I really hope that I don't have another problem with my scooter down by my dads because I'm severely disappointed (but thankfully alive) after a back axel nut was failed to be put on properly leaving my back tire vulnerable to randomly falling off on the freeway. These people released me an unsafe bike. On my birthday when I picked up the bike from getting a battery replaced it sounded loud as I was leaving as well as felt a bit wobbly. Charlie took it for a test ride and assessed that it was the muffler. I was told that this would not effect performance. I was referred to a welder to get the pipe patched. Not wanting to be stuck in traffic, I elected to go to a welder near my home rather than one local to the shop. The drive back (which I had someone follow me down for) was a bit wobbly. I was very cautious of it. I wondered if it was the wind pushing me that hard or what it was because it was noticeably wobbly. I went straight to a welding shop raved about with unanimous reviews about quality service to get the muffler issue taken care of. Had it just been the muffler, it would have been 25-50 to weld. However upon disassembly of the muffler FOUR mechanics told me the rear axel nut was missing. I have a picture to prove this. The welders told me that I needed to call the shop because that is EXTREMELY dangerous. They told me that the wheel could have fallen off at any time due to not being properly mounted and afixed to the body of the bike. When I called the shop (irate) they first claimed they saw the mechanic put the nut on. This part, when properly placed on the bike, should not fall off unless improperly torqued. The mechanic at the welding shop put a squish nut on my bike in order to make sure I got home properly. He spoke to Charlie to ask how much to torque it so as he did not damage the bolt and Charlie could not give him a proper answer. Charlie then told me he would have someone get the bike and insisted that it be brought back to his shop to get the issue taken care of- free of charge- but that I would have to make arrangements to pick it up when it was done. I did not feel comfortable with that. I said I wanted to have another shop take care of it and for them to take care of the cost. Charlie accused me of trying to extort him. (By the way, this was on my birthday.) On Saturday I called around locally to find the proper axel nut for my scooter. No one had it in stock, and shops that could have ordered it were closed due to it being Saturday. I called Honda that Monday morning to talk to a mechanic about it and get a cost estimate on parts before labor. I also asked Honda to tell me what the proper torque spec was, and researched via the manuals to verify. Due to their failure to put on and torque correctly a simple rear axel nut, the cost of the parts alone is just under $40. Will this shop pay for it? A friend of mine who also rides took me down to Pomona that Monday to discuss the issue. It shouldn't have been that difficult, but it was. It was absolutely miserable. Charlie took great offense to what was being said. I offered to show proof- pictures were taken of the missing bolt. He didn't hear that. He went on to tell us just how many bikes hes worked on in the past. He took everything personal. He said I didn't appreciate the work he had put in on my bike. He acted like I was indebted to him for something. All I wanted was to get my bike fixed. A mistake happened and while it wasn't fine, it needed to be taken care of. The only way that Charlie wanted to accommodate it was the following: 1)he would bring it down to his shop & look at it. then they would fix the problem. i would then be responsible for coming back down to pomona (45 mins away from where i reside in culver city). I didn't feel comfortable with that. I had a friend that was willing to put the proper nut on. I figured we would order the parts and just do it ourselves. After all, even as Charlie said "it's not rocket science to do." I had gotten an itemized list of the cost of parts from Honda Kawasaki of SM. I gave Charlie the parts numbers. He called his own people. When he came back to ask me what the prices were to match, he complained that some of my quotes were a few dollars more than his. I told him he could feel free to call the shop & ask them about the price because that's what it is. I was trying to handle it peacefully. I could have asked him to pay for the tow to NoHo Scooters & the parts & the install. I didn't. I just asked him for the cost of parts. Charlie then told me that he refused to do anything since I would not do it his way. He said that the only option he was going to give me otherwise was to take $45 for the cost of parts, but there was a catch: he insisted I didn't write a review about it. Fast, honest, and reasonable pricing! This is my very first bike. As a shortie, I had a really tough time touching when I was on my bike. I have a 2016 yamaha yzf r3. I brought my Yamie to Charlie and his team. He came highly recommended by o e of my friends. Charlie examined my bike and weighed the pros and cons of lowering my bike. He was very patient with me, especially since I am a new rider. I felt that he was very honest and truly had my best interest in mind. Communication between Charlie and Victoria was excellent. They're very good about always calling back. I never