Great spot! Hosted a happy hour event here for my alumni group and the staff (particularly Rose) was so helpful to making it happen. The Crush Pad is actually part of Jones, except Jones closes at 5pm while The Crush Pad stays open till 8pm. It's a bit confusing since there aren't any signs but you are at the right place! You can order wine, beer, and kombucha on tap. I tried the sour beer and coffee kelsh... both were so good! I was going to order a kombucha but I missed it. Have to come back to try. You can also order a whole pizza at the counter which will be brought over from next door. If you want slices, you'll need to walk over next door. Ambiance is really great. Good spot to grab a drink since there are a lot of space (inside and outside) Another plus is that The Crush Pad is right across the street from the A line (Filmore station) and there is a lot of street parking too

I was introduced to the Crush Pad through a friend of mine . We met for drinks and to catch up due to hectic work schedules. The crush pad offers wine (single glass or flights ) kombucha , beers . It is in a really cute warehouse like atmosphere shared with a coffee shop (Jones coffee) and a pizza shop (window ) . They offer live music jazz 1-3 pm on the weekends. The crush pad is opened until 8 pm. There is a parking lot or street parking both free. I ordered the flights and my friend order a large glass of Chardonnay . Service was fantastic, the music they play (fantastic) not loud but where you can enjoy it . The prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back .

Wine and beer flight was great. Nice ambience, chill vibes. Cool art on the walls.

They recently opened a tasting room in Highland Park, so I stopped in to check it out. The tasting room is quaint & cozy. They offer three curated tastings: Monthly special ($27), Reserve ($40) or Library ($20) or you can order by the glass. I selected the Library Tasting. I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of reds but these were excellent. My tasting consisted of a Grenache (2017), a Syrah (2017), Alicante Bouschet (2017), & Evenfall (2016). Each one was well balanced, the notes were lovely, and the finish was smooth. During my tasting I had a wonderful conversation with Al & Mark. Al recently started working here, and she has amazing energy. Mark is also very personable and enthusiastic about his wine. He let me try some of the Anonymous, which is a secret blend and listed as "Origin & Vintage Unknown." It was fantastic! After trying Byron Blatty Wines, I'm now a fan of reds. I even bought a bottle to take home. I will most definitely be back to enjoy more of these delicious wines and an enjoyable conversation with Al.

Also poor internet service up here, so I'm not a fan. I arrived without a reservation and it was fine. They offer the outdoor patio and even noticed a private event taking place. They also have indoor seating with tables and sofas. I spent the majority of my afternoon inside as I was avoiding the heat. Pricey here for a flight of red wine four types; $59 but my fault for going with all reds! They are top tier. Flight wine Saddlerock: Syrah, Cab, KOM, and Res Cab. Syrah was the n the dry side and not as sweet. Still good. The KOB was a combination and it was delicious. That was my fav. I also bought water for $5 but it's a big bottle of sparkling water; Not tap. I also had two rounds of IPA beer: both were really good in my opinion. "Pliny the elder" by Russian river IPA and "food fight" by common space. Glass was $10 each 16oz Lastly, I ordered a charcuterie cheese and crackers which was $28 the board itself was very cute and decorated nicely. Overall, this place can be pricey but I was there to hang out, explore their menu and drink so it worked out for me in the end.

The staff here are fantastic - friendly & knowledgeable about their wines and they will pour you a glass with enthusiasm. My friends are members here, so I joined them one evening. Zochi helped us choose our selections, and she is darling. I started with a glass of the Alonso Family Vineyard Gold Line - an orange wine made with Moscato & Albarino grapes. When I hear the word Moscato I automatically think sweet, but this was dry with tropical notes. I also had a glass of the Meadow Rose, which was made from Graciano grapes. This rosé was dry & crisp with a light bouquet. I enjoyed both and signed up for their newsletter so I can be informed of special releases & events. Small parking lot or parking across the street. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. The wine tasting was beautifully curated, and the staff did such a great job walking us through each pour, sharing helpful details, and making the whole experience feel relaxed but still elevated. Every question we had was answered with ease, and the pacing was spot-on. Dinner was just as impressive. Our table shared the chicken, steak, and salmon, and every single dish was outstanding. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and rich, and the salmon was beautifully prepared--fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Sharing everything family-style made it even better because we got to try a little of everything, and honestly, there wasn't a single miss. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. We felt genuinely taken care of the entire evening, and it made the night feel special. This is the kind of service and dining experience that makes you want to come back immediately--and bring friends. Highly recommend for a wine tasting, date night, or special occasion. I like that people could bring their dogs and let them walk around, but in the back of my mind I was worried about stepping on someone's paw or in a puddle of #1. Luckily that didn't happen. The owners are really nice said they're expanding so that's great news. They have a nice selection of wine. On their paper menu. Customer service was excellent. One of the bartenders spent time chatting with us.
