Simon Francisco and everyone he works with do lovely work. He was recommended to us by our old landlord as "the best contact he had to share" and indeed we weren't disappointed when we called on him for some estimates after we bought a duplex that needed a bit of work. Simon, his brother and the rest of the folks he works with did a great (and reasonably priced) remodel of our bathroom including new dry wall, tiling along the floor and around a drop in tub and putting up a glass shower door. They consistently went above and beyond by catching errors that had been made before (including a huge plumbing error made by the folks who supposedly fixed our sewer lateral which Simon and his folks trenched in our side yard to repair). Whenever they found something unexpected (like rats chewing through our plastic pipes) we could count on them to check in with us about how we wanted to proceed and discuss the differences in price as he knew that was a concern for us. We found everyone to be reliable, trustworthy and easy to have in our home for a few weeks. He also did a smaller job in our back yard of fixing a bit of concrete so water would flow away from the house and hauling away some old concrete. Between demo, tiling, plumbing and electric it seems there's nothing SF Construction and Landscaping doesn't do well and for a price that doesn't break the bank. read more

Simon and his crew are just AMAZING! They can do everything, they are extremely responsive and conscientious, and their pricing is super competitive. We first hired them to clean our totally overgrown yard at the end of the winter. They did a great job, weedwacking the open areas, pulling weeds around plants and on the patio, blowing leaves, taking all the yard trash with them, and leaving the place as if it were new. Then, they transformed a part of the garage into a beautiful little guest kitchen, and created a new access to inside the house. They also transformed a spare room into a bedroom by building a stunning large closet, matching its style with the style of the room and installing a large, heavy wood barn door. We could not be happier with the results of this work. We have had quite a few bad or not so good experiences with hiring people to do work on the house but these guys are something else altogether. Simon is very easy to talk with and sees immediately how to do things. It is obvious when talking with him that working on houses is a real passion. During their work on the kitchen, they discovered that the house had a serious water infiltration issue, with a pool forming in the basement during the winter. So the next project is to start addressing this issue with a French drain around the house. We also asked them to tile our deck and to create a new deck for a guest bedroom. Many ideas that we had had for months and years can finally be realized because they work very well, their time frame is reliable and their cost is totally affordable. Simon and his team are excellent professionals who surpassed my expectations on all the projects I've hired him for so far. He installed tile for my fireplace, and it was tricky work as I had various pieces from Heath that required skill and talent to put them together. They fixed the board and framing behind the sheet rock to make the tile stable and secure. Other estimates charged extra for that, but Simon didn't. He did a big retaining wall project for me next, and the property is sloped, and with challenges, but the team handled it all with grace, speed and skill. They finished early, cleaned everything up, and the walls are done beautifully, and they gave me more room to store recycling. I loved their work so much I had them do some fence repair for me. This is where their work and pricing really stood out. I was having difficulty finding the right contractor for the job, and was so glad I met Simon as he got the price down, came up with an excellent and affordable solution, re-used some of my existing materials, and made the yard look and feel so much better with their beautiful, strong new fence! He also fixed a telephone pole that was sagging into the neighbor's driveway. They did this work quickly and efficiently. I am so happy with Simon Francisco on all the jobs they've done for me. I keep adding things to the list as I always feel good about their quality, price and speed. I've told several friends about them, and they all feel the same way.
