Once again, thanks to Google I stumbled upon Mr Fix-It who works out of his home but there are three convenient locations through out the greater Harrisburg area where you can pick up and drop your things. Things include computers, laptops and peripherals, CD/DVD players, printers, VCRs (I'm sorry they listed 'em as well) etc. One of the locations is Kersey Riverside Cleaners off of Hoffman St., which is where I went since I was coming from downtown. He fixed it in three days and didn't cost me much either. He's a very nice guy who'll answer all your questions.

Mr. Diaz was a delight to speak with. He explained exactly how he would repair the turntable. BTW, his explanation demonstrated a detailed knowledge of the turntable design, engineering and innards. His fee structure was reasonable. I authorized the work which was done in the forecast time frame. Took the turntable home and it has been working LIKE NEW for more than a year. Yesterday, I contact Mr. Diaz by email to ask about potential repair of a Super Audio CD player. He responded promptly and advised that the machine is too old to repair because of a lack of parts. Instead of "blowing smoke," he HONESTLY suggested that, if I wanted to replace the player with the same model, that I look on eBay. He is an HONEST, ethical, businessman. He is knowledgeable and efficient. I would not hesitate to bring other equipment to him for repair.

Very friendly but parts are junk. Wife's iPhone had a broken screen. Took it in for a new screen…read moreand a battery replacement while it was opened up. First they forgot to replace the battery and had to open it back up. Upon leaving the store I noticed that the new screen constantly cycled the Lock Screen on and off at random. Also would not charge properly. Took it back a few days later and they agreed to replace the battery and the screen. After replacing the screen and battery they couldn't even get it to turn back on. Turns out both screens were defective out of the box. Junk parts. Replaced the screen again and it worked fine........for a week. Screen cracked under the glass and the phone was completely unusable. Took it back and was told that it was physical damage and they wouldn't warranty it. They were willing to replace the screen again at a cost. I said no way I'm doing that and I will never have a phone repaired by anyone again after this nightmare of an experience. It may not have been there fault but the parts they sell are junk and very fragile. After approximately 3 hours of wasted time and $200 I would never recommend them to anyone.
