Awesome experience! It was really easy to change our reservation from 715 to 830 via open table, when we were running late! The young ladies at the front were very nice and we were seated promptly! Our server Marquis was excellent as were the young ladies assisting him clearing tables! A wonderful surprise:the table was decorated tastefully for my beau's 50th bday! Everything went super smooth! Marquis, our server, was friendly and personable, kind to my 91yrold momma, efficient and had excellent suggestions! Trust him on wine and dessert! Regarding the food: Bread w/flavored butter:10/10 Calamari w/sweet chili 10/10 Filet mignon and ny strip=porterhouse: 10/10 Asparagus 10/10 Potato au gratin 9/10 (a little undercooked) Lavacake:10/10 Banana fosters bread pudding: 10/10 Thank you Fleming's and Marquis for a wonderful and tasty evening for my beau's 50th bday!

We are at this store about once a month and always appreciate it. The team is always so good, the ambiance is classic, and the food is delicious. On the rare occasion a steak was not to our expectation, the are quick to fix. This review is for a recent wine pairing dinner which we loved. We attend whenever we can and this was another gem!

There's structure or street parking to get here. You'll likely have to walk a block or so if you use structure parking. Inside is clean, elegant, and well maintained. They have seating for those waiting for a seat. The staff are nice, friendly, and professional. They always made sure to have the water glasses filled. They have background music that isn't overly loud and is also played in the restrooms. I got the petite filet mignon with the additional mushrooms. It was delicious and cuts like butter. I wasn't sure how hungry I was entering but I easily finished this. I also got mashed potatoes and crab cakes to share. The crab cakes were well seasoned and flavorful. Mashed potatoes were what you expect. I also got the chocolate lava cake. The server informed us it takes 20 minutes to prepare which they let you know early. It was rich and warm. The cookie addition was great. Overall it was a nice experience. Definitely worth a try. I'd return again to try more of the menu.

I made dinner reservations online for a Sunday evening. We parked in the structure next to the restaurant which offers a flat rate of $10 on Sundays. After checking in, we waited a bit to be seated. Our waiter, Chris, was awesome and had great energy. We were started off with complimentary bread served with two spreads, the bread was warm and the spreads were tasty. I ordered a Caesar salad, they add the cheese and fresh pepper right at your table. I also ordered the chipotle mac and cheese and the calamari, I wish the calamari was more crispy and it was a bit cold. Overall, it's a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday or graduation.

Oh.. MY.. GOODNESS! I love how it's so luxury yet casual at this location. I was serviced as soon as I sat down by the bar. I ordered my regular, my dirty martini double. The bartender was splendid, very conversational and polite. Left the bar feeling magnificent! I would go back because there's so many entrees that I would like to try. This round I just settled for the lamb chops paired with the ratatouille. The lamb chops were well seasoned and well cooked, medium well. Nice, tender and juicy. First lamb I tried! Would 100% come back here again.

I would've given 5 stars, but our waiter was SO SLOW throughout our dinner. Even when we asked for the check, it took 20 mins for him to come back. After he took our payment, it took another 10 mins to come back with our card. Other than the slow service, the food was really good. My filet was cooked perfectly and the truffle butter was AMAZING! I didn't really care for the pave potato's though. The brussel sprouts were also okay.

Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and honestly had an amazing experience! Every other restaurant in the area, including this one had an extremely huge crowd, but the staff worked accordingly and we didn't have to wait long for our reservation at all. We got started off with a complementary bread and butter basket and honestly, it was perfect. Very basic bread, but it was nice and warm, and the butter was nice and salty. For my main I got the 11 oz main fillet. It was cooked perfectly, medium and not too tough. For the sides we got the mashed potatoes and the chipotle mac & cheese. Both are absolutely delicious and I like how the chipotle flavor wasn't too overpowering. We got the chocolate lava cake to finish and it was so delicious. It came with a side of ice cream and tasted like it had a bit of sea salt flakes on it. Overall, our service here was amazing. Our server was beyond helpful and so pleasant. Please be aware they don't take apple or any form of tap payment. The parking situation can be a bit difficult if there isn't any available right out front.

