I ordered the steak and cheese sub, and when it came, there was almost nothing on the sandwich. The steak was almost nonexistent, and the mushrooms almost completely covered what little meat was on the sandwich. When I called the store in Stafford, Texas, the manager said that a trainee had made it. She doesn't know how to monitor the employees, and I was tired of listening to the excuses. New to Stafford so we're trying all the nearest places to see what we like best. Downloaded their app to order pizzas for pickup. Very easy process to sign up and they show great photos to give you a good idea what you're getting. We tried a variety of their styles to get a feel for what they do best. Everything was ready when promised. The restaurant was empty at the time hut seemed clean. I could see myself dining in if the situation was right. I have gotten coupons for Marco's Pizza in the mail for years and I have never given them a try. I see the coupons, think "wow, that is a good deal", and then promptly throw it into the recycle pile. Now that I know how good there pizza is, I am lamenting having wasted so many pizza coupons! I could have been eating there for years!!! Ordered two large pizzas: the works and magnificient pepperoni. Got both with half cheese as since I am lactose intolerant. The works: semi thin crust with sauce topped with pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, green bell peppers, maybe something else I am missing. Everything worked so well together. The sauce had a good amount of tang and the crust was cooked well. Magnificent pepperoni: I didn't try this because I don't like pepperoni (I know, blasphemy). However, the people who did try it raved about the pepperoni. Two styles of pepperoni, cheese, sauce, and bread. People love this stuff. They say you can tell how good a pepperoni pizza is by how much grease is left in the box. Judging by this box, it was darn good. Only critique would be the crust was a little thin. The pizza was pretty good, but the buffet is rather small with limited options. Supposedly they usually have some sort of lettuce and tomato out as well but that wasn't there today. Similar tasting pizza to Double Daves which closed in Sugar Land so really your only buffet option that isn't CiCi's. All the orders I've placed in the past have been decent. It's better than a lot of chain pizza places. I ordered the small white cheezy without bacon this last time. Usually they ask me what crust I would like but they didn't this time. The pizza should have onions, tomatoes, garlic parmesan sauce, the three-cheese blend, and feta. Generally, I usually place the order at Marco's and go get a Starbucks, and come back. This time, my pizza was not ready because they waited to ask me if it's ok if it doesn't have tomatoes because they ran out. I think it's nice of them to wait and ask me though, even though I did have to wait a little longer. I think the only thing that bothered me a little was that they didn't wear gloves while making the dough? Maybe it's a standard for making pizzas, but just seeing it makes me think about it. After about an hour of waiting, I called to check on the pizza status and was informed that my pizzas had not been put in the oven yet due to a large order they were completing before my order. I am only giving this review 2 stars because of the previous good history my family has had with this Marco's. However our experience on yesterday would get 1 star. First the delivery driver - He has delivered to our house once before and just as he did that first time, he called me claiming he could not find the residence. The house numbers are HUGE and are posted in plain sight. So I proceeded outside to help him "find" the house yet again. He then pulls up and doesn't even get out the car to hand off the pizzas, he gives them to me through the passenger side window. Second - We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza for the kiddos. And when we opened the box, we were greeted with a severely overcooked (burned) pizza. Needless to say the kiddos were not happy and could not eat the pizza (Picture included). Even our pit bull turned down the pizza after having a hard time chewing it. BUT I did call the store and the owner made us another pizza that we had to go pick up ourselves because "deliveries were already behind schedule" (probably because the driver couldn't locate houses - but I digress). This place is good. Order the old world pepperonis to change you life. I also like that they deliver and the driver is on time and friendly. Ordered this for delivery. We ordered the medium deluxe uno with Parmesan cheese crust. It took approximately 25 minutes to arrive at our house, which is fairly quick. The delivery driver called us when he was on the way to let us know he will be arriving shortly. I kinda liked that. Rather just waiting and it knowing my when pizza would get delivered. The only downside I had was there was too much cheese, that it overpowered the taste. I picked half the cheese off the pizza. Marco's pizza is trying very hard in a competitive pizza market. Not to sure what they can do to level up to stand out. They offer great deals even with the AP, even better deals but it had to beat the Pizzeria's or the usual quick pizzas with their vast deals. read more

Ordered pizzas at 8:40 on a Tuesday night. Waited. Waited. 1 hour later we called the store. Manager said our pizza was delivered. We assured him it was not. Manager called driver - who admitted he had not delivered our pizzas, but Manager did not call us back. Called again. Manager said pizza was "on the way" and he had no way to provide any compensation for a pre-paid tip. At 10:30 we received two cold pizzas. The last visit, the pizza had not even been started after an hour and there was just one other customer in the place in the middle of the afternoon. I ordered a small extra thin supreme , to go, today. It was hot when I got back to work and absolutely delicious. Loved that it actually had mushrooms, onion, peppers, Italian sausage and not a skimpy hint if the ingredients- I could taste the sauce but it was crispy! I ordered spinach instead of pepperoni. Could have had a bit more spinach but the spinachh was layered on the crust vs on top which I liked! So good and will be back. I ordered and it was ready 9 minutes later. I noticed sometimes it's delicious and sometimes I throw the entire pizza in the trash.... which sucks because no one wants to lose money.... Based on previous reviews, the place fit my general expectations; reasonable lunch buffet, decent pizza. Nothing special, but better than some of the more popular chains. One thing that stood out to me about this place was that they play 94.5 the Buzz (rock/alternative) on the radio--a refreshing alternative to the Top 40 pop music most restaurants like to play. I would probably stop by again next time I'm in the area, but probably only for the $8 lunch buffet, which also includes a drink. read more

I ordered two extra-large pizzas one All Meat Pizza and one Pepperoni Magnifico Pizza. I did not check the pizzas while I was in the restaurant, I opened them when I got home, and I was totally disappointed. My family are meat eaters and these pizzas had one piece a meat to 6 inches of crust ratio. The pizzas looked nothing like the advertisement. I do not know if there is a ration on meat at the restaurant, but I do not eat cheese pizza and that is what I got cheese and crust. I had stopped ordering from the location and would pass it up and drive all the way to the location in Missouri City on Highway 6 because the Highway 6 location has a better product. I've had macros a few times never really had any disappointments. Probably the best pizza I've had in Texas. Wish there were more locations in the inner Houston limits. I've had Marcos in the woodlands and in stafford not really in medical center. Would be perfect to have a macros there. read more
