We pulled into Ryan's simply because the shop was open and looked clean. After letting us know their schedule was full, they found us a tech to do a pre-purchase inspection for us. Their waiting area was clean and comfortable. The cost of the inspection was entirely reasonable, but what has me taking the time to write a review is the staff. They were so kind and accommodating (did I mention it was late in the afternoon on the Friday before Memorial Day??). They documented the inspection with photos. Ryan's came in lower and had me scheduled to replace a tire rod and ball joint. for the next morning. It was ready within a couple of hours of them opening and communication was excellent. My brakes went bad on my 26-year-old Toyota RAV4 during a particularly busy week. I had gone to KC Complete Auto (now Telle) for over 20 years, but after the shop was purchased & then re-purchased by corporations, they priced themselves out of my range. I had never been to Ryan's before, despite living less than a mile away, but I was able to get a next morning appointment. They even gave me a ride home when the repair was going to last all day. Trusted them with my daughters car 3k later nothing is fixed ..my driveway is filled with oil wrong spark plugs left engine cover off for two weeks bracket broke on fan they replaced fell on ac fan overheated car .. it's been verified by another mechanic it was a bad job if it was ever even done by Ryan's.. read more

I brought my vehicle in due to an ongoing overheating issue and was advised that the coolant level sensor may be the cause. Based on their diagnosis, I paid approximately $1,200 for the recommended repairs plus $200 for the original diagnostic testing. Unfortunately, the repair did not resolve the original problem. The check engine light reappeared immediately after service, and the overheating issue continued exactly as before. When I returned the vehicle, your team acknowledged the issue persisted but required additional payment for further diagnostics. It was stated that you were unsure because you could not replicate the issue or trigger the check engine light. The same day the vehicle was said to not be able to find the problem the check engine light come on and I returned, your technician put it on the machine and confirmed it was the coolant level sensor, at this time a level two diagnostic should have been recommended versus a $1200 repair that was a "shot in the dark". After being told I needed a $400 second diagnostic I decided I didn't want to flush anymore money down the drain. I went to pick up the car I drove there mind you, that ended up being completely non drive able and having to be towed. Because most peoples cars leave worse than they arrive right? Got my brakes fixed here they did not do my brake lines correctly. They charge me a lot of money to do my brakes wrong I left got into a car accident do to not being able to stop my car No one replaced anything gave me any money back. Ryan said he fired who replaced my brake lines. And hung up Terrible experience left me without a car with two small children and was living in a shelter at the time and have police reports on the accident and other verifying documents and witnesses to this situation this is my Maiden name btw I was also going to through a divorce when yall put me and my kids lives at risk you careless piece of sh*it... read more

Ryan's Car Care used to be a good, trust worthy, stand behind his work kind of guy. He turned out to be a back yard shade tree mechanic with an attitude. I went to Ryan's and he said, "I will repair what is needed to be repaired," but the repairs was not done, and I was charged. This happen several times until a serious problem occurred because of his botched patch work it made more damaged to my vehicle when he should had fixed it right the first time. I brought my car in and knew it needed quite a bit of work. I was quoted a very large amount from a dealer. Yes I know dealer pricing is high, but Ryan's did all the work and noticed my tires were cracking (they were 6 years old). All of the work and the tires were less than half the dealer cost. The service was finished when promised. I'll be going back to Ryan's for my vehicle inspection, and if I ever need anything else in car repair. My extended family has been using Ryan's for over 10 years. His company served my parents' cars, my sisters' and brothers-in-law's cars, and our kids' cars. Lately service has been subpar. I called and talked with Ryan and told him what was wrong with my car and said I needed an oil change too- left the car for getting two tires, oil change and find a rattling noise; hours later the manager called to tell me I needed tires(really? I had told them that!), and an oil change (again, really?) and no one heard a rattle, which I heard through closed windows over the radio. And he said it wasn't ready until the n day. When I brought it in I had told them I was driving it the next morning out of town. Next day I showed up 30 minutes later than when I was promised it would be ready to be told it wouldn't be ready for another hour, making me have to use another car to take the day trip. Brought it back for the tires the next business da- whoev put them on put them on the FRONT, not the back, where they were to go! They took two weeks to fix my son's ignition problem, causing multiple breakdowns each time they told us (AND WE PAID THEM) it was fixed. Whatever the problem is, I don't recommend them! read more

Honest and fair pricing. I can go in and tell them the noise I hear or what us acting up on my car and they have the correct answer the 1st time. You pay what is quoted, plus tax. Never had a list of unnecessary things that need replaced when I take my vehicle in. Give them a try. read more