had an issue with this. In addition, the the turn around time was fantastic. I only had my bike in for less than 24 hrs. I say this because my husband's bike has been at Berts for almost 4 weeks. It took them 1 week to even take a look at his bike. Neithertheless, when I went to pick up my bike the mechanic Adam greeted me. He and Charlie explained every change that was made. Overall, my experience has been wonderful. Just came here after shopping around for tires. I will be back if I need anything for my bike. I have a 2002 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom. I needed tires. I searched online and found that I wanted Michelin Commander 2's. I shopped around and Parts411 had the best price by far. They only had the rear tire in stock but said they could order the front and have it by Monday. It was currently Friday. I really needed the back as mine was bald and showing tread(woops) So I went in. Charlie was at the desk. He was very friendly. We chatted a bit about our bikes. He showed me around the garage too which I thought was a nice touch. I told him I'd like to get the rear on now. They put it on in about an hour. He asked if I wanted to order the front. I said sure. They then asked if I wanted to pay for the install of the front now so I didn't have to worry about it later. I said sure. He charged me for everything, installed my tire and I went about my day. Monday about 1pm Charlie calls me and tells me my tire is in. They are only open Mon-Fri 9:30am-5:30pm. I showed up about 4. They had me out of there in about an hour. Such a pleasant experience. My husband and I went in to get his back tire changed. They seemed nice enough. So, they changed it. Then, as they were changing it, they scratched the rim...not a little scratch. A huge scratch. So, my husband informed them of what they did. They immediately got defensive and said they didn't do it. They said he was having an attitude and threatened to remove the tire they already put on. I was shocked. If they at least admitted their mistake and maybe offered to fix it, we would have been fine. But, they were practically yelling at him. That was ridiculous. Your results may vary... Thought I would give these guys a shot since I work around the corner and deal with a lot of cars/motorcycles. I got a quote over the phone to mount 4, 10" ATV tires, the lady told me $46. I normally get wheels mounted and balanced at Nitrous Garage in Pomona...they charge me $10/tire and that includes valve stems. Great deal I know. Anyways I drop off the wheels and tires in the morning, she tells me they will be done by 2pm. I wait until 3:30 to call. They tell me they will be done by 5. Ok fine I'll swing by after work. I get there are 5:15 and they just started on them. Finally around 6pm they're "done". The installer was nice enough, young friendly guy, I liked him, but maybe a little wet behind the ears. I noticed the 30 year old valve stems were still on the rims. I asked him to at least check them for leaks. Sure enough a little soap and water brought out some bubbles. So he ended up replacing 1 valve stem and 1 core. I go inside to pay and, I assume he's the owner, tells me it will be like $86 plus $10 for the valve stem. I was like whaaaaa? I was told $46 over the phone. He calls the girl over (his wife?) and suddenly her story changes..."oh I meant $46 per tire". Right, sure you did. As if anyone would pay $46 per tire to mount tires, without new valve stems even. They weren't even balanced for goodness sake. Anyways, I pay the damn $86 and we start chatting. Owner is a nice guy, I explained the situation and it appeared he was going to AT LEAST waive the $10 valve stem charge. LOL, no he followed me to my car and asked for $5 for the valve stem. I handed him a 5 dollar bill and got the hell out of there. Last time I'll ever go there and I will certainly tell my buds to avoid. read more

The only one motorcycle shop I will ever service on all my collection of Motorcycles. They don't just provide great services but also great prices. And if you do find cheaper prices on line else where, they might match or even beat that price. I have brought all my motorcycles there for service. I have never got mistreated like the other were complaining, there are must be some sort of mis communication. Just ask the staff in Parts411 give you a tour in their workshop. I went in yesterday to buy some gear. I saw their website beforehand and they seemed to have a very wide selection. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately helped by a man named Brandon. I told him what I needed and he showed me what they had. He apologized for the small selection ( hence the -1 star) due to their annual event they had over the weekend in which they havent restocked yet. I purchased one item and the other item i wanted, he told me to find the name of the brand online and give him a call, in which I did and he said he would order it for an instore pick up and cut me a deal. HOW AWESOME IS THAT. