When I visited their showroom, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful displays. It was easy to picture those designs in my own home, and the space really helped bring my vision to life. A special shout out to Lindsay. She is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met and has an incredible eye for design. I connected with her ideas almost immediately, and her guidance made all the difference in creating a kitchen that feels both functional and stunning. As the process continued, I was given a tour of their warehouse, which was honestly breathtaking. The amount of selection and the possibilities available made it clear that I could truly create my dream kitchen. Another thing I truly appreciated was their pricing. It was very competitive, transparent, and honest, which gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the entire process. From delivery to installation, everything was seamless and hands free. The level of organization, communication, and professionalism from start to finish was something I truly valued. Thank you, Ridge Cabinetry, for taking such great care of me. I could not be happier with the experience, and my new kitchen looks absolutely amazing!

They have several cabinetry lines to choose from, one of which, Pioneer, will let you pick ANY Sherwin Williams color for your cabinets. ANY COLOR! Pricing is easy and if you are going with a white shaker they stock it in their warehouse in Madison Heights. Staff is beyond helpful. The owner is often onsite which I find great for a small business. I love giving my business to locals who are doing it right! Why go to Home Depot or Lowes when you can get a better quality product, superior service and support a local small business?

I highly recommend Complete Kitchen Design. Bill, Joe, and the rest of the team were great to work…read morewith. When we moved into our house, the kitchen was outdated. It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Had our kitchen done 25 years before and it took months to be completed (a true nightmare). Joe Allen was so patient with us because we had no idea what we wanted plus he designed a perfect change that we needed. Every morning he showed up to check on the job and even helped with moving out all our old appliances. I enjoyed working with his son who also help in picking out backsplash and colors. We were so pleased with them that I would call them again and highly recommend them. Whats nice you can tell they love what they are doing and their work shows it. Another quick note CKD was so fast at coming to give us a quote and very reasonable. Eileen S.

We recently contracted Alco Glass to replace two severely cracked countertops. The process…read moreinitially appeared smooth, and the installation tech presented himself professionally. However, once the installation was completed, our experience declined significantly. The installer left immediately after finishing the job without inviting us to review the work or confirm that it met our expectations. Upon inspection, we discovered several issues that were concerning. The silicone caulking was applied poorly, with uneven lines and visible gaps that should not have been present. In some areas, the silicone was not properly adhered and could easily be pulled away, which raises concerns about both durability and safety. Despite two return visits to address the issue, the caulking remains substandard and visually unprofessional. He claimed to us he had a "hard time seeing" but was not wearing glasses the first time he came back. He wore glasses the 2nd time he retuned to fix the issues, but that didn't seem to help. He also left silicone on several parts of the solid counter itself and did not wipe it away. Additionally, one of the glass countertops appears to have been cut unevenly, resulting in odd gaping between the edges on both sides. When we asked about this, we were told there were "Tolerances" allowed when cutting. I can't believe that such a difference would be allowed that it caused the gap to be wider on one side than the other. The installer also removed the white foam that had been placed between the glass and the wooden frame beneath. Rather than consulting us about replacing it, he simply colored the exposed wood with black marker and installed the glass over it. Because the glass is transparent, the wood is clearly visible, creating an unattractive and inconsistent appearance compared to our existing countertops. When we inquired about the missing foam, the installer stated that there had never been any material between the glass and the wood, which is inaccurate. Our other countertops clearly show the same white foam in place. You can even see on the wood where he colored in the remaining pieces of foam he couldn't remove with a sharpie. Furthermore, when we pointed out a noticeable gap in the silicone between the glass and the solid countertop, we were told it "could not be filled," which we find difficult to understand. Another concern is that the installer consistently left the premises before we had the opportunity to review the work, preventing any real-time feedback or approval of the completed job. Overall, we are very disappointed with the quality of workmanship and the lack of communication throughout the installation process. At this point, we will likely need to redo the silicone ourselves or hire another professional to correct the issues. Given this experience, and the fact that it cost over $2000 for such shoddy work, we would not consider using Alco Glass again for future projects.

Great selection, very knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasure to deal with. I use them consistently.read more

After…read morecontemplating several alternatives for our home we chose to work with Dillman & Upton primarily considering our initial experience with their designer and our perception of their team's quality Beginning with our first conversation, we believed that our designer provided sound advice and guidance, had valuable experience, was knowledgeable, considerate, thorough, and accessible for advice, suggestions and questions. The designer proved out, thankfully. Interactions with the D&U office staff were overall good. A significant surprise was the assignment of both subcontractors other than D&U's usual team. While it is impossible to directly compare our subcontractors with D&U's longstanding team, our's did not have deep, meaningful, value added experience dealing with D&U schematics, overall design and details. This required or significant involvement of our time to interpret details of the blueprint to affect the design goals. We had to call our designer and adjourn major meetings several times for reinforcement of the construction details. Requesting and requiring that some work being redone and changed to conform with a specific design specifications. We had to be our own advocate for a correct job and request repairs for damages to our home (three walls which require our own sanding, priming and repainting). Most disconcerting we had to be our own on-site project manager. A very important aspect we believe dealing with D&U would have provided. Perhaps D&U will say this is over stated and normal construction angst. However, we do not believe it was completed in good faith, as contracted and representative. It was far more tension to get what we paid for wanted or believe was appropriate. In retrospect we believe that the subcontractors should've been highly versed in D&U design goals and had the ability and desire to fully comprehend blueprints and call D&U directly when necessary to discern and clarify. Is this the best craftsmanship that our community offers? Opportunity for improvement include addressing all of the above concerns. Additionally, the price, documentation and communication regarding change orders must be improved. We recognize that some contractors or self-motivated and completed high-quality work, the first time. At our projects conclusion the project, while painful several times, was mostly completed successfully.
