He also wanted to know if we had any comments on the new dish (4oz steak with stuffed chicken). New dish on the menu, meaning a split dish. The 4oz steak and stuffed chicken was perfect. I think they should give us an option on the tomatoe. I would of preferred portobello mushroom. Especially for the ones that don't like tomatoes. Instead of being $56 maybe it should be $46. I've celebrated a birthday and Mother's Day here thus far; the attention to detail was next level. As an example, they pre-printed the birthday girl's name on her menu - she was so touched and it was an unexpected gesture, which truly made for a nice touch on an already splendid dinner. Prices are on the higher end, but fitting for the quality, taste and share-ability. Portions are generous enough. I always end up ordering way more than necessary, and people often leave with leftovers for later. My personal favorite is the sweet potato pecan/praline. YUMMMMMM. Give it a try if you like sweet potato and a nicely decadent glaze. You can't go wrong with the steak or shrimp here, as well. The filet mignon is divine. I wasn't too crazy about some of the salads and starters I tried, like the Brussel sprouts and house salad. Always best to plan ahead at a steakhouse and this one is no different. I would give 5 stars to the servers, waiters, and most of the workers were great. Hugo and Manny were great. They were friendly, kept checking in on us, and gave great recommendations. The one star is due to the attitude of a manager. We ordered the lobster mac n' cheese and unfortunately my husband bit into a sharp piece of lobster shell. We informed our server, who was very apologetic, and said he would send a manager over. The manager came over, and asked what happened, we informed him about the lobster shell in the mac n' cheese. The manager looked and my husband and coldly asked, "Well are you ok?" My husband said yes and then the manager walked away without an apology. He didn't offer to take the mac n' cheese off our bill. As we were leaving the manager James open the door for us asked how our experience was for dinner. We told him everything was great until the rude manager didn't offer an apology or comp the side dish. James apologized for the manager's rudeness and said he should have taken the mac n' cheese off our bill. I hoped James would have called and comped the side after the fact but he didn't. I'm glad he apologized for his rudeness of his manager and I hoped for a sensible resolution, but so far there's been nothing. I even responded to survey they emailed me after the dining experience and I still have not received a correspondence. I feel that the manager didn't take us seriously because we didn't have the usual look for the typical diners at this establishment. I got Caesar salad as my starter , double chicken breast for my entree, garlic mash for my side, and plastic cheesecake for my dessert. It was well worth it and very good. Everything was made fresh and it was super piping hot, which I love very good flavor and it was just amazing. From my drink, I had a lemon drop and it was made to perfection . Happy hours at upscale restaurants should be fitting for the establishment. The drinks were fine but the dish we ordered would have been more appropriate at a TGI Fridays. I get it. Restaurants draw people in at happy hours with lower cost items. But there should be a higher standard for steakhouses. Especially at well known chains such as RC. We had drinks and their most popular HH dish, the spicy crispy shrimp which was neither spicy nor crispy. The shrimp were small and most likely frozen. The food was solid all the way through! Ordered the lump crab appetizer, french onion soup, 6oz filet and shrimp, garlic mash potato, 16oz ribeye, sweet potato casserole, and cremini mushroom. Dessert was pumpkin pie and ice cream and crème brûlée. Complimentary warm bread and butter provided. Everything tasted fresh to order. The lump crab was sweet and hand made, size of a golf ball, and came on a sizzling hot plate. Both on a sizzling hot plate and appreciated the constant warning of the plate is extremely hot. Food checked everything, however the server we had lacked in multiple ways: no introduction from server, not asking if first time visiting which it was for my mom and me my second time in 10 years , not explaining the menu specials offerings available recommendations or how things worked, timing was off when the main entrees and sides were being brought as the server assistant was not sure if they should serve or not, the server not checking back after 2 bites or 2 minutes and refilled my water was left toward the end of service after I was drinking my moms. The main reason I bring up service as my mom is overhearing how other servers were engaging with their parties and how it differed a bit. In the end I would certainly return as my mom enjoyed her entire experience which matters the most (and wants to come back again), just somewhat surprise with the service receive. