The food was amazing! Their meatloaf sandwich and wings are out of this world. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. 100/10 recommend.

6:30 Reservations on a Friday night and we were escorted to a booth in the bar area. This worked out well for us as we wanted to visit, and so the live music was in the background and was enjoyed. Started with poutines which were described as fabulous, with special mention of the onions and gravy. Entrees included the stew, a burger, the orzo and one other. The burger and fries were very good, and the other diners enjoyed theirs as well. We were able to play a couple games of tabletop shuffleboard too after dinner which was a nice addition to the evening. The manager checked in to make sure all was well and our waitress was very attentive.

A wonderful evening at A Restaurant, that understands the first and second rules of being a restaurant. Good food great service. We were a group of six and and from beginning to end, all of us agreed that this restaurant works towards making your dining experience memorable. One of the best waitresses I have ever had paired with interesting and tasteful food.

We are back in Asheville and back at Rye Knot. Service by Lisa was phenomenal, and the food delicious. The weather called for us to eat outside which was lovely. Good music in the background and Bob was able to give us a tour of the distillery/brewery. Fun fact Rye Knot was the first to have a distilling and brewing license in North Carolina.

Open after Helene! Delicious beet salad with Salmon, gin and tonic with lime, ice in a real glass:) not plastic! One of a few restaurants where full service despite the current challenges is happening. Please stop by to support them. Plenty of parking great menu.

It was hard to pick from the menu because multiple items looked savory and mouthwatering. I got the fried green tomato BLT with a side of cabbage slaw and for an appetizer the naan. Oh my goodness gracious honey child.

Lot's of eclectic spice and vegetable beers, but the pairings are generally interesting and well done. They also have a few more traditional beer styles, if that's what you're in the mood for. The space is also very nicely done. Plenty of room at the bar. A somewhat dark and muted color tone that created the feel of a slightly rustic and understated space. I liked it. In terms of food, I ordered a mediterranean bowl and was pretty happy with it. Reasonably well presented. Some evidence of investing effort in creating an individualized concept. The ingredients were also very fresh. The toppings also fell within a reasonable balance. It wasn't overwhelming. It wasn't the best salad of this type that I've had, but it made for something crisp and fresh to pair with a pint. All that having been said, my suggestion would be to go for the beer. If you want to order food alongside your beer, that's secondary.

The inside had plenty of seating while the outdoor patio was perfect for dogs and getting some sun. Wicked Weed was highly recommended by locals and visitors alike. They have a good selection of beers including pre-organized flights and the food was really good as well - I enjoyed the steakhouse burger. Worth a visit for beer, food, and just an overall friendly and welcoming environment.

Almost every beer on the menu is a split batch fermented with two different yeast strains to showcase the resulting differences. It's a great concept, even if you're not into brewing. In terms of the food, it seems like the really leaned into providing something good, well-balanced, and sometimes takes advantage of the yeast and beer being cultivated on site. I had a house salad and some dilly beans for lunch. The house salad was fresh and extremely well balanced. I'm glad they had something vegetable centric available. The dilly beans were good, but quite a bit for a single human. They're probably the type of thing you would want to split among friends. I actually showed up for an event in the evening where they served pizza using dough fermented with one of their yeast strains. That was truly excellent. Nicely balanced, not over the top, with a deeply flavorful crust. If you're in Asheville, I would consider this a must visit destination.

Mrs. K. and I took the two seats at the end and I walked up to the bar to order drinks and dinner. A pint of the "American Style Lager" for me and their "Spicy!" ginger beer that Mrs. K. said was good but not all that spicy. Less than ten minutes later, my chicken wings arrived. They sell them as "a pound" which was good because these were very small wings. Small, but tasty in a sweet/spicy sauce and I ate nearly all of them while slowly sipping that very crushable beer. When it was done, back into the Sprinter van and off to figure out where we're parking for the night. I had tried to make a reservation on their RV parking app but they're booked two or three weeks out! Note: The restrooms are upstairs and they have an elevator. Unfortunately, the electric vehicle charging ports are no longer in this location. The parking staff said the chargers are in a remote parking area. We came on a Tuesday afternoon after hitting a couple breweries in the Mills River area . The area that the taproom in is really beautiful with mature trees and it's a huge facility . We parked and walked inside and headed to the bar. I got a flight and my boyfriend got an IPA. I thought the beers were really good and I liked that there was some that you couldn't find anywhere else . We also ordered some duck fries that were so dang good . As we waited for our food , we went to do a self tour of the brewery and that was great to see the history of Sierra Nevada and the different rooms that the processing occurred in. After our food we cashed out and took the remainder of our beers to their outdoor area . Once you pass by their amphitheater you went down this trail towards a little river and we went farther still and there was this whole field of yard games and tables that you could sit and enjoy right next to the rushing river (French Broad River) . All the staff that we encountered with was very nice and knowledgeable. Just a really fun atmosphere to be in where even the staff looked like they were enjoying themselves . I would highly highly recommend stopping in!
