I ordered a single slice of cheese to go. It came out in a timely fashion. It was cooked very well with just enough crisp and black spots but also not burnt or crunchy or anything unpleasant. It was a great slice of pizza. My friend order two slices of pepperoni. We waited 15 minutes until my friend got back up and asked them about his slices, it seemed they had forgotten about it and then they quickly handed him his slices after apologizing for the long wait. Despite mine being great, his was not unfortunately. His looks like it was pulled out of the oven early and was still floppy. No crisp to it at all. That's what some people like but I don't believe it's the standard. Despite this, his slices tasted good, I mean, how can you mess up a pep slice. The prices were alright for the area, I think my slice was like almost $4 after tax. Ahhh definitely had high hopes for this pizza. This was supposed to be our first good meal for Bach weekend. I must say we were definitely disappointed by the quality of the pizza. Very think and cardboard tasting. They advertised a no cheese pizza for non-dairy consumers. It was a very thin layer of sauce with sporadic onions and peppers sprinkled throughout. You can't really go in and just order by the slice for the non dairy option, we had to buy it whole. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Staff was an easy 5 stars. This was so great to stumble upon for some "after dinner pizza!" We walked up to the counter to order and service was helpful and friendly. This spot has true jumbo slices and they were pretty good! It's a small side street shop, so you would benefit from getting the pizza and taking it back to you hotel, but there are a few tables inside and outside if you want to eat your pizza while it's hot. It's nearly impossible to get lunch for ten bucks these days, but you can still get two slices and a drink at Sabatino's! I got pepperoni so it was slightly more, but what a deal. The pizza here is super thin NY style, but they're big so two slices will fill you up at lunch time. I even saw some CofC girls come in and split the two slice deal. It's a tiny spot on the corner of King and Calhoun, but they have a few seats inside and a couple tables outside too. The services is pretty quick, but they do get busy at lunch time. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and after about 5 mins or so, I had a piping hot, crispy slice of delicious pizza. The crust was awesome, as was the sauce, cheese and pepperoni. It was a little greasy, so I had to dab with some napkins. Ok, It was a lot greasy. The napkin was soaked in red delicious grease. Others who had some loved it as well. Great place to stop for a big slice. It's small, so seating is limited, but there was seating outside too. If you're staying at the Francis Marion Hotel, it's right across the street. I visited Sabatino's for the first time about 6 months ago and I was very impressed. I had the cheese pizza and I loved it. SABATINOS is a cute little pizzaria in downtown Charleston really close to the main shopping section of king street and it's also pretty close to the college. There are only a couple of tables to eat at inside and a couple more outside but pizza is easy to eat just about anywhere and downtown is not short of places to sit for a bit. I went back today and I was not disappointed. I have to say, the crust on this pizza is incredible. It's just the right amount of thin that you get a good supported bite, but it's not the only thing you taste. And the edge crust is definitely the kind that you eat. It is so crispy and flavorful. The slices are really big too. I ordered 2 but I was satisfied with just one and I took it home and reheated it later in the microwave (not the best way to reheat, I know) and it came out still quite good. I was impressed even more than I was the first time I went. Today we went at a slow time on a Sunday evening so we had really fast service, but even when it's busy inside they do pretty good at keeping it moving. This is one of the best pizza places I have ever been to and almost certainly the best pizza in Charleston and the price point doesn't hurt either. read more

For $10 I got 1 large slice of pizza (you can pick any kind available - I got the meat pizza), 2 garlic rolls (really good) and a canned drink (I got a can of sweet tea which really really hit the spot on a warm day). There really wasn't much space to eat in the restaurant, but I walked back to the hotel with it while drinking the tea and eating one of the yummy garlic rolls.