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. He also gave me good tips since i said i was just a beginner. Overall, great experience. They will definitely have my business in the future. Charlie and his mechanics (Adam Jesse and Thomas - they only people I usually deal with) are great all the way around. Honest mechanic is usually an oxymoron, but in this case it's the truth. I waited to write a review for years, but I have to give this place props. They get things DONE! First off, service people have to be trustworthy - especially when you're working on bikes. All these guys ride - and I don't mean just for show. DONE! Pricing isn't really that big a consideration for me fortunately - but Charlie's prices are very competitive. He stays updated on the latest price points - bottom line, when I used to shop around and end up at Part 411, I didn't have to keep shopping. I've bought custom parts (high quality materials, and not cheap, but worth every penny IMHO) DONE! Accommodating customers seems to be the usual practice. The shop's always busy with projects and some more involved than others. But when I'm waiting for my turn or getting my work done, I have noticed others roll in and get minor things done so they are in and out. DONE! If you have an idea about what you're looking for, but on the fence for whatever reason, call Charlie and talk to him. You won't be disappointed. He's helpful, down-to-Earth, and knowledgeable a guy as you could want to get advice from in a heartbeat. Parts411- Pomona, CA ~ If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. They charged me $95 bucks off the bat just to do a 5 minute diagnosis (even though I had already told them what I wanted fixed.) Then they called me, gave me a quote. I said nevermind, too much money. When I went to pick up my bike, the front brakes had been taken off. They said they "froze". (The brakes were fine when I dropped the bike off. Plus I never gave them permission to work on anything anyway.) Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled, and they knew it. I asked Charlie? (is that the guys name?) I asked if he could work with me on the $95 diagnosis fee. He refused. He was short tempered, rude and unreasonable. Not cool AT ALL. (Learn some business etiquette buddy.) I tell every biker I know, NEVER go to Parts411. I hope it was worth it. All you had to do was work with me (even a little. Always fantastic customer service by Charlie and Brandon. The anodizing on my PSR levers was wearing off, so I brought the bike in. They kindly replaced the levers: not just the worn parts, but the whole assemblies. And they gave me a cool Parts411 shirt. Far exceeded any hopes I had on the way to the shop. This was my third visit to Parts411 (previously for tire purchase and another for parts). Each time they had reasonable prices and took great care of my bike. I got my tire changed her like two years ago because all of my fellow riders told me they were the best to go to but when I got the rear tire changed on a black rim on my 09 zx6r It was all scratched because they use the tire machine that a car tire shop uses and not the plastic one that most dealers use. And the owner Charlie tells me that it was my fault and I brought it to them how is that possible of the bike was only a month old and never been dropped and have photos to prove it. So I do not recommend this place to any one that wants a nice bike. read more

Charlie (the owner) was a really nice and friendly guy, up until the point where I received my bike back with a HUGE gouge in the front wheel. All of a sudden this nice guy turned into an utterly indescribable prick. Instead of taking responsibility for what the shop had done they got defensive and blamed me for something that was never there before. I went to part 411 worse, don't go there, they are negligence and expensive $120 for a oil change, $75 to pick it up your motorcycle etc...and if your a woman they rip you off and try to sale you everything because they impress you with their knowledge. I spoke with Charly, I took my motorcycle to check it because was seated for 8 months so he recommended oil change and tube the chain but he suppose to check everything and if the bike has something wrong will let me know he has it for 3 days because he doesn't open on the weekends and I pay $120 really expensive just for oil change because he did not check or do nothing else to the bike so I drive home and got overheating Charly was not open to work with me even it was there neglect to don't check I could burn the engine or something worse, now cost me another $200 to repair and waisted my time. After being a customer for almost a year with these guys, its finally time for me to write a review. The first time i came in i asked for the free chain lube service they give. After doing that a couple times i then went back for my gas lines to be replaced and to fix a gas leak on my '06 Suzuki GS500F. I was amazed at how fast they fixed it up for me. I also had to get a tow truck to take my bike there and i wasnt able to get the bike there until around 6:15 pm. Thats 45 min AFTER closing, and Charlie, the owner, actually stayed there until the tow truck could drop it off! Thats definite proof of their customer dedication. I then came back to get my front brakes changed and my tires changed, as well as pick up a new chain and get a chain breaker (i was going to install the chain myself). The service was once again cheap and great. They even replaced a screw on my exhaust which was causing an exhaust leak. Anyways i accidentally broke my chain breaker while trying to cut my chain to size for my bike and they explained what i did wrong