I thoroughly enjoyed the burgers that I picked up from S. Ottomanelli and Sons Prime Meat in the butcher section of their establishment. I brought them home to cook for my family and they were juicy, moist and flavorful. The only seasoning I put on them was salt and pepper because these are the types of burgers that shine all on their own. I can tell that they use a high-quality blend of red meats in their burgers and they give you a choice of either ¼ or 1/2 lb burger patties which I can appreciate since sometimes I am in the mood for a thicker burger and other times, I prefer thinner patties. They have a rich family legacy that goes back many generations and put a lot of love and care into their products and am happy to patronize their business for their quality, friendliness and community support. They are worth the trip with the 7 train.

8oz flat iron steak

I went here for the $19 steak lunch special. I was able to seat inside the place .it was empty around 5 pm . I started w/ the salad that comes w/ the rolls of bread, and butter It's a flat iron steak , that pre cut for you when it comes out! I ask for cream spinach and onion rings. My spinach was luke warm , but still delicious and tasty.the onion rings were fresh and hot ! Definitely give them a few minutes to cool before eating! The steak I ordered it Medium. It's a bit bland so I add A-1 Steak sauce . Maybe next time I order it Medium rare . Service is ok. You're seating inside a small restaurant w/ the butcher shop inside too incase you want some meat togo . Over all the price is totally reasonable for what you're paying for. I just wish , I could order i different slice of steak. But for sure you can't get a better deal in woodside in the area ...

Get a 20oz steak and a burger for $52 because I am starving. This price even comes with bread and salad. The $13 burger was great. Of course it can't compete with those $28 dry aged burger in the city. However, it is still a juicy, but not particularly beefy burger. The steak was the highlight of the meal, although it is not particularly cheap comparing to the burger. I first thought it wouldn't live up to the great steak standards. I was totally wrong. Crispy crust on the outside. Tender, juicy, inside with perfectly dry aged flavor. I failed to pull it apart in the video, but literally, it fell apart without any use of your knife. The only slight complaint is that serving burger and steak at the same time made the steak cooled down after finishing my burger. A heated plates will fix the problem. When I entered, I was a bit tripped cause I thought this is a casual deli style store. So I grabbed a menu and found a seat by myself. Soon I found myself wrong, this is a place with serving. Sorry for the trouble that I caused, both of you are friendly.

Bacon wrapped filet mignon.

We've wanted to go for some time and it was everything we heard -- and more! We were originally going for burgers, but took one look at the meat display and quickly changed course. The bacon wrapped filet mignon and rib eye were both cooked perfectly, moan worthy in fact. The meat was tender and delicious, and the sides we chose, creamed spinach and baked potatoes, were plentiful and tasty. The team was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and we ended up buying burgers, sausage and steak to make at our tailgate. We will definitely go back! Oh yeah, all gluten free!

$19 steak deal with two sides (only steak shown)

The steak special is great! Just wish they had all the veggies side dishes available that day. The restaurant is very tiny so make sure to make a reservation. Would return for the $19 steak special which comes with two sides but would skip the burger.

This is ridiculous. The store open at 9 am but the butcher doesn't work until 11:30. They are welcome you to visit the butcher store but you cannot buy any meat.

I just had to see what all the local hype is about !! Found this diamond in the rough on Tik Tok of course and we went today for dinner. Amazing experience. As satisfying as the food was, the staff was particularly warming, first time here but felt very cozy like home. Such friendly staff. Food was delicious!! Definitely worth the 20 minutes wait for the seating. Definitely recommend and will be back !

Great meat at great prices. These guys have been in the business literally their whole lives, and it shows. My first visit was right before Easter, looking for beef ribs to smoke. Not only did I get them, but Mike and Frank actually had a lamb there that I took home and smoked for the holiday. I've been back a couple of times and everything I've got from them has been top quality.

I wish I had a place like this in Jersey! Prime dry aged rib eye at $15.99/lb. Now $18.99. These prices are unreal! The meat quality was incredible. We seared it on the grill until medium rare and it was one of the best cuts of meat we have ever had. We no longer to need to break the bank at Luger's or Wolfgang's for premium steak. The guys behind the counter are also very friendly and love to talk food. So jealous of the Woodside community for having this butcher in their hood.