*** 8Th Grade Promotion Luncheon *** Our son selected Flemings in Pasadena for his celebration due to the continued 5 star customer service over the past 7 years. Maria and her staff, Keon, Chris, Dereck, and Jonathan were just amazing. We had a party of 30 and all food was served at the perfect time. The filet with shrimp was excellent. Keon took everyone's order and all orders were correct. His skills and delivering several dishes at once was amazing. Jonathan at the bar assisted with keeping up with the drinks because of the demand of great drinks such as Spicy Margaritas and Old Fashions. Everyone who attended could not stop talking about the great service, tasty food, and great drinks! I highly recommend Flemings for all your future celebrations including large party events! You will not be disappointed!

Came here for happy hour drinks before dinner to celebrate my graduation. Service was pretty good and vibes felt celebratory. I have to say though that typically Flemings makes the best dirty martini I have ever had, and last night there was definitely something a bit off about it; not as strong and a bit less flavorful than usual. Still had a great time though!

I used to be a regular customer at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and would dine there multiple times a week prior to COVID. Unfortunately, after yesterday's experience, I probably won't be returning. Not only are the prices nearly double what they used to be, but the service no longer matches the premium dining experience the restaurant claims to offer. I chose to sit at the bar and dine alone. While the restaurant was not overly busy, I couldn't help but notice the staff giving overwhelming attention to a gentleman seated next to me who appeared to order a single drink. The entire staff was loudly carrying on conversations with him throughout my meal, to the point where it felt more like a sports bar atmosphere than an upscale steakhouse. Meanwhile, my own meal and drink totaled around $150, yet not once did anyone check on how my meal was, ask if I needed anything, or provide even basic attentive service. I felt like an afterthought sitting at the bar despite spending significantly more. I understand hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, but the dynamic was hard to ignore. The loud, overly familiar interaction happening beside me completely took away from what should have been a refined dining experience worthy of the price point.

    Tomahawk Tuesday for Two
    Melissa O.

I know I made a good decision when I end up at Flemings. Came for tomahawk Tuesday. Such a good deal. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. And can't go wrong with chipotle mac and cheese. I could eat that every day! Had the Flemings salad to start, some asparagus and carrot cake for dessert (to go cause I was stuffed). Service here is always top notch. Ask for Amber or Sarah. They are the sweetest! Be back soon!

    Karen F.

Held an event here in the summer, so earned some rewards points that I needed to use up asap, so we came to eat some steak! The service was amazingly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Came out fast and everything was big enough to share; they split the salad directly in the kitchen for us and sliced up the steak so we'd have an easier time sharing. They de-shelled the lobster directly at the table. And, I finally got to try the corn brûlée; so good! Also matched well with the bread. We were too stuffed for dessert, but the corn hit the dessert itch, so we left happy. Can find parking around city hall, or they validate for the structure behind them; not free, but a small fee.

    Fun decorations for celebrations!

Night out with the boys for Tommy Tuesday! We arrived early for our 7:45pm reservation and the restaurant was poppin'! I would suggest making a reservation. Aeric was our server that evening and he was phenomenal! He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he catered to our every need! Amazing hospitality! Now let's get to the MEAT! Although it was Tomahawk Tuesday, we opted for the Sliced Porterhouse and upgraded our 6oz filet to an 11oz filet (yes, you can do that) because we were in the mood for leaner cuts. We also started with the French Onion Soup & Lobster Bisque (included in the special). We had to get the Fleming's Potatoes, which are their version of scalloped/au gratin potatoes and they were FIRE! We also went with the Chipotle Cheddar Mac & Cheese and added the Roasted Asparagus! Steak was bomb! Service was bomb! Ambiance was bomb! And drumroll people...dessert was BOMB.COM!!! Don't miss out on the Lava Cake and the Carrot Cake! Just make sure to order the Lava Cake in advance because it takes about 15 minutes to bake! If you're looking to treat yourself to an amazing steak dinner, come for Tommy Tuesday and request Aeric as your server, you'll be well taken care of with a happy belly!

