Tried to take my RV in for a wheel bearing inspection. Was told just to bring it in and get in line…read morecuz they don't do appointments. Asked for a quote and was told they didn't do quotes cuz "it's always more anyway ". Then the advisor ridiculed me for wanting to have the job done, saying if there is no leakage from the seal it's "probably " OK. Also said I should replace all the bearings even if they're OK just because I was paying the labor to inspect them. He ended up telling me he didn't mean to scare me off, but I left with the impression they were not interested in listening to the customer, or doing the job, --just charging the most money possible. I really wanted to have this work done by freghtliner, but he convinced me they are the wrong people for this job. Management should know people are coming in ready to spend money but are being told "why are you concerned with the wheel bearings on your 24 year old coach, they're probably fine".

There was an issue with my title…read moreand he said he would resolve it matter fact that day he would resolve it but his idea of resolving it was giving me a three day trip for a bit while he works on paperwork that he lost to begin with and admitted it himself two occasions he tells me it will resolve it. It'll be fine. We'll get you in a vehicle that you can register and have plates on it. I'm still currently without plates without a title and I have to go to state patrol to evidence inspected because there's no evidence that it even belong to Kent truck. They don't care about their customers I've already gotten $1300 worth of tickets because of their mistake and misplacing the paperwork for my van. I was told they're gonna replace it with another van because they're having issues but then they just decided they didn't wanna help me any longer and they've been ignoring my messages ever since so there may be really nice to you but as soon as you drive off the lot, you're on your own better. Hope they have everything taken care of before you leave and don't trust their word because they don't stand by it.

I always get talked down to by people when car shopping since I'm a 5 foot tall female who always wants a new truck lol. Strangers don't realize I will rip them to shreds when talking about trucks, motors, trannys, lifts, rear ends, tuning, etc... Talking to the guys here was instantly like talking to old friends that I've known for years. It was almost bizarre watching my husband interact with them, you would think they had all been friends since childhood, except we just met them lol! They didn't try to show me a single thing I didn't want. They were dead honest about what was wrong with the truck I decided on. Funny thing, because we were actually there for another truck for my husband. What can I say... Happy wife, happy life?!?! They let my daughters play with the shop cat! The owner actually had an entire conversation with my daughters about how long he's had the cat and all that good stuff. They had CLEAN toy cars in the office ready for the kids to play with, and were just as kind to my girls as they were to me and my husband. We liked them so much and they offered us such a killer deal, we didn't just buy a truck for me, we bought a wakeboard boat for the husband too! And knowing what my husband wants, they are now on the hunt for my husband's dream truck, and you better believe we'll come buy it from them. Oh yeah... Just because it's important to moms with kids... The bathroom was perfectly clean and it's not like the other used car lots where there's junk and cigarette butts all over the ground. The whole place is clean.

Went to Ryder to purchase a 24' flatbed for my company. I survived through multiple days of the…read moretruck not being able to be test driven, due to dead batteries and dashboard electrical issues. We needed a good truck quickly. Finally purchased the truck, after Ryder repaired the problems. A week later, and less than 300 miles, the ECM cooler failed causing $3000 in tow and repair bills. I complained to Ryder about selling a defective truck; they agreed to cover the repair costs but not the tow bills. Ryder sent me an agreement stating that their responsibility was over once they paid 2 invoices, totaling the $3000. This does not account for the $1000+ my company lost in productivity, by missing a construction materials delivery deadline. I received payment from Ryder for one invoice but not the other. It took over 6 months to receive payment. They have yet to pay the 2nd, agreed upon invoice, and will not answer emails or voice messages left by me to get payment. DO NOT BUY FROM RYDER. They have sub-par trucks, with bandaided and/or incorrectly repaired issues. The "Sales Manager" "Mudd" knows nothing about trucks, and is so passive that he is not able to get his corporate office to take care of customer issues. Simple fix to this customer-losing problem - cut a check locally and deal with your Ryder Corporate issues internally!! I regret buying the truck from them, but we are stuck with it now. Next time I will buy from Enterprise or Penske; much better run businesses and customer care practices.
