I love eating here when I'm working in West Ashley. It's a great spot to get a quick, inexpensive lunch special. That can be hard sometimes in peak lunch hours around the hospital. Great hoagies here.

Ordered a simple cheese pizza via DoorDash and was thoroughly impressed! The sauce and cheese were on point. Would definitely recommend!

Baroni roll ups are phenomenal. They're crispy and crunchy on the outside and Ooey gooey cheese and pepperoni on the inside.

Their pizza- yes it's thin, cheesy, and the ends of the pizza slice are phenomenal buttery flavored. The dough isn't too dry and the pizza is packed with flavor. I love how they have done in so you can order it and enjoy it while it's piping hot! The baroni roll-ups are to die for. I often crave and dream about the next time I'll taste them again. I don't know if it's the gooey cheese perfectly paired with pepperoni on the inside or that the bread on the outside is perfectly crisp and crunchy- but either way you must order them when you're here! Skip the garlic knots, when I order delivery or dine in, it's the same. It's huge, dried out, and not very well flavored- just overwhelmingly spicy from the amount of raw fresh garlic that's used. But hey, you might enjoy that, just not me. Like many pizza joints, customer service isn't top notch or phenomenal, they're there to take your order, payment, and get you your food. They're not rude but not exceptionally friendly either. Pizza joint feels you know?

Just dropped in for a slice. Great service. I judge pizza by the crust. Good crust. Fresh cheese. I'm in.

I enjoyed the greek salad we had, and thought it was one of the better greek style salads we have had since moving to Charleston.

They have a bar to serve your favorite beverages. This is a great place for families or just hanging out with friends. I ordered a veggie pizza. This is New York style pizza and the slices are huge. The crust was thin and bubbly. The sauce was delicious and the veggies were generous. The pizza was topped with fresh basil. I highly recommend.

Usually we prefer table service, but honestly the bar is the way to go here since you get a front row seat to the pizza making. We ordered a half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. As I saw the beautiful pies coming out of the oven they were all getting dressed with fresh parm and basil and I was worried I didn't add that for ours, but after feverishly flaging down our server he reasured me that all the pizzas come with the special treatment at the end (unless otherwise noted). As I calmed my nerves I sipped on some delicious bottle of sweet tea. It was only the slightest bit sweet and so refreshing. Plus we ordered a salad as well. We were concerned about the size of the salad when we saw our neighbors come out, but our server let us know we could get a half Caesar if we preferred. The salad is a must have. I love how they just chop the ends off the romain and add the perfect amount of dressing, crunchy bread crumbs, and loads of cheese. The pizza came out shortly after and it was perfection. If you're looking for thin crust northern style pizza then you will definitely find it here. They also use top notch ingredients making this a pizza one to remember. Surprisingly I enjoyed the sausage even more than the pepperoni. We were stuffed after only eating half the pie so we boxed it up and took some cannoli to go. They did half regular and half strawberries that had local strawberries mixed into the ricotta! We enjoyed all of it so much that we ordered the same items for takeout only a week later. I definitely enjoyed dining in more than takeout, but both are a great option. The online ordering was super easy and even though it was slammed when I arrived, they had my pizza, salad, and cannoli ready to go at the window when I arrived.

It was cooked very well…read morewith just enough crisp and black spots but also not burnt or crunchy or anything unpleasant. It was a great slice of pizza. My friend order two slices of pepperoni. We waited 15 minutes until my friend got back up and asked them about his slices, it seemed they had forgotten about it and then they quickly handed him his slices after apologizing for the long wait. Despite mine being great, his was not unfortunately. His looks like it was pulled out of the oven early and was still floppy. No crisp to it at all. That's what some people like but I don't believe it's the standard. Despite this, his slices tasted good, I mean, how can you mess up a pep slice. The prices were alright for the area, I think my slice was like almost $4 after tax. I'll probably be back because of the convenience of being able to just order and pay right away and then get a slice a few minutes later. I would overall recommend.

Sabatino's Pizza is mostly a carryout-style pizza shop with only one small table inside for dining…read more They offer a good variety of pizzas, and you can either order specialty pizzas or build your own. Pizza is also available by the slice, which is what I ended up getting. Originally, I wanted to order an 18-inch cheese pizza, but the waiter told me it would take about 30 minutes and recommended ordering by the slice instead. I tried the cheese pizza by the slice. The pizza had a classic New York-style feel, but my slice was a little dry and slightly burned. It was decent overall, just not the best pizza I've had. If you're looking for a quick carryout spot with New York-style pizza options, it may be worth trying, but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for pizza.

I will preface this by saying that I have a bad habit of visiting restaurants at weird times (4pm…read morein this case), after lunch but before they get into the groove of dinner service. So it's entirely possible (and understandable) that I don't always get the best of what a place has to offer. That said, this was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I was happy to see a place offer NY style pizza by the slice; you don't find that a lot in Charleston. Well, you won't find it here either. It was, generously, a home cook's first attempt at making pizza. There's something fundamentally off with the dough recipe, such that even a wood fired oven can't save it. The slices were overloaded with cheese. It was like eating wet cardboard. The meatballs were pretty good! The bartender was super pleasant and the space is attractive and welcoming. But they cannot make pizza. Normally I'm loathe to air out my business on Yelp like this; I prefer to communicate with the server if there's a problem with my food. But this wasn't an execution issue that could be fixed. A do-over would've produced the same result. Maybe, MAYBE they crush it with the neopolitan specialty pies. But I'll never know.
