I took 3 outdoor light fixtures to the UPS in West Linn, OR. on Feb. 20 to mail back to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They were able to print the label for one unit, but couldn't print the other two. I asked if they could keep the lights at the store and I would resolve the issue from home, then e-mail them labels, which I did. I asked them to send me a confirmation by e-mail that they had been sent. I didn't hear anything. I was sick, and it took 2 weeks to go back to the store to see what had happened. The emails with the labels were in the computer, they had received them. I was told by an employee named Zac, or Zen. However the light fixtures were not there. Zac or Zen said the person responsible (who had told me they would put the items in the back and then label them once they had the labels) would be coming in soon. I went home. Several hours later I received a phone call stating "I've already spoken to my manger and due to the circumstances of this event we are unable to take ownership of this mistake that was made. The best course of action would be to contact the original center of the item and request the original tracking from what it was sent to you. A return lave or 777(?). Have a good day." Luckily, I missed the phone call, so I have the message on my phone still. I called back and asked the same person who had left the phone message to have the store manager call me that day (3/13) or the following day. She didn't call. The lights were $115.89 each, so now I am out $231.75. However, I do intend to contact UPS at Corporate and not let this go. The employee at the store took possession of the light fixtures. He agreed to print and put the labels on the boxes, and now he is saying that is not the stores problem?? Even though he admits the store made a mistake. This is unacceptable. I want to be reimbursed for my items. I want an apology for this situation. read more

I sent a 2 day, air delivery package to the New York through this UPS store. It was quite expensive but ensured guaranteed delivery. The package did not arrive until very late on day 5, and therefore did not make it into the hands of the person intended. I have been getting the run around for well over a month from the store, with the manager refusing to return my calls and requests for reimbursement. She continues to have the very kind young women working the counter tell me "the check is in the mail" and instructs them not to give her contact information. This obviously puts them in an unfair position having to deal with an increasingly dissatisfied customer. This manager, Misty I believe her name is, has no accountability and very poor leadership, not to mention, the minimal responses I've received from her have been completely dishonest. read more

2 packages were lost that I shipped with this WEst Linn UPS location. I shipped gift cards from this UPS store and purchased insurance for a $300 value. The package was lost so I submitted a claim. I spent 3 weeks trying to collect only to find out UPS does NOT INSURE GIFT CARDS. It was deceptive a business practice to sell me insurance when ups does NOT insure the contents of my package. So, I'm out $300. Use FedEx which is more reliable. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a notary for 4:30pm. I tried to call the store that morning to confirm. I got a recorded press 1 for this and 2 for that recording-couldn't talk to a human to confirm. I got there early, only to find out the notary had to unexpectedly leave early. A phone call from them would have saved me the trip and an hour of wasted time. They said sorry when I got there. I called another UPS store. They actually answered. They had a notary but they were closing in 10 min. Had the original store on Willamette/hwy 43 called me when the notary left hours before- I could have gone to the other store. Very disappointed in the Customer Service or lack of it. read more

Do not use this location. I had two phones to send to Verizon. I had an email with a QR code and instructions that UPS store would box and mail them back. The girl I spoke with (3) times said that they didn't have a contract with Verizon. I showed her the email and she still denied it. I contacted Verizon and UPS and they in fact DO have a contract. The manager finally called me back today after two voicemail calls and said that I didn't understand She said the girl was new. Which is fine. I totally get that but she said it was me who didn't understand. Apparently the girl was overwhelmed reading an email and I was in the wrong. So take it for what it's worth. I will never use this location again. UPS headquarters and Verizon will be dealing with them next. Blaming the customer when you didn't train your employee correctly isn't the customer's fault period. read more

Used their printing service and wanted to pick up same day. Was told it was $20 extra charge on a $30 order. They said that this is listed on their site and they don't do same day which is also listed. But honestly, before I clicked pay I tried to see when they would be ready for pick up. Never saw the 24-48 hour possible time delay. I would have gone to Kinkos in person. Just be aware. read more

Shipped a box home while vacationing there. Previously lived in West Linn, so knew it was there. 18x16x10 box cost= $10.25. Basic packing materials = $8.75. There were NO packing materials placed inside the box. Zero. No paper. No air pillows. My newly purchased items beat around in the box all the way to SoCal. Two items arrived damaged. Only packing materials used at all were two pieces of tape on the box. Basic packaging service = $4.75. So, $4.75 to place 2 pieces of tape on the box. And an additional $58.44 for UPS shipping Called and left name and number to speak with owner. Owner never returned call. Not only are they overcharging, they have no customer service. read more

UPS should shut this store down. Poor management, customer service, and dependability. My daughter dropped off a picture to be blown up and printed on 1/30/25 and was promised it would be ready by Monday 2/3/25. We called on Monday and were told no one in the store knows how to operate the copier needed. The picture was a present that we were giving on Wednesday 2/5/25. Received a call on Wednesday that the picture was ready. Drove there on the way to the party and it was not even started. Employee called his boss who promised to have it done Thursday. Was also told we would receive a credit for the inconvenience. Picked up the picture Thursday and we I asked about the credit I was told that they could only give me an 80% return and they would have to keep the picture Employee was rude and dishonest. I wouldn't mail a letter from this place. The inside is dirty and disorganized, it's no wonder they have so many bad reviews about losing packages and poor customer service. FYI there is a UPS store down the street in Lake Oswego (333 S State Street) 5 minutes away. They are fantastic there, much better option. read more

I've had a box at this location for twenty years. TWENTY YEARS. Miss large and in charge Misty took over from Kyle who knew me by name and actually though he wasn't tidy and uptight, was good at his job. I have a store at the beach and this is the location in town where I receive bills, etc. Even since Misty came I've received stuff for my store. One day a vendor notifies me that I'm on suspension for not paying a bill. I said I haven't got it. They sent me a copy of the envelope it has been returned by this Misty person because that particular name was not on my account. When I confronted her she lied and lied and lied. "We called you and left multiple messages." No you didn't. I've never received a phone call from you. I get texts when packages come. No phone call. "Well is fixed now because you came in awhile back and clarified it for us." No I didn't. I've never had you approach me about my account. Not when I paid my annual bill or lately. She is not friendly too long time customers. She's parsimonious and rude. The rich thing was the next week I went in, in response to a text, and Misty herself sent me out with somebody else's box. I had to drive back to get the correct one. As soon as I retire, can't wait to close that out with a bang. read more

Very rude clerk. Took in a USPS Flat rate priority envelope that didn't even weigh a pound and was charged $16.66! When I questioned the price, all I was told was every store charges differently. Are you kidding me? Clerk was very unfriendly and didn't seem to want to discuss the price further. It was either pay it or take your business elsewhere attitude. The former ownership was horrid. It's everything I can do to get there by 6:30pm when they close and former employees w previous management would be locking the door at 6:25pm and heading home. New management is much better, same w the employees. I do wish the store would close at 7pm and I think the P.O. boxes are a little high priced. But I wasn't able to get a P.O. box anywhere else without a wait list. Over all, it's a nice improvement since I first started going there about 2yrs ago. read more
