On June 16, 2026, we visited Ruth's Chris in Coral Gables. As always, we sat at the bar. Isa was our bartender very pleasant and attentive.They brought us the house bread with salted butter, which was fantastic and insanely good. We ordered a Shock Top beer and a Margarita. To share, we had the Spicy Shrimp, which were delicious and cooked perfectly. At 5:30 pm we had the pleasant surprise of seeing Héctor again. On a previous visit he was our bartender, recognized us immediately, and greeted us warmly a very nice and genuine gesture. Only a few staff members were wearing ties (we assume one waitress and two runners). The rest of the team, including the bar, was dressed more casually. In the past the restaurant had a stronger corporate style with ties that added elegance and distinction. For our main courses we ordered the Artisan Chicken Sandwich and the 10oz Prime Cheeseburger. To finish, we had an Espresso Martini, which for our taste was a bit too sweet. Sitting at the bar let us watch the preparation of two different versions of French 75. The restroom area is clean, private, and elegant, matching the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. We used the valet parking service ($15). Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. read more

I went here with high hopes! The stuffed chicken here is my absolute favorite! I brought my sister, who was visiting from out of state, since we were getting our nails done down the street. Initially I figured we'd stop by for happy hour, but when I saw the $60 special on the menu- we immediately knew we were ordering the chicken!!! I mean- there were no doubts At All!! Imagine the surprise ands disappointment when Hector, our waiter, absconded with our menus- saying they no longer offer the special!!! If that's the case- why not uphold the menu selection that we were provided, and let us have the special? It's not as if we were asking for freebies! Such a good experience at this steakhouse, I've visited before at the Fort Lauderdale location and the vibes are always on point. I felt the same experience here- Classy, warm, and just a whole mood. I'm not gonna lie, I'm always a little apprehensive when someone new is taking care of us, especially when I don't know them. But Sol? An absolute doll. So refreshing, and her energy was everything. She made us feel completely taken care of and comfortable the whole night. The food as always you cannot go wrong with your choice, i always go with the Ahi tuna to start and usually share the tomahawk but this time we switched it up. This is a beautiful restaurant. Our experience was very nice. I started with a beautiful glass of Cabernet. Our server Marcos was very nice and "on it". My husband ordered Lamb Chops and I ordered a Filet with Shrimp on top--both delicious. The only thing is that for the expensive price, the Lamb Chops come with no sides--nothing. Great experience for our first time visit! Team was engaging, attentive, and polite. Atomosphere was intimate, dimly lit with modern, sea themed decor. We started off with the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli, these were fantastic, honestly the highlight of the visit. The sauce which tasted like it had a white wine base was so good, our ten year old loved them and she can be pretty picky! Next we got the Porterhouse for Two with a truffle crust, a petite filet, and asparagus, creamed spinach, and potatoes au gratin for sides. STEAKLOVERS! We all try to go out and find the perfect place for a good steak. It had been a while since I came to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for a good chunk of beef. WOW, we walked in and the hostess greeted us very cordially, we were taken to our table where the waiter very amicably greeted us and explained what this restaurant is all about. The seating is very comfortable and the ambiance cozy(perfect for eating) low playing music. My family and I had a wonderful dinner this evening at Ruth's Chris Steak House. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Our waitress, Casey, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding we started with the goat cheese dip and the ahi tuna, and the dip in particular was absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we had the sea bass, filet, and New York strip steak, and every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. To top it all off, we shared the bread pudding and lava cake for dessert both were rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to a great meal. The ambiance was very nice - it seemed like a lot of families picked this place for their Christmas Eve dinner. My son had the steak from the kids menu with fries. He loved it. The kids menu items come with a side and a drink. I had the "Ruth's Classic" which is a Three-Course menu. I picked the Caesar Salad, 6oz Filet with shrimp and a side of asparagus, and the cheesecake dessert. For me, the serving size of this was perfect. Everything else would have been too much. We celebrated a family birthday here the other night. We all ordered variations of their Miami Spice special. Service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the ceasar salad, New York Strip with garlic mashed potatoes, and mini cheesecake for dessert. The salad was good, a very generous portion, and they ground black pepper on at the table for those who wanted it. The steak was grilled perfectly, I ordered it at a medium rare; it was no joke when they said the plate was hot, because it continued to cook my steak as I cut it! It had great flavor, and was very satisfying. The mashed potatoes were OK, there were very stiff to the extent that they were almost dry and were lightly flavored - but I love garlic and think there's no such thing as to much, so that could just be me. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese and sweet potatoes for the table. Both were spectacular. The sweet potatoes were comparable to candy. The lobster mac was very cheesy and had a generous amount of lobster on it. Probably my favorite part of the meal was the mini cheesecake. It was light and fluffy, as far as cheesecake is concerned, was a little sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, and the fruit served with it was the perfect compliment for this portion. An overall satisfying meal that was well presented. There were a few lags in service, which was likely a result of how busy the place was; which I view a a testament to the quality of they're food. read more