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

    What is the dress code?

    Business casual

We have an infant that's 3 months, does the restaurant allow strollers and/or car seats inside?

It's not a child friendly restaurant. I've been there a couple of times and not once have I seen a child under 15 eating there.

At Fleming steak house what means shareable sides?

Side dishes big enough to share with your date or group for dinner. Like potatoes or Mac n cheese.

    Is there a dress code?

Yes, smart casual. Not too strict but would avoid ripped jeans/hoodies.

Where do we park? Can we use the 177 parking lot?

There is a parking structure behind the restaurant.

What is the current info on happy hour? I hope its back!

You don't there for Happy Hour You go there for a Great Steak & Lobster Dinner w/ Sides

    What's the corkage fee?

It's $25 each for the 1st and 2nd bottle; and then $50 each for the 3rd and 4th bottle. You can bring a max. of 4 bottles total.…

Would I be able to order a burger dining in at the bar?

Yes, you will be able to.

Does the bar serve the full menu?

    Yes they do.

Can you accommodate a group of 25 in one of your private rooms?

Yes they can.. you need to call the restaurant for arrangements 626 639-0490

I will be attending a special event there, where is your handicapped parking? There are no…

There are handicapped parking spaces in front of restaurant on Colorado Bl.

Do you need Reservations for tonight?

Reservations are preferred, especially on the weekends because it gets busy; however, they do accept walk-ins as well, but you may have to wait. The bar top is open seating and the full menu is available there.

Valet service? If not what is the best place to park?

No valets that I know of but there is parking in the lot they are adjacent to. Very convenient

Question for the Flemmings yelpers is it worth the money? When youve ate here have you came back? Ive been to the bona vista lounge the food was horrible! Pricey as it gets but the 34th floor rotation sky night view was worth it.Not the food.

If they offer Tomahawk Tuesday at your location, quantity and quality of food is good for the price. It feeds more than enough for 2 people: salad choice for two, two sides, tomahawk and two desserts.…

Does Flemming's release reservations in blocks? I am trying to make an online reservation for next month and it only shows 4 weeks out from today.

Hi Michelle - in this case, we recommend contacting your local Fleming's by phone for reservation information!

Do we have to be vaccinated to eat indoors?

No, but you do need to wear a mask in the lobby and while walking through the restaurant.

Do you still have Happy Hour?

At this time, we are not offering happy hour.

Is the outdoor patio covered? We have reservations on Thursday but it's supposed to rain.

Yes, the outdoor patio is covered.

Do you still do the Tomahawk Tuesday special?

Yes, we do! Every Tuesday :). You can enjoy on the patio or order for curbside pickup.

I see they are open for dining outdoors. Does this include happy hour?

We are not offering happy hour at this time.

The rooftop patio seating was closed last night. Lesson learned: even if reservations aren't easily made online, it's worth a phone call ahead of time to try to make one. Beautiful inside with two separate downstairs areas and one upstairs. Don't approve of the large TVs in the bar area but the sound was off at least. Once we were seated (and by the way, the hostesses were super friendly and hospitable), Joe was our helpful server. We ordered a Last Word and a Negroni with brussel sprouts to start with. The drinks were ok, the brussel sprouts were super tasty and well charred. Next we ordered the pork chop and chicken skillet. I wanted to order the peri peri chicken but they were out of it. We also ordered a boulevardier and espresso martini. The pork and chicken were so tender and flavorful! My espresso martini tasted like a smooth liquid dessert . Very loud inside. Made a reservation about an hour before, so when we got there we were seated immediately. After a quick glance at the drink menu, had to get the Mai Tai with lilikoi foam on top. So delicious. Had my first lilikoi foam in Maui and I love that I'm starting to see it around Los Angeles now. Adds such a punch of flavor to an after we balanced drink. For food, we started with the bacon deviled eggs and shrimp taquitos. Those deviled eggs were lightly fried, which was different, then had apple wood smoked bacon on top, just a really tasty bite. The shrimp taquitos were also not what you would expect, nice and light but still very good. Entrees we went with the center cut fillet and the prime rib dip with swiss cheese on a brioche bun. That sandwich just melts if your mouth after dipping it in the jous, and the cheese was the perfect accompiament. The fillet was cooked perfect as well, coming out medium rare. Overall, great restaurant in Pasadena. Definitely get the Mai Tai, Devine eggs and prime rib dip. Taquitos were good and, if you're feeling like another hg er appetizer, definitely a way to go . The fillet, also great but I feel you can get it anywhere.