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect from the warm welcome to the attentive service. I had been here before for Mother's Day, but it was my husband's first time, and he absolutely loved it. The steaks are tender, tasty, and perfectly cooked to my request (rare). Note, I did remove my steak to my bread plate to assure it didn't cook further on the hot plate it was served on. An added lobster was a good choice! The mashed potatoes we smooth and buttery. The cream spinach paired well with both the steak and potatoes. A mini cheesecake ended the meal. Consistently atop notch place for steaks, salads, sides, desserts, and service here at Ruth's Chris. My party and I were fortunate to enjoy our meal in the private room. Twelve years ago, I came to Ruth's Chris for the first time and it completely changed everything I thought I knew about steak. It was a game-changer. Coming back more than a decade later, I was nervous I had built it up too much in my head, worried it wouldn't live up to the memory. Alas, it was every bit as incredible as the first time. My wife and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here, and from the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The table was decorated with hearts, and the menu was personalized with our names, a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Our server, "Stone Cold Steve" Patrick (he'll get it if he sees this), was outstanding. Friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. We started with the warm, complimentary bread and butter, followed by the French Onion soup (soup of the day), which was the ideal start to a cozy dinner on a cold, rainy night. For appetizers, we had the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Both are fantastic. The Brussels sprouts are roasted, served with crispy bacon and a touch of honey butter that adds just the right amount of sweetness. And the garlic mashed potatoes are exactly what you want next to a great steak: creamy, flavorful, and comforting. For our main course, we shared the Porterhouse for Two, ordered medium. It arrived slightly more on the medium-rare side (still delicious) but the staff insisted on correcting it and returned it perfectly cooked. To make up for the mix-up, they also gave us a complimentary sweet potato casserole, which turned out to be an unexpected highlight. I normally wouldn't think to order it, but it tasted like Thanksgiving. It's warm, spiced, and topped with a crisp pecan crust. As for the steak: it was simply phenomenal. The Porterhouse for Two is Ruth's Chris' signature cut, combining the best of both worlds - a flavorful New York Strip on one side and a tender Filet Mignon on the other, served sizzling on a 500-degree plate to keep every bite hot and juicy (watch the video I posted to hear that beautiful sound). It reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this place in the first place. We paired it with a glass of red wine, expertly recommended by Patrick, and it brought everything together beautifully. I took my little sister to Ruth's Chris in Palm Springs and had such a great experience that we came back a second time with my uncle. The service was excellent, staff was kind and attentive, even though we arrived early. We chose valet, which made things easy since parking can be a hassle. The only small downside was the table size for a party of four, especially with an à la carte menu and a bottle of wine...it got a bit crowded. Everything else was fantastic. We loved the artichoke dip and calamari, and our entrées (stuffed chicken, salmon, ribeye, and filet mignon) were all delicious. The sides mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, and creamed spinach are absolute musts. We finished with chocolate cake, which was good. Dear Manager, I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an unpleasant and troubling experience I had at your restaurant recently. When I arrived, I noticed that the main dining room was nearly empty. However, there was a separate dining area, divided by a wall, where all the guests appeared to be people of color, specifically Black and Hispanic individuals. I was directed by the host to be seated in that separate room. I politely asked if we could instead be seated in the main dining room, given the availability of tables. Unfortunately, the host responded with a noticeably negative attitude, making the interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. This experience gave me the strong impression of discriminatory seating practices, whether intentional or not. Being directed to a separate area under these circumstances was deeply concerning and not in line with the level of fairness and respect that all customers deserve. I hope you take this matter seriously and review both your seating procedures and staff training to ensure that all guests are treated equally and respectfully. My mom and I had a great experience here! Great food, wine and service by our server Patrick - he was awesome. Obviously they are know for their steaks but the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts are the perfect sides and make sure you get the cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake is my favorite, very delicious. I live up in NorCal and will definitely visit this location next time I'm visiting the area! read more

Came here to celebrate my birthday! We were welcomed with some nice confetti on the table and a personalized menu. Nice touches! Our server was Destiny, she was so sweet and took her time to explain the menu and chat with us. Super friendly, would return just for her! My husband ordered the ribeye, medium rare. He liked it, but said it was a bit greasy as there was a bunch of oil on his plate. I ordered the petite fillet with scallops, which was on the seasonal menu. Both were well seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes did not have enough garlic, it was just like normal mashed potatoes. The mushrooms were good but a bit salty. All the dishes were good but nothing extraordinary. We received a complimentary cheesecake for my birthday. This was the perfect end to our dinner :) read more
