They are friendly and their online booking system is very convenient. All three times that I have gone here I have done a drop off. I will say that it takes the better part of the day when you do it that way. They say that if you choose "waiting", then it should be faster. I just haven't tried it yet. They were thorough in their inspections and upfront about the costs. As mentioned in another review, a good mechanic is one of the key things in life, especially if you plan to keep your car as long as I have. I was customer of Done with Care Shop and I liked their service and found their prices to be decent. But the one hangup I had with them was the time it took to do repairs and the followup. My 2007 Camry needed some tires and I happened to get an Amazon GC, so I used it to buy tires (yes they sell and deliver tires....sorry Amazon Prime delivery guys) and I needed to find an installer. It was then I got a flyer from a company called "Auto Doctors" who had a coupon. While I don't necessarily trust mechanics who have to advertise with a flyer (had a bad experience), since it was just a tire install with an alignment, I decided to call them, since they were walking distance from my house. No luck, they would not install my tires and their tone seemed insincere to me. However, next to them was Burnett Automotive. I was hesitant to call them because they are also a Goodyear dealer, so what would they think of installing a non-Goodyear brand on my car? They were very polite and professional, having no problems doing the install. They did it well, and within the timeframe from which they said they would and the price was better than the other Goodyear dealer near my work. Since then I had an oil change there on my Camry. I also have a Porsche Boxster that I always took to an independent porsche specialist and decided to have them do my oil change. My Boxster's oil change costs $250 at the indy shop, but Burnett only charged me $150 (I hope they don't read this and charge me more the next time) and my car runs just as well. My thought is that if you don't have a ride, and if you find a decent shop that is within walking distance. You have hit a jackpot! read more

I've been getting my Lexus and previous Subaru serviced at Burnett on College and Quivera for many years. I have never been disappointed. I have never been rushed into any service that I didn't need. All service was explained fully and I was cautioned about things to look for. Somethings I questioned turned out to be nothing that needed repair. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I recently had my car serviced at Barnett automotive on 112 and College Boulevard for an oil change, battery replacement, and tire rotation. Unfortunately, the experience left me quite dissatisfied. When I got my car back, the air conditioner was not working, which was not an issue prior to the service. What disappointed me even more was that when I brought up this concern with the store manager he accused me of lying about the AC he stated " for all I know the ac probably wasn't working before you brought it here". This accusation was not only unprofessional but also made me question their integrity. I believe it's essential for an automotive service center to provide honest and reliable service. In this case, I felt unheard and unfairly treated. I hope Barnett Automotive main office takes customer feedback seriously and works on improving both their service quality and customer relations in the future... read more

I made an appointment and was told it would take an hour when I booked. When I showed up for the appointment I was told it would take 1.5 hours. I waited for an hour and they still weren't working on my car and they told me it wasn't going to be done in the 1.5 hour timeline. It would have been 2 hours at the earliest but more likely 2.5/3 hours. The guy told me he had an employee who called in sick. They should have called me prior to my appointment and me arriving to let me know instead. read more

Thanks to Charles at the 112th & Quivera location of Burnett Automotive for taking such good care of my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I purchased my tires there many months ago. It seems like I have had more than my share of little metal scraps in my tires, resulting in a slow leak. Burnett has always fixed the problem by plugging and sealing the puncture. They have done this for free under their warranty program. Even when the problem was a bent wheel, they took care of me. They sourced a reconditioned wheel, saving me hundreds of dollars compared to buying a new OEM wheel. The free tire rotations that I have them do every 5,000 - 6,000 miles have made my tires last longer than average. Because of this good service and the quality brands of tires they sell, I will be purchasing my next set of tires from Burnett. Charles also arranged to swap out an incorrect colored light bulb for a new clear bulb in the headlamp assembly. I have referred my family and friends to Burnett. read more

I went in on 10/2 to have a 'Check Engine Light' diagnosed. They checked the code and it was something that needed to be further diagnosed. The tech was not in that day that does that so I set up the appointment for 10/7 in the office, face to face with the gent I was working with. I show up today at 7AM after taking the day off to be able to leave my car with them to get the diagnoses and repair done. The gent that was there this morning advised that I didn't have an appointment for today that it was for tomorrow 10/8. I said, "Negative" as it had been arranged by the guy I was working with the week prior. He checked the computer and said I made the appointment online, I again said "negative", he said well, your appointment is for tomorrow. So I took the day off for absolutely nothing, my car still isn't fixed and I'm left with a sour experience from this place that somehow gets highly rated scores. The gent that was there this morning was very dismissive as the mistake was squarely on Burnetts fault, he kept saying I made the appointment online which shows his ignorance as my email confirmation, the only one I received, was for my 10/2 appointment. The gents that were assisting me in the shop on 10/2 must have screwed up the new appointment date, leaving me to continue driving my car that is not operating properly. Its funny how the flippant attitude of one employee can lose a customer for life. I know these reviews just get brushed aside and dismissed as a bad customer but having lost a days work, having my wife adjust her schedule to come with me so I had a ride home only to be dismissed at 7AM on the day that was supposed to be my appointment is literally infuriating. read more

