This sweet business deserves as much love and support as this community is able to give. I did a "too good to go" pick up from them, and they were so nice. I can tell it's a lovely community hang out for parents and kids after school. Such a welcoming environment The sweets though. My goodness, it will take me a while to try everything, but so far it's all been delicious

I ordered a surprise sweet and savory bag on the TooGoodtoGo app that was supposed to be valued at $21. This is what I received. The food smelled old. The cornbread and cake were extremely hard. Nothing was fresh or close too it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal at the restaurant on Saturday, so much so that I returned on Tuesday to experience it again. I discovered a new spot that added to the overall dining experience.

I hate to negatively impact the 5 star rating but I realized there was only one posted review where the customer had a good experience. Sorry to say, I did not. I was looking forward to some delicious food based on the pictures and review. Unfortunately, I could not consume the product. I ordered chicken wings and they both had a weird texture and flavor. They were all swimming in butter /grease...the seasonings were in a liquid pool at the bottom of the foil packet. Whatever flavor remained on the meat was minimal. The lemon pepper tasted tangy and the other flavor was non-descript. I could go on but I will stop here

There was plenty of room for pups to spread out, and I saw dogs enjoying themselves both outside and inside the restaurant. It felt like everyone was welcome. Naturally, I ordered from the Pup Menu. I chose the grilled chicken and rice bowl, and I can confidently report that it was excellent. Fresh, simple, and completely disappeared within minutes. The humans seemed happy with their meals too. They ordered a strip steak, salmon, and a salad, and I didn't hear a single complaint from their side of the table. The staff were incredibly friendly and made a point of welcoming me as an actual guest instead of just someone's dog. Between the dedicated dog menu, the spacious patio, and the warm service, it's easy to see why this place is so popular with pet owners. If you're visiting Houston with your dog, Lazy Dog is an easy recommendation. Dogba's verdict: Five paws. Excellent chicken. Outstanding customer service. Finally, a restaurant that knows to hand me a menu first.

From the counter where they still take your order by one and paper (and where you can see the incredibly fresh produce on the prep tables in the kitchen), to the tables and booths, and the red and yellow ketchup and mustard bottles. It was awesome. Know what was more awesome? The food. This was our first time here, grabbing a bite while our car as getting tinted. We got two burger combos, which came with thick crinkle fries and a drink, plus an order of onion rings to share. The burger was great...patty was well-seasoned, and the toppings were crispy fresh. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. But the onion rings stole the show. Having worked at burger places before and having made hand battered onion rings firsthand, I can attest these were legit. Batter was perfect, onions cut thick where you can still feel the texture and taste the sweetness. I'll say it now...best in the greater Houston area. We live no where close to this place. But that will not stop us from coming back. New burger spot locked in for us!

Structurally lovely and well cooked but not particularly well seasoned (and this stood out more in relation to how great the chili cheese fries were).

You walk to the front of the house where Angie immediately greets you with all the southern hospitality on the planet. Teams are smashing whole potatoes into fries and the place is BUZZING with activity. Clean including bathrooms. Food was ready faster than you can expect and steaming hot. First bite and you're like likely one of the best cheesesteaks I've had and I'm a fan of them. I did not get spicey but will be back to try it and possibly tomorrow. Toasted Kaiser roll crunched at first bite. Just an awesome sandwhich. So glad I found this hidden Houston gem. Now I have to work out an extra thirty minutes at the gym because this will be a once a week stop. Well done to this team. VERY IMPRESSED.

At the drive-thru, the interaction felt rushed and somewhat dismissive. There was no greeting at the window, and when I requested an extra honey mustard for my 5-count chicken tenders (since only one is typically provided), I was told there would be an additional charge. I didn't mind paying because I wanted enough sauce for my meal, but the tone felt a bit irritated. After placing my order, I pulled forward to wait. A different employee brought my food and was very pleasant and courteous, which I appreciated. However, when I checked my order, the extra sauce I paid for was not included. I had to go back through the line to address it. The original employee did provide the missing sauce at that point, and her demeanor was more positive during that interaction. The main issue came at the end of my meal, when I found a hair in the bottom of my fry basket. That completely ruined my experience. Overall, I've had better visits in the past, but based on this experience, I'm hesitant about returning.
