Giving 5 stars because 6 isn't an option! We loved this low key sports bar. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and said it was delicious. I had the fish and chips. Fish was perfectly lightly buttered, fries were crispy and soft in the middle, and the coleslaw was amazing! Mayo based and perfectly seasoned. My kids enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders, both said they were yummy! Been coming here for years food Tuesdays for trivia & tacos and always looked forward to it and had a good time. Tacos are always good and we get decent service. BUT they have a new girl running the trivia who is just plain vulgar, makes inappropriate comments and just straight up makes me and my wife uncomfortable. Rusty's has always been one of our favorite spots, but we won't be back until they have someone a little more professional, considerate and normal for trivia because the past few weeks were just plain weird and uncomfortable. So we are a group of 10 guys in town for some golf and drinking. We find ourselves worn out from a long day of drinking and golf and have a hankering for raw oysters. What better place than a raw bar, I think Rusty may have a different opinion of raw bar, we got some beers and the waiter told us to order at the bar, ok 10 orders at the bar, not real convenient, we order 6 dozen of Rusties finest oysters only to be told they are out of oysters, ok , odd well how about crab balls , nope out of balls, so we settled for chicken wings and grilled Mac and Cheese. There were quite a few loose girls in the place so probably could have gotten some crabs. Rusty should change the name to the Rusty Bar and dance club grill. The wings were ...nothing special. Love this little local whole in the wall! Fresh seafood and diverse menu. Fish dip, fish n chips and grouper are the way to go (at least that is what we have tried). The drinks are resonantly priced and the bartenders are very friendly. This is the place the locals hang out! I'll be honest, it's a no frills restaurant/bar but if you want good food and a chill atmosphere, this is a place for you! If you looking for a great Sunday day to watch football then this place would be a good ideal! Usually service is good at the bar and a little slower when not. I have had the appetizer peel and eat shrimp, and it was good. I have had the buffalo chicken appetizer, it was ok but swimming in sauce that leaked all over from the plastic mesh basket it was served on. I have also had the Tex-mex egg roll and ordered the Cobb salad and it was very good. The building layout is just weird, sprawling and dark without a focal point other than the bar.. otherwise I think you'd feel a little lost and afraid to go to the corners as you may get lost and forgotten. Of course I'm kidding.. sort of. Oddly uncomfortable and lacking ambiance, except for the recently added coastal paintings which are pretty cool. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was there with my husband earlier this week and there were two girls working behind the bar. One of them being named Amanda who seemingly promotes drinking on the job (from what we were overhearing she also promotes other drug use). Same thing with the "manager" on duty Jordan. She was not friendly, not pleasant, and had a bad aura about her. She was clearly either progressively getting drunk or using some type of drugs while working as her speech became slurred and she became rather irate with customers. This was a turn off for both my husband and myself as we just wanted to have a relaxing late night dinner after finding out we lost everything due to the hurricane. We were extremely unhappy with the service, lack of customer care (unless you were a young guy) and the attention to our orders and tab was non existent. And then we overheard Jordan and Amanda making fun of customers for their appearance and the tip amount they gave. I am sorry, but something needs to be done because these two seem like they carry themselves drunk/high on the job like it must be a regular occurrence. I know that my husband and I would not allow our employees to act anywhere close to this at our establishment. I apologize for the bad review as I am sure this is not a representation of all of your staff...but these two did not care about what they were discussing on the floor and they seem as if they think they are untouchable. I will tell you that something needs to be done! I would highly suggest either getting rid of them or make sure you are monitoring your employees very closely. And if it couldn't get worse, my husband and I were leaving after our terrible experience and we witnessed Jordan, Amanda, and it looked like someone who had to be in the kitchen outside smoking something through some type of drug paraphernalia and then snorting something out of a small spoon. It smelt like they were smoking marijuana, but whatever they were all snorting was a final nail in the coffin for us. I am disgusted to see the staff of your establishment act this way without a care in the world. For their sake, thankfully law enforcement was not involved. We've had only had 2 opportunities to eat take out from Rustys The first was a # of months ago when our son wanted impressive Oysters and found that Rusty's may well have the largest oysters around... and very fresh. Went for happy hour and dinner and did not disappoint. Place was packed with large parking lots. Windows are tinted to keep it cool inside - pick a door any door will get you inside. It's seat yourself. Lots of TVs with sports and shows on. Big spot for live bands to play. Happy hour has 2.50 beers and wells and wines and 75 cent steamed shrimp and boneless wings. Shrimp were huge and fresh and excellent with a side of old bay to dip in. For dinner we had fried shrimp basket and Buffalo chicken wrap - both excellent. Service was over the top with every server friendly and helping you even if it wasn't your table. We will definitely return. read more

