's pizza always hits the spot. Their pizza is some of the best in town. They have many locations which is very convenient. Lucky for us we only live a few minutes away so we usually do take out but delivery is always fast and reliable. read more

We were the only people in the restaurant besides one other woman that had ordered before us. We were told the wait would be about 10 minutes for 2 small pizzas and some wings. We waited for about 35-40 minutes and when we got home with our pizzas(and ranch that they charged us extra for), our pizzas were completely burnt and hard. Called the call center and they informed us they couldnt help us. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE! This is why you're losing business, Rustys! I hope Cindy finds out about this and does something fast. I worked for Rustys for 3 years, this is pathetic. read more

I went to eat there tonight and I couldn't believe what I heard and saw! I saw with my own eyes an employee drunk and couldn't walk straight to his truck and then while my family and I were eating, the staff behind the counter were cussing their heads and were being so loud and obnoxious! Hello!!! We have kids and were trying to enjoy our meal! I DO NOT recommend that place for a pizza place! Now, i can say that at another location in the my same town, Ive never had any issues. I cant believe what i had to go through and i spent my money to see and hear that!? Thats wrong!! Dont go to this location! And also, when we got there, the place is not clean at all. If i could, i wouldnt give this place even a 1 star! read more

The pizza is soo good here (pan crust). Best super wedges ever, on the pricey side fyi. The service was great and even the cockroach was extremely friendly. I will say that it was a bit awkward when that little critter came out by the register because the employee made eye contact with it and so did I and then we looked at each other. Was a brave baby roach. The touch screen soda machine almost made me forget about la cucaracha, every single soda type and flavor imaginable plus fruit punches, teas, lemonade, etc. The pizza was as delicious as always, but owner should really get an exterminator for bug problem :(. By the way, health inspection passed with an A. By the way again, I will continue to eat here because it's the best pizza around. read more

Rusty's Pizza is a local staple here in Bakersfield, despite not even being a solely Bakersfield pizza place. Rusty's is like the fine wine of pizza locally. The sauce is amazing, the crust is wonderful, and the sides are incredible! It is a bit expensive compared to the pizza chains peppered throughout town, but the extra few bucks is spent on higher quality, and greater taste. Bottom line, if you want great pizza, call or venture to Rusty's, you won't regret it. read more

Eww I was sitting in the party room with friends and a roach came crawling down the wall. Several of the girls in my party screamed and it was swiftly killed. I am hoping that isn't the secret ingredient to their pizza. The coke machine can use a good cleaning as well. read more

Well Carp!!, My GPS showed a BBQ place that turned out to be a ranchette, then a hot dog place that was a residence....? Time for an update I guess. I just kept going down the street she suggested (I'm starting to think she likes messing with me) and came by a shopping center. After not getting my BBQ or hot dog I was ready to give up and go to Burger King or Jack In The Box. I really was not in the mood for Mexican or really cheap Chinese (been there, not doing it again). Rusty's was on the corner. I didn't want pizza but most places have sandwiches so I gave it a shot. Got the half Canadian Bacon with cheese, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing. They have a lunch special that has potato wedges and a drink, but I just had the sandwich and drink. Pretty strong sammich! Nice toasty roll with just a bit of crunch, perfect ratio of meat / veggies / bread. 11:30 on a weekday, so not many people, but spacious and clean. I saw a personal size pizza come out as I was ordering and it looked very good. I'd say try it out if you're nearby. read more

I usually go here when I'm with a larger group of friends for pizza. The pizza is always delicious but I'm not the biggest fan of the wings. If you go here, you should order a side of wedges! They're so yummy. Never had a rude employee here and I've been coming for awhile. read more

Ordered for delivery to a nearby hotel. Pep/mush/sausage was so tasty and crisp upon delivery! It also was delivered fast. I will definitely order again. Ordered a few more times the last time we were here. It was still very good. I'd give 3.5 stars. read more

I was in town for a Cheer Comp. and had no idea where any thing was so the Marriott had a coupon we dialed them up and . I was Very Please . Im coming back and we will be ordering again . Worst customer service I've EVER had! Came from LA, as I usually do about once or twice a month, had to order a quick dinner for me and my kiddos.. Somehow I got the number to rustys and ordered the thin crust pizza ... Apparently they had to order the thin crust out from another store! It was going to take an hour!!! My cousins (whom we were visiting) ordered this for all of us, so I can't comment on price or service, but all I know is this was the best pizza!! Seriously good stuff. It was HUGE and the sauce was perfect, the pepperoni and cheese and crust...everything was perfect. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I want more! First time coming to this location and it was a great experience. There's a lady there but I couldn't read her name tag, starts with a B. She was nice, and went above and beyond with her customer service. The location is clean, and the games look a newer than the other locations. I Thank you for a great experience! Nothing I would pay for. the all meat Centenial pizza was no great shakes. Much like you would expect at any of the chain type outlets. If you are really thirsty be sure to get a pitcher of beer. I love Rusty's I eat it at least 3 times a week. I can't go to this one though. Every time I order delivery I ask for fresh wedges and they don't give them to me. The pizza is light in toppings and the ranch isn't like the ones at the other stores. The drivers are sweet though. I'd recommend you try the one on Bernard, auburn, or Wible. read more
