We used S&K Delivery to deliver the furniture we had purchased from the furniture store to our home. This company was recommended by the furniture store and we now know why! The delivery was easily scheduled over the phone with a courteous customer service agent. We received a call the evening before the delivery and on the morning of the delivery with a 1-hour time window. The guys actually delivering the items arrived and surveyed our home for furniture placement. They delivered the items to the specified locations and assembled the items as needed. We are very happy with the work Maybert and Allan did. They were very careful not to hit any walls or to damage any of the items. And, afterward when all items were assembled/placed properly, they made sure all was good before completing the invoice and leaving. We believe the cost for this service (delivery and setup) was very reasonable and couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommended! read more

Have not used their service however I witness to their VERY unsafe truck. Driving 68 mph (in a 55) on 84E at 845am Monday morning, I was talgated for for several miles. Once 84 merged (after 205) they then shot past me cutting over 3 lanes of traffic. Causing someone in high speed lane to hit brakes & honk their horn. I know I now would not trust my belongings to movers who drive like that. And I wonder if theybeven stopped to consider how dangerous a large truck is at that speed and they're driving as a representative of that company. read more

I have waited a few months to try and work things out with this company before writing a bad review. But, nothing seems to work. We used them to deliver a couch from Key furnishings. One of the delivery guys was great, very friendly. But, the other was just awful. He was rude, imposing and I was a little nervous having in my home. Unfortunately, he also had no idea how to move furniture into a house and kept jamming the couch through my side door. Of course there was damage. I have been trying to get recourse from this company for two months now - and had three calls with them where they agreed they would just refund the delivery fee. this company is a joke, they were hired to deliver a couch from a furniture store, was told that they would call me the night before to sit up a window for time the next day. They waited to call me at 9:00p I was given a window of 4:00p to 6:00p the next day. On delivery day at 5:55 p they called me that they were unable to pick up the couch, they said that they were at the store at 10:00a and that there was a problem, so they waited all day before they told me. The next delivery day was given a window again this time 30 minutes past the window with no phone call. If you want to use a company that doesn't give you a courtesy call if there's a problem then by all means use them. No apologies whatsoever we're given. , read more

I am EXTREMELY displeased with their service. We ordered a sectional and a recliner on Thursday from the Big Lots in Gresham. I received a call that night stating they would be here between 5 and 7 p.m. Friday night. So, we made plans to do something after 7 p.m. I get a text from one of their workers saying they were running an hour behind. Then nothing until 9 p.m. when I received a call from the worker saying our stuff won't be delivered and they would bring it first thing this morning at 10 a.m. Nobody showed up at 10 a.m., their main number goes to voicemail. My girlfriend and I have taken delivery of 2 mattresses that we purchased recently (1 was an exchange). Both deliveries were fast, but with a complete disregard to our home. The front door was left open every time they entered, I kept having to shut it for the sake of heat. I watched one of the guys knock something over on a shelf, look at it briefly, and leave it knocked over. Wet, dirty shoes from the rain on our carpet, with zero protection. The rug we have in our hallway was rolled and ruffled multiple times, which I kept fixing as I noticed. The guys are nice, and I do appreciate that, but come on...any other delivery service knows to respect the home as you deliver the product. read more

I used this company for delivery from 2 Big Lots stores. They were supposed to call 24-48 hours after the purchase, as the store people told us - never happened. I had to call them about the delivery. Big Lots told us they had to go to both stores to pick up the items. No one told us these will be separate delivery charges. Delivery was finally announced, but only one item came. Neither the delivery guys, nor the company knew what to tell us about the other item. I would never recommend this delivery service! Showed up an hour late, then was told since they were late they didnt have time to set up, my 3 piece table set! So by you being late its some how my fault that you couldn't set up my furniture which was part of the deal!!! Nope, never again! I was driving through Gresham and onto I-84 and caught them behind me at a light taking either multiple pictures or a video of me. I made eye contact with them through my side mirror and they seemed to be smiling and laughing as the passenger was holding up his phone to my car. These guys seem very sketchy and there is no way these people are professional. Total creeps. read more

