Truly so unprofessional. We attempted to look at Yukon and Acadia and their sales person Jorge was extremely unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. Any question we would ask, he would reply with a sarcastic remark. He started making comments like "oh go to other dealerships down the street but grab onto your wallet good luck with those guys". Just making unnecessarily unprofessional remarks. When we ask if we can speak to a supervisor so maybe we can get a better deal he laughed and said "you're wasting your time here.. people don't negotiate. They just buy cars from us". I attempted to purchase a 2026 Yukon Denali from this location and had a disappointing experience that I feel should be shared for other buyers who come prepared with their own financing. Before making the two-hour drive to the dealership, I informed the sales staff that I had guaranteed funds from my own bank and was ready to purchase the vehicle. I was told over the phone by the sales manager, Jorge, that the dealership would not release the vehicle to me unless I: * ran my credit through their lenders, and * signed an "option contract" to get financing through them. When I asked Jorge for a written policy requiring customers with guaranteed bank funding to finance through the dealership, he admitted that no such written policy exists. I was then told that if I insisted on using my own bank check, I would have to drop off the check, leave without the vehicle, and wait 7-14 days before picking it up. This would require making two long trips only because I declined dealership financing. A cashier's check from a bank does not need 7-14 days to clear, which makes this delay appear more like pressure to use their financing instead of mine. In addition, there was an unprofessional text exchange with their salesman, David, who laughed at my driver's license photo using an emoji after requesting my ID and insurance. I expect more professionalism from any business, especially when purchasing a vehicle of this value. I also reached out directly to the dealer manager, Greg Anderson, to address these concerns and did not receive a response. Whether or not someone chooses to finance through a dealership should be a personal decision, not a requirement or a tactic to pressure customers away from their own bank. I decided not to continue with the purchase and am sharing this so others can be aware and ask questions before moving forward. Professionalism and transparency should be the standard. read more

Shopping for a new GMC truck spoke to Kameron explained what I was looking for and even supplied him a list of multiple dealerships that I haven't called. They were the first call , At first Kameron was eager to get the comparisons I researched listing multiple dealers showing sales and promotions and net cost . That list also included my Cash Offer-out-Door which he questioned on how I came up with these cost numbers my response was that I did my homework with countless hours of researching data. Obviously that's not what I spent, but for the very affordable cost, you still do get a luxury car. Some of that is because of the looks and features of the product, the rest of that is because of the experience provided by the staff who represent the brand. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Jorge in sales for many years and he has always been up front with me, minus all the smoke and mirrors of other establishments I've dealt with in the past, and has made my multiple dealings with him easy, trustworthy, and efficient. After being told the particular stk# hadn't arrived yet, I was asked if I was a California resident. I politely said no which the salesperson then told me he couldn't sell me a vehicle. His statement took me by surprise as I've purchased new vehicles before from out of state including from California so I asked why and all he could respond with was it's Company Policy. I then mentioned I'm a quick car ride away and we'd drive over and complete everything in person. The salesperson's response again was he couldn't sell me a vehicle because I don't reside in California. We ended our conversation there but couldn't imagine a car dealer turning away business especially in these times. I decided to send a message to their Sales Manager Mr. Greg Anderson figuring the salesperson was simply mistaking. It's been a week and two messages later and haven't heard a peep from the Sales Manager or anyone else. Either Buick GMC Sherman Oaks is the busiest and highest volume dealer in the GMC network so they don't need to entertain out of state business or this dealer group lacks vision and leadership. Given the low Yelp rating I know which of the two I'd put my money on. I wouldn't recommend this dealer group to anyone even to those who live within their area. read more

One star only because zero stars isn't an option! Dropped off my truck here for a Friday morning appointment to get serviced for a dashboard message that wouldn't go away. After waiting over 30 minutes to finally see my service advisor Lira, the truck was dropped off and parked out in their parking lot. I called back later that day (Friday) to find out what the status was on the truck and was told they needed another day to diagnose it. Which I found no problem with and I figured they would have it ready the next day (Saturday). Finally Saturday came around and I called in to find out what the status on the truck was, and they said they had still not been able to diagnose it and the truck would have to stay there until Monday. It was at this point where I start getting a bit frustrated and wondered if they were even working on my truck. Monday morning finally came around and I called in once again to see if there was any update since I wasn't getting any calls from Lira, my service advisor. I was told by the service operator that she would have Lira call me back. I never received a call back and another day went by with no word on my truck. It was at this point that I decided to just pick up the truck the following day. Tuesday morning I showed up to the dealer to pick up my truck and to my surprise, the truck was still parked in the same spot where I left it when I dropped it off Friday morning for service!!! It hadn't even moved!!! I confronted Lira about it and she gave me some B.S. excuse about the truck being placed in the same spot after coming back from the "diesel department". I then requested to speak with a manager (Hanna), and lo and behold, Hanna confirmed my suspicions and informed me that she was very sorry and that in fact my truck not moved since Friday. She offered to have my truck ready by end of day (Tuesday). At this point I told her no thank you, grabbed my keys and left with my unserviced truck!! This was hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had in my life!! My truck was here for 4 days and these people didn't even touch it!!! Freaking incredible!!!! I then decided to make an appointment at Parkway Motors GMC in Valencia. Dropped off my truck at 10 AM and it was ready for pick up by 1:30 PM!!! Same day!!! Im not a car expert so I try to engage and trust. Brought my car in in July for a good check as I was taking a long trip. They said I should change my oil even though it was at 57% for a 16 hour trip. Then they said they topped off my coolant Now one month later my coolant has a leak and my anti freeze is leaking says my local mechanic. Its always a lie from someone. And when I called to get some feedback if a coolant can start leaking in a month and antifreeze to see if they really looked at it. I called five times called the financial who never returned call and when I finally got someone they were not at all friendly about the call. They reassured me it was and also a few other colors which was exciting. I get all the way down there and they don't have the car I wanted and don't seem to aware of my appointment. The worst service experience from any dealership I've dealt with in Southern California! Brought in a GMC truck for service. Found out a new transmission was required. Reached out to the service advisor Reno multiple times requesting a quote for replacing the transmission. Never got a call back! Reached out to Reno's supervisor, Hanna, the "Service Manager". Left her MULTIPLE messages and NEVER got a call back! Called and asked for Hanna's boss. The response I received was, "She's a manager, she has no boss." Imagine how stupid this makes the dealership look! They should be ashamed to have Service anywhere in their name, because they don"t believe in providing service. But, that's not completely accurate. To be fair, they provide unlimited BAD service. I've filed a complaint with General Motors. I will never return to this dealership and I certainly will not refer them to anyone I like! read more