This is a great sports bar with an incredible staff! The place was swamped tonight (rib night) and the food came out delicious, hot and fast. Bar crew kept beers and drinks flowing and even the buss crew worked like a machine keeping tables clear and the bar stocked. This is a well oiled machine, for sure! read more

WOW! Delicious Seafood! Great Service!..... There's nothing I didn't love about this place. Arrived with a friendly welcome from Cody who took our drink orders. The The soup was great! I had the "Gronch" Chowder! Conch and Clam. But I also sampled the clam chowder and it was particularly good because there was only a small amount of potatoes and it was packed with chunks of clam! The Steamed Shrimp were seasoned to perfection. Did I mention the unique, flavorful fries? Our server Makaela was so very nice, efficient, and helpful. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. The restrooms were clean and I loved the refreshing scented soap in the dispenser. Stopped by here for lunch with my wife. its a large sized bar that sits in a small strip mall. The actual bar in the restaurant is HUGE! It was fairly busy for noon on a Friday in my opinion. We sat down and were greeting quickly. Our drinks were ordered and came quickly. We were starving and ready for lunch so we ordered. For an appetizer we got the warm peel and eat steamed shrimp. They were good sized and quite fresh. I would guess these were mostly likely local (Florida) gulf shrimp. With a light dusting of Old bay they were tasty and satisfying. The grouper po-boy caught our eye and when we inquired with the server about the size, she stated that its big enough to share so that's what we did. After awhile of waiting we started wondering if they were out trying to catch the grouper! The manager approached us and apologized for our long wait. Apparently, they had just got in a new shipment of fish and had to cut it prior to cooking. The sandwich is made of small cuts of fish breaded lightly and fried. The sandwich came out on a very soft and tasty roll and the fish was fresh our of the fryer and hot. We split it in half and enjoyed it. The server came back apologizing again and said that she would take the sandwich off our bill for the long wait we endured. How nice! I was very impressed and thankful. Overall, I was pleased and they did a great job on the food and made up for the issues with the sandwich, without me having to ask. This kind of service is what keeps people coming back. I am officially done with with the inconsistency of this kitchen. As a longtime customer I have seen quality and consistency of the food degrade in an abysmal manner. Tonight I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, which was the poster child for rubber chicken. I could barely cut the sandwich in 1/2 (strange, but did not initially register) and trying to chew the meat was awful. I had to try 3 bites before I believed how completely uneatable this was.... STUNNING unfortunately This was taken as a to go meal, so $10.00 later I was out of luck. I'm writing this as an "out of towner". We went to the Estero location. Note: we arrived at 8:00, we left at 1:00 AM. It went from retirement home to college bar Around 10:00 PM. When we first arrived they had a live band that was playing a lot of old rock songs, loved it. The joint was full of old people, definitely 60+ yrs of age. Around 8:30 the band stopped playing, there was an hour or two of silence and a DJ hit the stage at 10:00. They do have a dance floor. The DJ that was there played a lot of songs that would be considered "throw backs" so the college kids weren't really dancing but I was. The food was decent for a bar, they have oysters on the half shell, but not a variety, only one kind. They have a pretty large menu. They have a couple of big circle tables so we were able to sit 8 at a table, and our table was in the back corner away from the band, which I loved cause you could hear the music but you could still talk to each other without screaming. Around 9:00 the waiters cut off table service so they can help behind the bar. I was really amazed at how well they kept up with the drink orders. They are really fast considering how many people are there. Side note: all the waiters pool the tips and split them at the end of the night, there's not a tip jar for the DJ but buy him a shot or a beer when you out in a request. read more

Stopped for lunch today and was looking forward to eating lunch at one our regular stops on a Sunday. They were closed down for a period of time for not following covid restrictions on number of people inside the restaurant at one time. None of the staff were wearing masks. There is no hostess so sometimes you feel like a hawk looking for a table while others are finishing their meals. Last time, I posted up at the bar and waited for a table for my group. My aunts love to come here on Wednesdays for rib night. I think that the special is $11.99 for a rack of ribs. People say the ribs are better some weeks than others, but I have not actually ever had them. I'm not a huge fan of ribs, so I had an order of wings instead! The wings were good, but not the most flavorful. The prices are good, the service is mediocre, but it's a casual environment for an easy dinner out or a spot to watch a sporting event with friends. read more
