My bikes getting old. tons of use and memories...(JK its all commuting to work) So i went into Ruthless Kustomz today because my bike was leaking and then it did something scary...it stopped! not a woo hoo problem solved kinda thinking but more of an OH GOD WHAT DID I RUN OUT OF!? So i called Anthony and he is able to find a spot for me to arrive to help me. I was thinking it was Radiator Fluid because the droplets were runny and not viscous like oil. Anthony put my bike onto the lift and checks my fluid levels. radiator is at capacity. so he checks my oil and its low. i have oil at my house so i make sure to put a note into my phone as to not forget (i always keep up with anthonys advice, he keeps me safe and my bike running.) I make sure to point out areas of concern and when my bike is on the lift it is easier to look at all areas not before seen from previous vantage points. Anthony listens to my concerns and we find solutions and start talking prices for upcoming work that will need to be addressed. Im glad to see Anthony is open and up and running when alot of small businesses are struggling. Anthony takes his time and also sprayed my bike with a cleaner to keep my bike aesthetically pleasing. A couple of friends and I decided to go riding over the weekend. My quads hadn't been turned on in years. So I researched a local motorcycle shop on yelp and I ended up finding this diamond in the rough of a shop. I took my two quads to Anthony on a Thursday and picked them up Sunday morning at 4:30am right before I we went riding. If that's not customer service thn I don't know what is. At first I thought the previous mechanic fixed all the issues on my bike after a crash months ago, but apparently they did a messy job, so one night I was going back from LA to Riverside , i was about 12miles from home and belt blew out. It was 4:30am and so I took a chance and called Ruthless Kustomz. Anthony, the owner, was nice enough to bring me and the bike to the shop right away to try and fix everything. Then he followed up after discovering there were a bunch of issues on it as well. They try their best to find all the parts same day and fix everything. Anthony and Kyle are pretty flexible with me, due to me being a Ucr student and my schedule is busy, and they make sure the bike and me is safe. They are very understanding and helping people Still waiting on then to finish all the repairs on my bike to be at 100% but so far so good. Wanted to give an honest review with these guys. I came in to get my front fork seals and fork oil change to my 2012 factory rsv4. I told them I was going to stay and watch because I really want the best for this beautiful bike that I have put so much love since day I bought it 5 years ago. We got into some issues on the forks because this type of ohlin forks is different from others. It's a 3k$ suspension and I surely didn't want them to damage anything, and the mechanic did great by being careful. But then everything went smooth after studying. The bike was done Friday. As a canyon rider, I put my full suit on and off I went to Ortega hwy the following day of Saturday . Front suspension feels great as exactly the same settings as I had them before. After the ride, I looked at my tires and the wear is good. Your suspension plays a huge part on the wear on tires. Overall tires looks great after the ride. Period. Do get your front fork seal and fork oil change with these guys. Newport Ducati charges $600.00. This shop only charge me $360. 00. read more

Ok so I normally don't do this whole review thing. Which is funny because I read reviews and do as much research as I can BEFORE making any decisions. But here I am, writing a review for Anthony and his business. Let's start with a few subjective facts that we all share as riders. Our bikes are pretty much everything to us. We love our motorcycles more than even our own relatives, spouses, kids, family members. If something happens to our bikes, we get anxiety, we get stressed, and we definitely topple the world over to find out how fix him/her (yes bikes are humane organisms and they have feelings). So if we share such a huge love for these machines of ours, would we just leave it with ANY individual? That leads me to Anthony. I recently moved to SoCal and I needed a mechanic. So I was doing my usual search on yelp and calling around. I saw Ruthless Kustomz and saw the great reviews that Anthony got. However, it was the one "negative" review that caught my attention. I'm not sorry to say the customer who wrote that negative review was completely wrong and I was impressed at how Anthony responded. Proving picture representation of dialogue through text to show how professional AND personable he was being. So I decided to continue, and this is where the objective factual review comes in. FACTS AND CONCRETE EVIDENCE. Anthony is a mechanic who takes pictures of all the work he is doing on your bike. (I needed valve adjustments done...hard work...how would I know if a mechanic did the job?) Well Anthony pretty much took pics of EVERYTHING. From the fairing removal to the opening of valves. I'm not the most knowledgeable in understanding the mechanisms of an engine, but I sure as heck knew my bike was being taken care of! He is very upfront with his costs. He charges $125 an hour! It's everywhere. He tells you, he gives you estimates based off that! In my opinion, that is very reasonable and he told me everything upfront over the phone. He asks the right questions to diagnose your vehicle. I told him I needed valves adjusted. And he took the time to ask the right questions so that he could give me an educated and knowledgeable answer and quote. (Over phone) Lastly, you could tell when a one man show is successful. Success is defined by the passion someone shows in their craft. Anthony is booked and you would have to schedule it all in with him, but all the bikes in the shop was proof that people trust him with their most prized possession. Random stranger at gas station: "Hey man would you let me ride your bike?" Us Riders: "Would you let me f*** your wife?" Well we leave our bikes with strange mechanics all the time. Let's start off by saying it was a HUGE mistake bringing my bike here! I heard about this shop from a few friends and there bad experiences, but I was giving him the benefit of the dought