I stopped by this location this evening for Social hour bad idea. Horrible idea. The customer service at the bar suck. There a huge gathering in f some sort of in the side rooms. Maybe that played a part in the food taking long . I ordered a glass of wine , friend goat cheese lballs with honey drizzle ( no honey to taste) which one of the bartenders spoke to me in a very rude manner when I told him there was no to little honey... it's some right there a drop in the corner of the dish but not enough to taste to balance the strong taste f the cheese. After been spoken to in such a manner I requested to cancel the rest of My order I was told it was too late. So I request it to go. Trying my best to be a pleasant customer and take the high road. Mind you the food didn't come out for another 15 to 20 minutes. In the meantime the female bartender whispers to the manager who in turn looks at me. The food steak and fries were brought out in a to go container. When I reached home what I was given as unseasoned steak swimming in grease. I was not only treated bad but I was given food I could not eat. $60 down the drain. I asked do you accept Apple Pay. Not really you need to have the physical card I do have the physical card I just rather use the Apple Pay method. The female bartender brings over the machine I tried paying with the physical card and she says no you need to use your phone.... I pull my card out again and she ask will it go through . Awesome experience! It was really easy to change our reservation from 715 to 830 via open table, when we were running late! The young ladies at the front were very nice and we were seated promptly! There's structure or street parking to get here. You'll likely have to walk a block or so if you use structure parking. Inside is clean, elegant, and well maintained. They have seating for those waiting for a seat. The staff are nice, friendly, and professional. They always made sure to have the water glasses filled. They have background music that isn't overly loud and is also played in the restrooms. I got the petite filet mignon with the additional mushrooms. It was delicious and cuts like butter. I wasn't sure how hungry I was entering but I easily finished this. I also got mashed potatoes and crab cakes to share. The crab cakes were well seasoned and flavorful. Mashed potatoes were what you expect. I also got the chocolate lava cake. The server informed us it takes 20 minutes to prepare which they let you know early. It was rich and warm. I made dinner reservations online for a Sunday evening. We parked in the structure next to the restaurant which offers a flat rate of $10 on Sundays. After checking in, we waited a bit to be seated. Our waiter, Chris, was awesome and had great energy. We were started off with complimentary bread served with two spreads, the bread was warm and the spreads were tasty. I ordered a Caesar salad, they add the cheese and fresh pepper right at your table. Unfortunately, after yesterday's experience, I probably won't be returning. Not only are the prices nearly double what they used to be, but the service no longer matches the premium dining experience the restaurant claims to offer. I chose to sit at the bar and dine alone. While the restaurant was not overly busy, I couldn't help but notice the staff giving overwhelming attention to a gentleman seated next to me who appeared to order a single drink. The entire staff was loudly carrying on conversations with him throughout my meal, to the point where it felt more like a sports bar atmosphere than an upscale steakhouse. Meanwhile, my own meal and drink totaled around $150, yet not once did anyone check on how my meal was, ask if I needed anything, or provide even basic attentive service. I felt like an afterthought sitting at the bar despite spending significantly more. I understand hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, but the dynamic was hard to ignore. The hostess gave us roses for our anniversary and had our table set up so beautifully. Jean was our server. From top to bottom we were taken care of and they were very thoughtful with their recommendations. I took my mother out for a steak dinner on her birthday last month, and not only was the food amazing and expertly prepared but our waiter was extremely patient and helped make my mother's special day one of the best she's ever had. We were here for a group dinner and we waited a 1/2 hour past the reservation time to me seated. This wasn't a 4 top, you have to have plans for groups this size. Eh, maybe not. I ended up with a prime dry age rib eye (the best cut of steak), but it was $70 for just the steak. I can get a prime rib eye for $20-ish per pound so 3.5x is a pretty decent mark up. Then tack on the costs for the veggies as well, and the 3x mark up for wine, and you are $100+ over the cost of a, honestly, just an OK steak. read more

We went to celebrate my sisters 18th year marriage anniversary. We had a reservation for four of us and the wait was maybe 10 to 15 minutes for our table to be ready. Me and my wife got there early so they didn't catch a couple of happy hour drinks before my sister and brother-in-law got there. The manager stopped by and asked how the food was how the service was and if there was anything he could do for us to let him know. Not many times you'll see a manager busing tables and taking the time to talk to the customers. I thought that was great that he did all that to help out his waiters and busboys. We are planning a trip next year to Japan and we are telling Marquis our waiter that we'd be going next year. He said he had just gotten back and stood there for a while and showed us some pictures and talked about some of the things we could do out there. The whole experience, the ambience the food and the service was first class all the way. This was probably our second or third time eating at this location since we usually eat at the Anaheim location next to Disneyland. Me and my wife will definitely be going back to the Pasadena location and hopefully we can get Marquis as our waiter. Usually when you go to a steakhouse on Saturdays, it's crowded. It's busy, and it's loud. I know it's hard to get personalized service, but on this Saturday it wasn't. All in all it was a very enjoyable dinner and a very enjoyable experience. This was my first time dining at Flemings and OH MY GOODNESS. It was so delicious! The salad was so yummy and refreshing! The steak was perfect and cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes and asparagus?? DELICIOUS. Flemings left a very good first impression. The chocolate gooey cake was really rich so if you are a chocolate lover it would be good for you to try.