The offerings rarely change, and while reliable, there is nothing truly extraordinary or memorable standing out in the flavor profile. Ambiance: The atmosphere is the main draw here. It is comfortable and inviting, making it a great backdrop for a casual outing. Service: The service is a bright spot--friendly, attentive, and consistently good. Overall, it is a pleasant, dependable neighborhood restaurant that is worth visiting for the vibe and good service, even if the menu keeps things safe and familiar.

We decided to spring for valet parking for $8 but then realized there's 2 hour street parking for free just beyond the hedges in front of the restaurant afterwards. Oh well, it was a special occasion. We were seated right at 6 (the time of our reservation). The hostess also made sure we knew our server's name and brought us ice water. (You can choose bottled or tap). Our server's name Jennifer was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered the horseradish crusted salmon and the steak frites and our friends ordered the truffle mushroom tagliatelle and the filet mignon. We were all extremely happy and satisfied with our entrees. The portions are perfect. No doggy bags needed and no room for dessert. I really enjoyed the broccolini that accompanied my salmon--it was cooked just enough to retain a little crunch. The savory sauce on the salmon was subtle and complimentary to the flaky fish. We sat in the bar room of this restaurant that used to be a house. The patio looked lovely too, especially on a summer evening so maybe we'll choose that next time. Because you can bet there'll be a next time!

Tonight's dining experience was, unfortunately, a disappointment…read more The Seared Jumbo Scallops were anything but "jumbo." They looked nothing like the photos other diners had posted on Yelp. More concerning, they didn't appear to be cooked properly, a little bit on the raw side --or perhaps they simply weren't fresh. The appearance alone was enough to make me lose my appetite. Overall, the food was overpriced for what was served, and several dishes were excessively salty. The Charred Octopus, for example, the salad on this dish was overwhelmingly salty and lacked the balance I expected. Service also seemed to suffer. It appeared the restaurant might have been understaffed, as there was only one server greeting guests, seating customers, and taking orders. While the server worked hard, the lack of staffing was noticeable and affected the overall dining experience. My friends also ordered the fish, but the skin was far from crispy, which was disappointing for a dish at this price point. To make matters worse, we were looking forward to ending the meal with dessert, but the dessert called: Tropical Fruit Panna Cotta, Tea Cookie, and Passion Fruit Sorbet was unavailable. With most entrées averaging around $50, we expected a much higher level of quality and execution. The Seabass with Sauerkraut was priced at around $50, but in my opinion, it simply didn't offer the value to justify the cost. The only thing I truly appreciated was that the restaurant offered a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, they had run out of birthday candles, so even that special touch was missing. Sadly, this meal did not meet our expectations in terms of food quality, value, or overall experience. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends. Perhaps this was just an off night, but we left disappointed and have no plans to return.