Recieved a call the day before (8/21)my delivery that my order would be delivered between 3 and 5 PM the next day ( 8/22) I received a call from the movers at 4 saying they were running an hour and a half behind schedule that they would be here between 6 and 630 then at 6 26 I received a call that they would be an additional 26 min late ... they finally showed up around 7 . I asked it there was any type of discount on the fee because they were so late and they said no they there last delivery the customer had a lot of complaints so it took them a while. He apologized. They were quick and efficient when they got here but my boyfriend and I made plans for our anniversary for 630 that were canceled because they were so late. So not only did I wait from 3 to 5 for no reason they also made us miss plans we set out for an hour and a half after they were supposed to be done... I appreciate the good attitude of the movers but paying 79 dollars for this was crazy they could have knocked 15 dollars or so off for the mess up. read more

So I called the company on Wednesday about doing a delivery on Thursday which is today and they didn't even bother to call me the whole day back on Wednesday they were going to deliver my cabinet to my apt..it was a red flag to me when they told me to pay cash of 79 dollars instead of a debit card...so for them to say to book delivery a day before witch i did...if they couldn't deliver a simple cabinet to my apt...then ask for cash...and no phone call back for Wednesday the whole day i waited....they said debit cards take to long to go through there system...so again another red flag read more

They call between 7-9pm to tell you their scheduled drop off for the next day. It's not enough notice when your household works 9-5 M-F. My mattress drop off was scheduled the morning of because they forgot to call me and reschedule our first drop off the night before. It never showed up. Turns out they don't have a call center or a scheduler just a guy with a cell phone. When you call them it goes straight to voicemail no matter what time. I got a call at 8:40pm saying someone would drop it off within the hour. The driver calls at 9:30pm says the truck is packed and my mattress is at the front so they'll have to drop it off in the AM. They called me at 7:45am to tell me they were 5-10 mins away. That was a shock first thing in the morning on a Saturday. Way too much miscommunication for a delivery business. They also walked all over my carpet with wet/muddy shoes so I had to spend the rest of my morning dabbing water out of my carpet and washing shoe prints off my hardwood floors. It cost $65 to have my mattress delivered. If I had known the level of disservice they provided I would've rented a uhaul and picked it up myself. Everyone was very nice, respectful (except for the muddy shoes), and apologetic but that doesn't make up for the fact they wasted my time. read more

We ordered a custom couch and S And K Delivery picked our couch up from the warehouse, assembled it for us in our home, then took our old couch to a friend's house and assembled that couch for them. They worked around our time constraints and coordinated the trip conveniently between the three locations communicating ETA times along the way. The team was wonderful, hardworking and handled everything with care and attention. We will definitely use them again! read more

I bought a recliner on Dec 24th for my girlfriends Christmas gift at the Gresham Big Lots. I was giving the S & K business card as their delivery service and told the price was $65. I promptly called and being Christmas Eve was fully expecting that that no one was working. I was amazed that I got a call back from Kris at 450 pm. But was unable to answer the phone. I called back on Dec 26th at 9am and talked to Gordon and told him that I was playing phone tag with Kris and he took my info. I told him I was available all week between 2pm and 6pm since I work the 2am shift. He told me there would be no problems since he was the one who made out the delivery schedule and I would get a call back to confirm between 7-9pm. When the call came at 8pm I was told that my chair could only be delivered between 12-2 pm or I would have to pay and extra $24 to reroute the truck. After a few minutes on the phone with Gordon being told that the only way to get my delivery is to pay the extra fee, I have decided to cancel the whole order. Hopefully they haven't already picked it up and aren't going to hold it for ransom. Tomorrow after work I get to go back to Big Lots and get a refund. Wish me luck. read more

I used S and K about 6 months ago to pick up my mattresses in Portland and deliver them to Ridgefield, WA and they were great. For my move from California to Ridgefield I thought they would be great to hire to unload my moving truck. About a month before my move I called and made arrangements for them to pick up my new furniture in Portland, deliver it to my new house and to unload the heavy things from my moving truck. I explained that I had to have my moving truck returned by 4 pm. At 8:45 pm the night before they were supposed to arrive, I got a call telling me that they would be at my house between 5 and 7 pm. My furniture had to be picked up before 4 pm and my moving truck had to be returned by 4 pm and they weren't going to show up until between 5 and 7 pm!! He was very unapologetic and didn't offer to make any changes in the time. I am elderly and cannot do that kind of lifting. The next morning I was able to call You Move Me in Vancouver and they were extremely helpful and polite to me. They came out and unloaded my truck and picked up my furniture and I was able to get my Penske truck returned on time. I would not count on S and K Delivery and would not recommend them to my worst enemy!! read more
