I visited Ozz Chef with my wife & our team for Miami Swim Week. We just did our first fashion show and wanted to go out to eat, not only to celebrate but because we were hungry. Came here for a birthday dinner and the ambience was great, the staff was really nice but here are the take aways. That's the only justification for the two stars. 1. No liquor license so don't expect much, only wine and beer. Though our server was really nice and tried to accommodate us as best as he could with mocktail remixes 2. The food is horrible, it tastes like everything is frozen and they're just warming it up. No flavor but very overpriced. Photo'd is "chicken schnitzel" it was just a sliced chicken patty with fries. 3. Inside seating is limited but the outside is super spacious and decorated nicely. This place is one of my favorite, they have very good happy hour the drinks are pretty and tasty and they have hookah for the ones who smoke and also pretty good flavors in my opinion . The food there are really good , I've tried almost the entire menu by now lol . The osobuco is amazing for me that's the best dish in their entire menu, the tantuni beef taco is made table side , salmon tartare etc. For dessert crème brûlée and baklava are on point . Mixed feelings. I had so much hope in finding a good turkish restaurant in Miami. The good: Best Pide ever. The cheese and lamb pide is perfection. The bad: I came for the adana kebab. Was disapointed. It was a bit on the dry side. Priced as if we were in Manhattan the single kebab came with some cold, tasteless, mexican tortillas instead of lavash, some sumac onions and one grilled tomato. And to add insult to injury, if you want rice they sell a cup of rice as a side, for 8 dollars. Then when we ordered a shish kebab we were given 3 tasteless lamb chops with 4 asparagus which we didn't bother to complain about. To top the discomfort we were charged $7 for each cup of turkish tea. No concept of free refills despite the already outrageous price. Btw, no lunch menu or specials. I would be very surprised if they are able to survive in the very competitive restaurant landscape here. Which is really a pity. And the 3 occupied tables on a Friday may already point to that. I don't usually leave reviews but this has to be said. This establishment f**led up severely by somehow managing to get glass in my meal. I bit into this huge chunk of glass which could basically kill you if you swallow it. Came for a light Sunday night dinner and ran across the place by accident as we hadn't seen it on Yelp or Google before. Sat inside and chose a couple appetizers (cheese pide and muhammasa) and a couple entrees with cocktails (salmon and lamb chops) and cocktails (lychee martini, espresso martini). Overall food was very good - appetizers excellent as were the drinks. Waitress was very nice but a bit unclear about what came with items on the menu. Was told chops and salmon came with just asparagus, nothing else so we ordered an extra side rice to share (small bowl at $8, mins of steep), but our entrees also included rice... so we ended up with a ton of extra unnecessary rice we wouldn't have otherwise ordered. Lamb chops were good but I've had better. Coffee and baklava at end were good. Also I don't know if it was because we were an hour away from closing, but the AC inside was uncomfortably hot... we chose to sit inside to avoid the muggy weather outside but may have done better with the outdoor breeze after all. We were sweating and stuck to the couch. Overall pretty good and might consider returning if in area and in the mood for this type of food. read more

Decided to try this brand new place located in Brickell. We were skeptical because there were no reviews but we made last-minute reservations and decided to give it a shot since we were only minutes away. This place turned out to be a very cute place for couples or small groups. It was raining when we got there but they still seated us outside which was fine because they had huge umbrellas outside that covered us. They had lights and flowers/plants all throughout which was cute. Our initial plan was to have dinner and hookah but it was just so quiet and a little awkward so we just had our dinner and drinks. Because this place is so new they did not have a drink menu but they could make anything you ask them to; pretty much an open bar. The food was well portioned and tasted good but it took too long to come out even with barely any guests there. The drinks were not good at all - the espresso martini tasted just like coffee and my Cosmo was drenched in triple sec. The staff was nice and kept checking on us and asking if we were having a good time or if we enjoyed the food, likely, because they needed that feedback for a brand new establishment. I think I will give this place a couple more months to find their niche and maybe give it a try again and do hookah this time. read more

The aesthetic of this place is really beautiful and the service is great. The hookah is the worst hookah we've ever had. It did not pull whatsoever even when adding more coals and getting new coals. They have a lot of flavors, but the actual hookah is horrible. My hookah at home with one instant coal pulls more than this. The drinks were really good, but the food was horrible. The filet mignon tasted like fake meat. The fettuccine tasted like Olive Garden pasta (word for word what my friend said). This place has potential, but don't waste your money here. They have a few things they need to fix, especially for the heavy prices. We paid $360 and were extremely disappointed. The high prices would be totally fine if it was actually worth it. read more