Prime 21 Aged Bone in Rib Eye Steaks cut an inch thick with Italian seasoning

Anyone who knows me knows I don't cook for squat. I enjoy cooking but I am too critical of myself and I hate cleaning and doing the dishes, so the only thing I make are deliveries and reservations =) Steak is the one thing I don't mind making since it is more forgiving and if you start with an amazing product, you will typically finish with an amazing product. On the day I visited, the guys at the counter were super friendly and helpful, also the variety of the prime aged steaks were freakin mouth watering! They had prime as well as dry aged prime anything from Rib eye to New York Strip, Porterhouse, Pork chops, lamb chops, sausages etc. You can get the steaks adjusted to how thick you want it, the butcher suggested an inch thick and it came out great. I bought up some rib eyes and some marinated lamb and took it over a friend's house where Denise C fired up the meats. Oh sweet meaty Jesus... The food: Prime 21 Aged Bone in Rib Eye Steaks cut an inch thick with Italian seasoning. Perfection! The steaks were excellent, so insanely tender, great flavor on the beef and the Italian seasoning was a nice accompaniment. The marbling on the steak was very impressive, it was so juicy. This was easily the best homemade steak I ever had and better than some of the steakhouses I have been to. Next time I will try the dry aged prime New York Strip. Marinated lamb- The lamb had a really nice lamb flavor but was a tad on the chewy side. The lamb cut easily with the knife but was a tad hard to chew, especially when it cooled down.

Good price dry aged steaks. And the burger is also amazing, a place that's worth the trip. Great to stop by if you are in woodside.

We decided to stop by since we wanted to give something around here a try…read more We came in & were seated right away, drinks Passion fruit & Mango shakes w milk instead of water, very good but a bit filling. Chorizo for appetizer great tasting but u may not need it they start u off w some warm bread & cheese, salami app very good depending on how hungry u are I'd say u can skip the appetizer. Main dishes Milanesa à la napolitana this was good, way too many onions but good comes with rice & beans. I had the Pechuga de pollo la provenzal, yumm this was delicious the sauce is so tasty, I got it w tostones great since dipping into the sauce. Next time, Ice tea & Sprite for drinks not bad, no apps since they start u off w that bread. I had the Meat special #4 , This comes with 2 pieces of steak & chorizo , got it w tostones the meat was very flavorful, cooked just right , comes w a chimichurri sauce so good. We also had the Pollo Provenzal again, man that sauce is amazing got it w fried yuca, it was very good. This place is a one stop shop, butcher style Meats for sale, some Argentinian desserts, candy & merchandise they seem to have a little bit of everything. Good size location, decent decor & service. Prices are seasonable since they do give u a good portion size. Good neighborhood spot, this place was a good find & chances are we will continue to visit from time to time.

That was enough for us to decide we will not be returning. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. The food has generally been good, which is why my family continued returning and recommending it to others. Our history with the restaurant has not been without issues. Years ago, we stopped coming after a Mother's Day incident involving my grandmother. We had been seated in the upstairs dining room (when it was still open), only to later be told by the owner that we did not have a reservation and that we had to leave. After several years, we decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and eventually started coming back again. Unfortunately, today confirmed that the earlier incident was not simply bad luck. I was dining with my parents. We ordered two steaks, two appetizers, three sides, a bottle of wine and later a second bottle (of which we only drank half), along with four after-dinner drinks, cappuccino, and dessert. It was clearly a very busy day, and service was slower than usual. Because of the restaurant's pace, our meal ended up lasting a little over three hours. We were patient the entire time and never complained. After we finished eating and were simply finishing our drinks, the owner, Marcelo, approached our table and remarked that we had been there for three hours and were now only drinking alcohol, indirectly suggesting that his establishment was not a bar but a place for dining. Considering that we had just spent several hundred dollars and have been customers for decades, the comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. We immediately asked for the check and left. For context, I am a physician and understand the pressures of demanding work environments. However, professionalism and respect toward customers should always come first. Over the years, my family has typically spent between $300 and $500 per visit here. Unfortunately, after this experience, this will be the last time we come. There are many excellent Argentinian and Uruguayan steakhouses where customers are treated with appreciation and respect, and that is where we will be going moving forward.