I love the food options from crab cakes to shrimp to fish, in case you don't feel like eating meat, they serve delicious complimentary bread. On this particular day I decided to order the lobster tail and mash potatoes, the lobster was perfect had so much taste and not chewy like in some places, the mash potatoes were soft and delicious. Decided to take advantage of the miami spice menu and came with some girlfriends for dinner. It was a great starter to our night. We all got martinis which were delicious. The warm bread and butter were great and the menu for miami spice was perfectly curated with appetizer, entree and dessert. The servings are decent which makes great leftovers for the next day or family style at the restaurant. The waitress was awesome for her recommendations of drinks and different sides to share. My family and I visited on Christmas Day for dinner. We had a 4:45pm reservation and was seated a few minutes after arriving. The restaurant has a pretty classic look but wasn't as upscale looking as I expected. Our server was excellent and ensured we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was quite busy he didn't make us feel rushed. The food was amazing. As appetizers we had the calamari and spicy shrimp. I had the King Salmon and Shrimp as my entree and OMG the salmon just melted in my mouth. We shared the garlic mash and creamed spinach and both were amazing. The kids also stated their food was good. My only reason for giving this 4 stars is because the kids menu stated a drink came with their meal but we were charged separately for their drinks. read more

Tonight we went to the TasteMaker dinner series featuring Casamigos tequila. It was a great event, with good food and drinks. A four course dinner paired with four cocktails. Casamigos was the star of the night, with some rich and bold cocktails. Mixology was right in point, with fresh flavors, great taste, and successful pairing with the food. A more modern presentation of the cocktails, different glasses, big or transparent cube of ice, interesting garnishes, etc would have elevated the cocktails to an entirely different level, but inat their core, the cocktails were great. Food was good, but also very average and simple , with some dishes more well executed and presented than others. All and all it was a great evening, fun, with a lot of good food and drinks. The service very cordial and diligent. We missed the cafe at the end, and of course a shot of the tequila to really appreciate the quality of Casamigos . Loved my dinner experience here! Came for Thanksgiving dinner and they offered the regular menu, as well as a special Thanksgiving menu. The food, especially the steak was so good! Steak was tender, and flavorful. (I still dream about it!) The mac and cheese was a tad overdone, making the cheese hard at the top. Other than that, it was a lovely time! We came here because we enjoy a good steak and have long had Ruth's Chris on our list to patronize. When I saw an ad recently in my Instagram feed for a 3 course offering for $49, that was the encouragement we needed! We came here on a Monday night at around 9, and this place was fairly quiet aside from 2 other tables. One other party did arrive as we were finishing our entrees. This Ruth's Chris location is nice and has been here in Coral Gables for several years, but one can tell from the slightly dated decor that this restaurant isn't new, and may be nearing time for a bit of an update. Staff were all very friendly and outgoing, from the hostess and manager to our server and food runners. The $49 3 course special they're running is a solid value, but is much like the Miami Spice menu at several better-quality restaurants where the basic offering gives you an option of a few starters, a 6 ounce steak with choice of a "personal side" and a dessert of the chef's choosing. You can add things to your entree like shrimp or lobster for an additional price, you can order a larger steak if 6 ounces isn't filling enough and you can substitute the sides or dessert that are listed on the pre-fixe menu, each for an additional, but in my opinion reasonable, cost. I started with the caesar salad, I upgraded to the 11 ounce steak, had the mashed potatoes and we chose to order an additional side as we like sauteed mushrooms. For dessert, rather than the chef's selection I decided to upgrade there as well, and we ordered a bottle of wine to share. Everything we tried here was good, service was spot on and as previously mentioned, staff were attentive and friendly. Markups on the wine here are a bit high, but overall we came away satisfied. It was recently announced that Ruth's Chris would be purchased by Darden, the same company that has Yard House, Seasons 52, Olive Garden and a few other chain places. Maybe they'll upgrade the decor and furnishings here. Let's certainly hope Darden doesn't dilute the things that make Ruth's Chris worth patronizing, or drag down the quality at all. read more

The chef recommendations (for which I appreciate the separate section in the menu) were amazing. The drinks are great as well, mostly the Manhattan, but I do prefer the wine. Although it's a steakhouse, the seafood was amazing and fresh, so I would recommend trying it. Wow! My husband and I just finished having dinner and we were blown away. All of the food was delicious and served hot just the way it should be. Seneca our server was helpful and super friendly as were all of the staff. Francisco the manager came to check on us a few times and you can tell he takes great pride in the restaurant. We ordered cowboy ribeyes, brussels sprouts, loaded baked potato, Caesar salad and wedge salad. All of it delicious! We finished off with a flourless chocolate cake and espressos.
