Rymes phone person was very angry when I asked for a delivery. I am very handicapped so I can't go out to check. It had beed 4 months so I knew it was low. I was transferred to someone who said he Absolutely had to know what was in the tank. He was unbelievably nasty. He made me cry. I asked if they could remove the tank. He yelled yes. It had snowed and it was very deep. He sent one person to pick up the tank that same day. The man was unable to removed it alone. I really thought he might have a heartattack or something. He called for help and over an hour later a truck came. The two men and truck were able to move it. It was 1/4 full. The company would not refund the money for the left over propane. read more

Delivery with no ticket we could find Dec 6, 2021, I tried to call for 3 days, waited on hold. Large call volume was the recording's excuse- if they never answer the phone of course they have a lot of people trying to reach them! I had to LIE in the phone tree to get a human. I left a message on the web site. This is forcing us to use their portal whether we want to or not. Poor customer service if one is ONLY TRYING TO PAY A BILL!!!!! read more

Very dishonest people. They disconnected my propane from my house after I purchased it. They gave no warning at all. They offered no communication to me as the new owner that there was any issue until after I called when they disconnected my tank. They refused to reconnect until the following week leaving me with no ability to cook food. They were nasty and uncooperative on the phone in every aspect of dealing with the problem. They left the disconnected pipe wide open inviting spiders (which love propane) to move in and spin webs in my pipe. Run away! read more

Rymes is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Management has no customer service skills. Their fee structure is atrocious, and their deliveries if you're a credit customer follow no rhyme or reason (pun intended). After 5 years of being a loyal customer who always paid their insane prices they cut off my credit after one time my payment was delayed due to an emergency root canal. I wasn't even notified of this change to my account until I called them, and they refuse to do a partial full of my tanks until I can come up with enough cash to cover a fill up. I have a 6 month old who needs heat, but even then, after they change my account in the middle of heating season refuse to work with me until I can go from paying after delivery to coming up with over $500 ahead of delivery. Needless to say I am currently looking for a new propane provider. And you should avoid this company at any cost. read more

When my Oil was delivered last Friday on a 3 degree day, the person who delivered it went over to my rabbit hutch and must have opened it to see that it's water was frozen. Then called the cops on me because they don't find it appropriate. By the way my rabbit is very healthy and has lived outside his entire life. I don't find it appropriate for them look around my property or in my animals cage. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I recently purchased a home in Keene, NH. There's a 60 gallon propane tank in the back yard that's connected to the Dryer and Stove. The tank was full, the contents part of the purchase of the house. As it was full, I didn't right away contact the company labelled on the tank - which was NOT Rymes. I came home tonight to find a yellow tag on my door from Rymes indicating the tank had been disconnected, which it was. They NEVER made any effort to make contact - no tags warning me that they were about to disconnect the tank. When I called them to ask why they disconnected, they indicated because I hadn't started a contract with them, despite the fact the tank was full and they acknowledged that I OWNED THE PROPANE IN THE TANK! As far as I'm concerned, they illegally trespassed on my property and vandalized my house. They refused to come out on an emergency basis and reconnect my tank. They said they'd 'be willing' to come out tomorrow. They had the gall to ask me if I'd 'like' to open a contract - even though they had me backed into a corner. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General. Unethical, shocking behavior. read more