and even cut the chain for me on the spot, free of charge! I then went back numerous times to ask them advice on how to work on my bike and they were happy to explain to me what i should and shouldn't do while servicing my bike. I have ordered many parts from them and they always were able to get me the right part, fast! Another great experience i had was this one time my bike was acting up and i couldnt figure it out. I brought it by to buy a tool for the carburetor so i could adjust a screw in it without taking the whole thing apart. They didnt have one in stock so they placed an order for me and used the one in their shop to not only adjust the screw for me, but also figured out why my bike was acting up and helped me out for free. It was a minor fix, took maybe 10 min but thats still pretty cool of them. The last one i could think of was a time i blew a fuse and did not have the money to get another one (yeah, i was that broke). I went by the shop and asked them if they had any spares lying around and they were happy to give me one for free to help me get back on the road. It is for these great experiences that i will continue to bring my business to Parts 411, as well as recommend this shop to everyone. I ordered from Parts411.com and referred customers for years. I took a break for about six years and recently started riding again. A LOT has changed. It appears that satisfying customers is no longer a priority. I ordered a $360 leather jacket through the website and had it delivered to a business address. Apparently UPS does not allow this. So the shipment was returned to Parts411 the day it arrived in New York. So after waiting forever for the jacket to arrive (UPS ground from California), it went straight back to the company (via UPS ground). Brandon, the parts manager assured me that I had two options, both of which would cost more. The first was to wait until it arrived and then pay another $20 to have it shipped back via UPS ground. The second, cancel the order and pay $80 for restocking. As far as the UPS rules go, he didn't know anything about it. The fact that I had never received my merchandise meant nothing to him. He stated that the company charges him a restocking fee and that he is "not going to eat $75, $80 in restocking fees." When I called for the owner or manager's information, Thomas who is the Sales Manager, told me that I would have to send the letter to him and he would relay the message. Having worked in Customer Service for about 15 years, I know that is untrue. Long story-short, I cancelled the order and had my balance refunded and parts411 blocked. I think I'll stick with more reputable companies like Dennis Kirk and Revzilla from now on. read more

It through around 10 shops around the San Bernardino area for quotes on used tires. Its a shame i didnt call parts 411 first i could of saved 30 minutes of my life. They quoted me at 50-60 just to install a rear tire!! Fuck that. Talked to Charlie, nice soft spoken dude. Quoted me at 35 with balance. He also has some used and new tires. Been shopping at this place ever since I moved to Southern California. Havent written a review until today though. Charlie and his team are awesome people. Really nice, and they actually talk to you like real people, not douchebags who treat you as if you don't know anything. Dropped my bike off for service last Tuesday. Had to swap out the chain and sprockets and bleed the brakes. My bike is a 07CBR600RR with over 35K miles on it. It is now running super smooth. Dont be fooled just because it is a small shop. If you like throwing your money away, then this is the place. I was given one price and by the time it was done it cost me double. And the bike was not running any better than when I gave it to them to fix. They do not know how to work on older bikes. It took me a quarter of a year to get my bike back. I tried to give them the benefit of assuming they knew what they were doing, But all I ever got were excuses on why my bike is the way it is. I took my bike to a mechanic that works out of his garage and he found the problem in 1 hr. He changed the vac hoses, now she runs like new. $100 dollars is a heck of a lot cheaper than - Parts 411. I've had a few things done by Parts 411 and every time everything was done perfect. The last thing that they did was a complete motor swap on my '07 CBR600RR. It has been about 6 months and not a single issue with their workmanship. To top it off, Charlie (manager) is a super chill guy and rides with a few of us every now and then. Great customer service. Just took my Suzuki DRZ400SM in for repairs. Had it back fairly quick and the bike is running like a champ now. All of the guys at the shop ride and know their stuff. There's no better place to have work done on your bike, than by guys that all ride. Charlie picked up my bike for me as it was not rideable at the time. Fast pick up time. Fair cost for transporting it. Charlie was very knowledgeable and fairly accurate as to how much the work would cost, estimate wise of course. Received my bike back nice and clean. Brought my Yamaha Bolt R-Spec in for a front tire change. It only took about 40 minutes and they called me right when they were done. The mechanic that day, Adam, told me my rear brakes were worn down and helped me get those switched out same day in about 15mins.