and plus I needed my bike fixed asap! So I have a 1986 Honda rebel that blew the main crank seal oil, it blew cause I blocked the breather hole so it would stop leaking oil (rookie mistake I know) . So the main crank seal blew out due to my mistake, so I drop off the bike and he tells me he charges 125 a hour which I think is Extremeley expensive but once again I wanted my bike fixed asap so I said let's do it, the next day he calls me and says he has some bad news! He said he wasn't able to fix my bike because he couldn't get the flywheel off and even broke some of his pulleys. So I told him ill just pick the bike up and he said it's $250 Now cause he spent extra time trying to take the flywheel off and couldn't do it! So when I pick up the bike he tells me he wasn't able to do the job and he even tried to use a torch to get my flywheel off! At this point I look over at my flywheel and all the magnets are melted off because he used a blow torch! so now my bike won't even start up! My flywheel is burnt to a crisp! I never gave him authorization to use a blow torch on my flywheel! Like comon who the he'll does That!? The correct thing to do here was to call me and tell me he wasn't able to pull the flywheel off Instead of melting all my magnets off with a Blow torch and charging me for a extra hour for damaging my bike! So at this point I'm forced to pay $250 to get my bike back from him even thou he never fixed my bike, he actually damaged it more than what it was! So now not only do I have to still fix my crank oil seal but I also need a new flywheel which is expensive! And I'm also hoping he didn't damage anything else while he was in there torching the he'll out of my flywheel!!!! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN read more

This review is rather long, but I wanted to take time to share my experience. I recently purchased a 2008 Kawasaki C14 with 20K miles on it. After putting an additional 4K miles on the bike, I wanted to get a valve check done, because I wasn't aware if it had been done previously. I was skeptical about taking my bike to just anyone because I didn't want to pay for the "sunshine treatment". After reading the Yelp reviews for this shop, my thoughts were that the comments seemed unbelievable...no one provides this level of service. When I read that photos were provided to customers for any work performed on their bike, I was thinking, "how does this guy make money?" The shop is a little over 2 miles from my house, so I went over to check it out. First impressions mean a lot. The shop was neat and organized. The guy who came out to greet me was very personable. Anthony was not in at the time, but the guy called Anthony to get a quote for the job. Satisfied with the quote, I told him that I would drop my bike off later. Anthony called me later and gave a detailed explanation of how he works. He told me he would call me again after he had disassembled my bike. The design of the C14 makes it a beast to access the engine in order to do even the most simplest maintenance beyond an oil change. I told Anthony that I was in no rush the get the bike back. He was in constant communication with me. He told me about other ways that I could maintain the bike to improve the performance, and I could tell he was not trying to "up-sell" me because I have knowledge of the services he discussed with me. I just didn't have the money. I did have the plugs replaced because he already had access to the engine, and I wasn't aware of how much maintenance had been done by the previous owner. And, I didn't want to pay labor cost to come back in 10 - 15K miles to have plugs replaced. Anthony invited me to stop by to see that work that was being done. When I went over, he took time to explain things about the bike to me. I was thinking that I needed to leave so he could do his job. But, he insisted that he wants to make sure his customers understand their bike and the work he is doing. This level of customer service and attention to detail is unheard of. It's been my experience that mechanics work on your car/bike as if it's top secret. In the end, Anthony ended up repairing a couple of oil leaks around the valve cover, replacing some vacuum lines, waxing the bike, and changing out some mismatched screws on several places around the fairing and windshield. All of this is part of going above and beyond what was expected. On my ride home, I noticed that my bike was no longer popping (like a backfire) when I downshifted. Before it wasn't a concern because I had read on a couple of forums that it could be due to the aftermarket exhaust. After telling Anthony about this, he told me it was probably corrected when he replaced worn vacuum lines. The bike performs so much better, and it looks better than it did when I took it in. Some of the reviews mentioned that his labor is not cheap. I think it's very reasonable when consideration is given to the level of service that is provided. He helped me and my dad a lot. We went in with our bike a little ruffed up and Anthony made it look like a brand new bike. He made sure everything looked how we wanted it to look. Took his time making sure everything worked correctly, making sure nothing was broken or misplaced. Some people may think he charges a lot but the work that he put into my bike begs to differ. This review is definitely past due. I have a 2005 Suzuki GS500F that took a dump on twice, left me stranded on the freeway twice. One day, I searched for a bike shop in the area, I saw the information that said by appointment only but had my bike loaded on my truck already and showed up at Anthony's shop. I called him while I sat in front of his shop, he asked me what was wrong with the bike, asked me the symptoms and suggested small repairs I could have tried to save me some money. (I had YouTubed these already). He saved me a second trip and opened up his shop for me and let me know what my bike needed in no time. I needed my carbs cleaned up, synced, and a valve adjustment. He repaired my bike in no time and hooked me up by doing a few minor things that would only make my motorcycle better. Anthony also recommended a fuel pump for instant fuel delivery, I rode the bike noticed it ran way better but realized why he recommended the installation of a fuel pump, I gave him the green light and had one installed.
