I live in the Sacramento area and have been retired for several years. I decided I would like to purchase and rv and travel the US for a year or so. I really hated the idea of going from lot to lot to locate an rv that I felt might be suitable for my needs. I decided I wanted something small and maybe with the mercedes engine. I'm kind of a computer geek and decided I would shop online first. I tried to read all reviews and ratings of the local dealerships to kind of see what I might be dealing with. A lot of negative and bad reviews out there. I located a few rvs I might have had interest in though a little gun shy due to the reviews the dealerships had. I was following one dealerships inventory in Auburn that seem to turn over their product pretty quick. There was a couple that may have worked for me that were sold before I could make it to their lot. I have done lots of research over the past few months and decided that I will probably only buy from them. The dealership is rv connection in auburn. I decided to make the drive up to their lot and check them out. Boy was I impressed. They didn't have what I wanted but what a vast knowledge of information they had for me. They didn't have many rvs though I know by watching their website they go thru alot. All their inventory was very clen. I dealt with the son Glen jr. and later his father Glen. Very pleasant people. They are partners in the family business and I can see why they are so successful. What drove me to go there was their reviews. They had "0" negative reviews of customers that had purchased from them. None. I searched all the sites I could find and the buyers rated them 5 stars. There were a couple of negative ones that didn't purchase there but after meeting them I would say are probably fictitious postings. I feel they dealt with me as a friend first and a buyer second. I felt it wasn't just my money they wanted. I have not made a purchase yet and I will wait until they come across just the right one for me. This is a reply to Patrick G's recent review on Yelp. He and his wife arrived on our lot and was at a time that we were very busy and had several customers we were helping with. He made it real clear that he was a wealthy buyer and needed a sales person to hang on his shirt tail to guide him thru the one motorhome he came to view. He was told he could check the unit out and if he had any questions feel free to ask. He said they had been looking for awhile and again let us know that they were indeed a "wealthy" buyer. Within a few minutes he indicated he would like to drive and compare our motorhome to the many others he had driven. I shared with him what our test driving policy was. I did ask him if he liked the way it drove was his intentions to follow thru with the purchase. He indicated he was just comparing at this time. I indicated to him that due to liabilities we would not be willing to take this 40 ft. diesel motorhome out on the road only to satisfy his curiosity on how it drove. This angered him and again let me know that he was a very wealthy retired individual and got very abrasive with his language. We are just a small little RV dealership trying to etch out a living in a very competitive market. Our policy is to give our potential buyers their space and let them shop and be around to answer any questions they may have. We pride ourselves on our customer relationships. This is the first time one has openly tried to flaunt their wealth and then to leave such a distorted account of what really went on. Where to begin.... Ill keep this short as I can. This guy Glen (the owner apparently) is without a doubt the worst person/salesman I have ever to deal with. We had found a pull trailer that we liked and made him a offer, And a very reasonable one at that. At that point his response "I told you what the price is, if that doesn't work for you I don't know what THE "F" I can do for you !! Who.. I ask again, WHO, talks that way to a customer? We said thank you and walked to our truck !! As we were walking even more fowl language was spewing from this NUT'S mouth..wow, I have never ever seen anything like this before, Were were both concerned because he had all our private info already, As it turned out he then called a couple days later and started in again to me on the phone ! We reported this to the BBB... (I know big deal) and also the DMV, who said that there was nothing they could do because he hasn't violated a DMV law. BUT here is the interesting thing... They did say that they have had similar complainants about this guy and the RV Connection in Auburn, Ca before and all they could say was just don't go back there. and that's right from the Sacramento, Ca DMV head office that one call's about complainants !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREEP ! He needs to be sued for harassment and shut down !! read more

