I found Barkley's while driving on Riverside and my tire light came on. They fixed the problem and didn't even charge me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The guys were so nice that I decided to look at their reviews and consider using them for service on my other vehicle that was having multiple issues.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] With so many glowing reviews, I took my van to them to see if they could figure out what was going on with my suspension and sluggish acceleration. Turns out 3 of my 4 motor mounts were bad. The acceleration issue was more complicated so they sent my car to their Burbank shop where it got figured out. I was thrilled, except shortly after the repairs my van started making a weird noise. Took it back to Barkley's and no one could figure it out. Took it to a specialty Honda repair in Glendale and he couldn't figure it out either. Thankfully, my brother came to town and discovered the problem. Long story short the motor mounts that were installed were defective. This was an expensive repair. When I brought the car back to Barkley's they confirmed the motor mounts were bad and replaced them immediately under warranty. I guess they never suspected the motor mounts because they had just replaced them. I can't really fault them for not suspecting something they just replaced would be fail. Anyway, they handled it like a true reputable shop should. I won't hesitate to use them again. read more

I could not be happier with my experience at Barkley Tire. I live in the neighborhood and came here a couple months ago to fix a nail in my tire. They charge $15 less than a competitor down the street and closer to my house. They were also able to take care of me immediately. When I found out I needed 2 replacements tires with only a few months on my lease, it was Michael to the rescue. He was able to get me hard to find tires for my Mercedes SUV that only takes a specific tire that is evidently sold out/out of stock everywhere. He was able to locate gently used tires with more thank you 80% wear left on them for a really great price that included installation. I was absolutely over the moon happy! Friendly, efficient services at a good, honest and fair price. They are very knowledgeable and very decent folks who operate this family run business. I will absolutely be back when I need tires or any of the other services they offer. It's unfortunate that this level of truly outstanding customer service is dying among so many businesses.
