OMG NEVER MISSES! We try and come to OMG Baked Potatoes a few times a year...the food is sooo rich and tasty so we gotta eat it in moderation. This time we went by for the sale potatoes 12$ but of course my husband went above and beyond on his order and got oxtail, shrimp and lobster...that was not on sale lol. But all too good! *Black owned food truck* We were going for something new and different, and we attempted another spot like theirs, but they weren't serving certain things and were out of other things, and I suggested we try them instead! I'm so glad I did, too. The owner was there taking orders, and he was the friendliest man ever. He gave suggestions of his menu faves, and he gave us advice on our new business endeavors out in Houston. He was really a nice man! We got 3 different options 2 baked potatoes and 1 pasta dish. First let's start with the ambiance. I went to the food truck location outside of target. It's Texas, it's September, it's hot. Not much they can do about that. Mad respect to them cooking in this heat lol. Service was great. The owners are helpful when taking your order, offering recommendations, etc.. not much else they could do. The food was good. My potato was banging. I had the OMG 4 and it was stacked. Very nice flavor. The only meat I wasn't a huge fan of was the rib, but everyone has their preferred rub/taste. My chicken also was not hot, nothing a microwave couldn't fix. Overall, still delicious 4/5 My sister had the seafood bake, and for some reason her food wasn't piping either. Warm but not hot. Also I think for the price of the plate, I don't know if I love tilapia being the choice of meat on top. The shrimp, crawfish, broccoli etc was fine! We'd give this one a 3.5/5. We're coming back. They were out of the oxtail potato and that's the one I'm itching to try. read more

Get into this BAKED POTATO! This is the steak and shrimp baked potato and when I tell you it is BIG - WHEW - literally puts the OMG in its name! Apparently I needed to follow the OMG Baked Potatoes on Instagram to know their location. When arrived I was met with a warm smile and some suggestions on what to try. The prices clearly have changed because the bill was $50 for two potatoes that only have chicken and sausage on them. The flavor and seasoning was decent. However the container was filled with boiled potatoes, no actual potato stuffed to the rim. So the texture resembled soggy boiled potatoes that had no butter or salt. Came here for the first time on 10/9 and I'm impressed. This place is a gem. The customer service was top notch, definitely a southern vibe. Not to mention, black owned! The wait time was a little long, but nothing extreme. I know they was in there whipping it up lol so by all means, take ya time.