You will not find a better RV dealer than Glen. We checked out the unit, told him we wanted to buy it, and (with a Covid elbow bump instead of a handshake) it was ours. Paperwork followed so we went to lunch. On our return he reported that a fellow who had looked at our unit the day before called to make an offer higher than our deal and did so before we left the parking lot on our way to lunch. 'No deal, it is sold.' Before the transfer of title he goes through everything to assure all is working, a two day process. I got a call a few days later about problems with the A/C. He told me the $ it would take to fix it and immediately dropped the price by that amount. (I could have left it with him to fix). When we picked the unit up his daughter, a delightful lass, spent almost two hours showing us how to operate everything in the RV. This is a small family business. My preference in every case. The wife is the webmaster. I think there is only one other employee, which keeps their overhead very low. These are great folks who will treat you right at every turn. Five stars are not enough for these folks. You cannot do better that them. Posted by a VERY satisfied customer. read more

We just completed our 2nd business deal with Rv Connection. We consigned our motorhome with them and they sold within three weeks and we got paid the day after the sale as they had promised. Their offer was thousands more than other local dealers were. We liked the family type atmosphere that they offered. We had several friends in our local community recommend them. We liked our old motorhome it was just too big for us to drive now. My wife spotted a smaller unit on their website. When we consigned the unit we dealt with father Glen sr. We called and talked to Glen jr. on the smaller one. We decided to go in and take a look and it was just what we had been hoping to find. It was easy for my wife to drive and we could still go camping with our club members. We feel that the company went beyond our expectations to meet our need on the consignment as well as our purchase. We couldn't have more pleased. I had been looking for an RV for about a year now searching the internet. I found one that had been listed on RV Trader. It was a Winnebago and the model my wife and I had been looking for. We contacted rv connection with several questions we had. They were very helpful. We though it over for a couple days and decided to make the trip to inspect it. Glen picked us up at the Sacramento airport and brought us to their lot. Very well kept lot with nice clean rvs. He informed me that they post their bottom line price on all their coaches which made it real easy for us as a first time buyer. We stayed the night in auburn for 2 days.They spent about half a day going through everything with us. Top notch in our book. We would surely purchase from them again. My husband and I live locally and had been looking for a fifth wheel for a few months now. My husband found one on line at RV Connection in Auburn. I called to find out the availability of the trailer and spoke with the owner Glen. He was very helpful and indicated it was still available. I went by and looked at it and my husband was not able to look until the weekend. We both liked the trailer and wanted to leave a deposit. Glen jr. explained their policy on not taking a deposit. He told us that there would no exchange of money until after they had spent the time to show us how everything worked and our final inspection. That was great. Great business and great people. All of our experiences we have had at RV Connection in Auburn have been absolutely fantastic. Have been by their lot on several occasions and have always been treated with the utmost respect. Not pushy though are very knowledgeable. They have guided my wife and I through both of our purchases. A family business that truly feels like family. I can't say enough what a great business they have. Top notch rvs that are extremely clean and well care for. Glen and his family did a WONDERFUL job selling us our T@B 2018 320 CS-S trailer. They were incredibly knowledgeable and made the buying process so easy. They were kind enough to hold it for us as we drove from LA to see it. Once we got there they gave us a full tour of the camper and all of its features. We fell in love immediately because if was exactly what we were looking. They did due diligence and checked all of the electrical components before selling. Best of all, while the papers were being signed, they let our French bulldog stay inside their office and out of the heat. Just purchased an RV from RV Connection 3 months ago and came back from a 4,000 mile trip and everything was perfect. We had planed this trip for 4 years and was weighing the advantages of buying used or new. We decided on used and visited this company on a referral from a neighbor. My wife and I bought our Winnebago Adventurer from Glen at Rv Connection in 2013. When it was time to sell, we brought it back to RV connection. Both Glen's were very helpful making the selling process as painless as possible. They stayed in contact and had all the paper work ready to go when after 2 weeks our Motorhome sold. Just an observation and response to the owners comments on my review of them. I didn't speculate anything and the "someone " I spoke to about their experience was someone I knew not a stranger ... But the biggest thing I notice is you cannot take any criticism at all and you are defensive , condescending, and retaliatory. I see it in all of your responses on here . Sad . Glen Sr. and Glen Jr. are selling customer service; RV's are just the vehicle (pun intended) they used to deliver their excellent service. When we bought our motorhome, we were (and still are) naïve.