We ended up at Magnolia House for a late lunch/early dinner. They also serve breakfast/brunch only on weekends. Walked in around 4:30pm and we were greeted by Brian, one of the managers. Brian was the standout star of the whole experience! His energy was exceptional and he is such a great conversationalist. He checked on us several times throughout our meal and made sure we were doing well. He on his own was HANDS DOWN a five star human being. At first, he wanted to seat us in the back corner but I told him the table was too small and he accommodated us with a bigger table. Our server Kiana came up to the table with a pleasant smile and greeting to take our drink orders. I got a glass of cranberry juice along with some water. My son got the American Dream cocktail along with some water. We skipped on dessert. From 4-6pm, they have a happy hour menu with some of their cocktails and shareable plates. The portions are just a bit smaller and the prices are a little lower. It's a good way to sample different items. I think we got a good variety of food to enjoy. To start, we got the Little Gem Salad. It was such a unique combination of flavors and SUPER delicate/light. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The next starter was the Zucchini and Feta Fritters, which was good but not the best out of everything else we ordered. The zucchini was a bit mushy but the batter it was fried in was crispy. Another starter we shared were the Moroccan Spiced Chicken Wings. These wings are gigantic and very flavorful. They definitely pack some heat, so be careful. I don't think the A/C was NOT working to begin with, so the place was already hot. The wings made us sweat even more. For entrées, we got the burger and the pork belly. Brian said they are known for their burger and after taking the first bite, it's clear as to why. It was absolutely PERFRCTION. So delicious! The bun, the meat, the cheese, the onions, and the crispy bacon...all of it mixed together into the perfect burger. I had wanted to add some mushrooms and avocado to it, but Kiana said they were unable to do it. I also asked for lettuce and she said that would be an extra charge. What extra charge for lettuce? We still got charged for avocado when the bill came, but they took it off once we mentioned it. The pork belly was also very tender, flavorful, and crispy. It's just hard to compete with the burger! We also got an order of the Belgian Fries to share and we were both pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The fries are salty and cut pretty thick. The sauce that came on the side was so yummy. We asked for a small extra cup to-go. All in all, the food was great and we liked everything. The vibe of the restaurant wasn't really all that for me. Brian genuinely made up for anything that was lacking in the atmosphere. He is such a wonderful asset to the restaurant and their company. The restaurant itself has been here for about 15 years now and it used to be a very old house. You can tell when you look around. They did a good job with the renovations, but you can see the different areas/rooms. I think they tried to keep the casual comfort of a home, while making it a slightly elevated experience. It was very clean everywhere, especially the bathrooms. They have one gender neutral bathroom, one for men, and one for women. No private parking, so you'll have to park on the street and put money in the kiosk. They also had an outdoor seating. Pretty BIG, only took picture of one side. They also have 2 small TVs. In the bar area and inside their cute lounge. I normally like to try new places, especially when I'm in Pasadena, so I'm not sure if I'll come back here. Maybe if Brian is working, it would definitely be worth stopping by again! Thank you all..

LATE REVIEW…read more Finding little neighborhood gems when it comes to food has always been an exciting experience for me. Having family alongside makes the journey more special. We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here. The restaurant's ambiance was the perfect combination of homey and inviting. It is a smaller place and the number of tables are limited so I highly suggest making a reservation when dining here. During our dinner, it was a bit difficult to have a full blown conversation as the place was packed with guests when we came plus the loud background music that was playing the whole night. Service and food were nothing but amazing! Their menu is very limited. Maybe not everyone will appreciate that, but I think it is more intentional on what is being served to the table. Our highlight of the night was the Grandpa's Pan Roasted Duck Magret Au Poivre for sure. It was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outer edges! We never had a meal like that elsewhere and we will for sure be back just because of it.

Dishes tried: - Sourdough bread and bbq butter, solid for a bread dish, butter is definitely unique, reminded me of Lay's BBQ chips in a good way - Grandma's Risotto w/ prosciutto, okay for me? Prosciutto was a supplement here and needs it imo for that oomph, otherwise a fine risotto dish but would pass unless it speaks to you - Barnyard Bolognese - a bit underwhelming to start, just too one-note for me, but it eventually grew on me and would get it again if I wanted a rich pasta - Duck Magret Au Poivre - easily my favorite dish here and what I would come back for and recommend for people, tender duck with the right amount of fat and a great sauce. Fries are a bit thicker than I would like, but still enjoyed it. - Seasonal apple pie - more of a danish if I had to describe it to someone, but nice texture and more importantly, not too sweet!