Have nothing but great things to say about each of the guys we've interacted with at Burnett Automotive! They are friendly, patient and make a real effort to make sure you understand all the options available. Our old 97 Toyota Corolla had what we thought were a few minor problems, but after a quick check turns out it was much more serious. The tech was really patient and took me into the back of the shop with my car on the lift to physically SHOW me what was wrong. I'm not mechanical in any way and I really appreciated the "keep it simple" approach, I have total confidence that these guys do honest work and don't rip people off. The courtesy shuttle was a great service to me as well. The lounge could use a little sprucing up, but its not so bad that I'd not return. read more

I rolled into Burnett's close to closing time and with a flat tire. I was happy to have just made it there safely and I assumed I would need to leave my car overnight. Not only were they able to patch my tire, they were also able to change my oil, and they did both things in less than an hour! The price was great and so was the customer service. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Burnetts has always been good and where I always bring my car to. The one I typically go to was booked for a few weeks so I came to this one to get my oil changed and I knew I needed new brakes so scheduled that as well down the road. I noticed my oil was leaking a couple days after getting it changed and had to bring it back in to have them resolve the issue since they didn't tighten the valve enough. Later on, I bring my car in to get the brakes replaced and afterwards I am almost home and my wheels are smoking. They had messed up on the installation and I had to have my car towed back to their shop where they had to order more parts and fix the problem that they had caused. Two times I've gone there and two times they have messed up to where I had to bring my car back in. Avoid the headaches, go elsewhere read more

Trash. They take forever even with an appointment, and are beyond expensive. $75 for a basic oil change which also was an hour and a half wait after appt. do not go here. Edit since they responded: the receipt said I asked for a full service oil change when I specifically said no, and yes I did ask for the brakes to be checked so it wasn't metal on metal but 1) no extra cost was discussed and 2) on the receipt it doesn't say $15 and tax for the brake check, it says full service with that $69 something with tax. So even if what you're saying is true, that $15 and tax cost does not equate to the $75 I was charged. Also, my husband popped my hood when I showed him the receipt only to find out that what they claim I asked for (which I specifically said basic oil is all and to check brakes) they didn't even do! None of my fluids were topped off. They also tried to tell me that my valve stem on my tire was broke so they couldn't check pressure, but that "if I wanted them to break it for me and replace it then it would only be $50"....... this also is untrue as none of my valves are sealed, my husband was able to check all of them. Just because I am a female does not mean you should try to overcharge me. I will not do business again with a place that lies and tries to get away with this, that is not how you treat customers. read more

My car battery very unexpectedly seemed to be in need of immediate replacement (100 degree temps outside and car was struggling to start). I was in the area for kids summer activities, drove by Burnett Automotive, and parked out front without turning my car off because I was scared it would not start up again if I turned it off. I was on a time crunch but Eddie checked the car out and they were able to replace the battery. They completed the work in less than 40 minutes without any appointment. I used to work in the area so I went there out of convenience 5 years ago and I've worked and lived about 30 minutes away, minimum, for the last 3 years and I continue to go here. These guys know their stuff but their price is ridiculous. I just had spark plugs and boots installed. I looked up the average price for this online and labor is on average $200, they charged $290. I then looked up the price of the parts, the spark plug boots are $4.00 a piece and they marked them up to $12.50, spark plugs are 8.00 from ford and they marked them up to 16.79. Then they also charge an "enviro" shop fee to just have your vehicle in their shop of $37.25. So I should have paid $72 dollars in parts and I paid $175. Then labor, should have paid $200, I paid $290 and also paid the ENVIRO fee of $37. So I overpaid by $230 plus tax which would be $250. I have no choice but look for a different shop to do business with read more

I went in to get a quote on some brakework. They charged me 20 bucks just to look at it then gave me an estimate for over 650 dollars to overhaul my brakes. I was shocked already at that price but I knew that I only really needed the passenger right side fixed so I asked how much just to do that one and the guy tells me 320. So a week later I decide to go ahead and do it but when I bring my truck in the place he changes my estimate to around 450 all of the sudden. Boo Hoo to you bro. I told him what he had quoted me and he argued saying that he would never have done that. What happened to the customer is always right. And I was. I wasn't lying to the guy. So I left and went to Midas and got a free inspection and they fixed both brakes and told me exactly what I needed for less than 300. Yeah Midas. Boo Burnett.. I hate dishonest people. Dropped my car off at 10:00am on a Saturday to find it strangely desolate. Nonetheless, they said they would be able to get right on and I told them I was going to go for a run (being it 85deg, not such a smooth idea) and would be back to pick it up. I returned at 10:40a and they were just lowering the car on the lift. I winded up having a free oil change voucher that I used, which did present a snag for the cashier. He wasn't very familiar with the computer system and had to call another location for some tech help. This took about 10 minutes and was a little bit annoying as all I needed was a receipt and I could be on my way. Overall, good enough mechanic shop, no reason to rush back or stay away from. If I get any more free oil changes, I will however be sure to use them. read more

Avoid the annoyance of having to fix their mistakes. First, I had to repeat my name several times to them..still got it wrong. Two, back tire on my car was loose...they only hand tightened the lug nuts. Three, oil light kept going off... Checked the amount quart and half low, only days after the "full service" oil change. I needed a couple pricey repairs, like brakes, etc, but they contacted the dealership to find out about repairs indicated by the service code they pulled. Found out that would be warranty work, and contacted me with the the information about when I could take it to the dealership for no charge to me.
