    Pepperoni Pizza Slice

Grabbed bennys the other night after going to shem creek and it was so easy. We just walked over because it's so close. They were about to close but were really nice and put more slices in for our big crowd. We all got pepperoni and it was a hit. This late night pizza is so yummy post drinks. Always, always get a side of ranch! Their crust is by far my favorite part but will eat it all. We sat outside on the bench and just chatted for a bit and it was nice. They also had drinks in their fridges so some of us got water while some got soda, they also serve beer but we didn't need anymore of that hahah! Thank you bennys for a late night snack!

I have often passed this pizza shop and have wanted to try it as we love NY style pizza. We finally were able to last night and it was fantastic! We ordered ahead online for pickup and it was extremely easy to do so. Their website is easy to navigate and so is their online ordering feature. We went with a 28" pizza that had us laughing with a car full of people it was hard to get the box in! The pizza was eight HUGE slices and was enough to feed six people (four adults and two children) with two slices left over. It was delicious! The pizza is thin and having lived in New York for several years it was exactly what we remember during our time there. We went with the half cheese/half pepperoni and both were flavorful and filling. If you are wanting to feed a crowd and looking for an easy and fun meal show up with a Benny's pizza box. My kids were shocked at the size and we truly enjoyed our pizza!

I was pleasantly surprised by this enormous pizza. First of all I have never seen such a big pizza pie! When my son came out with it I was amazed with how he was holding it. Then we had to figure out how to get it in the vehicle. We literally had to significantly tilt it to get it inside. Huge! We got it home and thoroughly enjoyed this pizza. It was tasty. Everyone really liked it. Typically there is someone in the group that isn't happy, but not tonight. It was very very good. I suggest you give it a try.

Came here for a slice of pizza since it was close to my hotel and the girl who greeted me did not say hello so should I even say greeted? Didn't seem like she wanted to be there. The slice of pizza itself was ok. It was huge and can be shared.

Holy moly. This pizza was HUGE! I have legit never had a pizza slice this big. Our Uber driver picked us up and we all wanted that greasy 4th meal after drinking a lot. We've all been there...right? He pulled into Benny's. It was about 30 minutes before close but they whipped our pizza up in about 20 minutes. The flavor was great. I love the sauce. It wasn't too sweet but had a nice sweet flavor. It was expensive for pizza but totally worth it. If you're craving pizza, this is the place to go!

My friend and I joked last night that it was probably our first time eating at Benny Palmetto's sober, as it usually occurs after a night of drinking since the place is open and serving hot pizza until 2:00 am. Seems like others have gotten the memo, as well. We arrived around 12:30 am, and were definitely sober, though, even then, the pizza served us well. As others have obviously mentioned, the slices are huge (see my pic with my hand near a slice for comparison). We opted for a classic pepperoni slice while I ordered something on special: spinach, ricotta, and garlic. Each slice is from about $4.00 - $5.50. We used our plastic utensils to slice our pizza slices halfway down the middle so we could each share a different taste. Good stuff. Paid $1.50 for a side of garlic sauce (similar to, but not as good as, Papa John's), marinara sauce, and ranch. There's many drink options in a refrigerator so you're bound to find something you like, whether you drink soda or sparkling water etc. I certainly recommend this place if you're ever looking for a bite especially after 11:00 out in Mt. Pleasant. I'm not sure that I would personally come and sit down to eat here during the day, but others have mentioned its a good choice for that. Overall, I say Benny Palmetto's is A-OK, and I'm certainly glad they came to Coleman Blvd.

It was a big slice but it was not cheesy. Bit into it and instantly reminded me of dehydrated cheese crisps.

I little piece of NY in the Lowcountry. Having lived in NYC with slice places virtually EVERYWHERE- this is a welcome spot for my family. Perfect for getting a large slice to go over to Shem Creek park picnic and walk. One slice is large enough to satisfy. Good drink selection as well. Our take out is usually fast, friendly, and delicious. Pro tip- I get my slice cut in half- but my NYC husband likes it whole to fold while eating.

Considering how tricky parking can be in this area, I knew we were off to a great start!  The meal certainly did not disappoint. We ordered the "Diver Scallops" and the "Grilled Swordfish," both of which were absolutely delicious. I opted for the 8 oz portion, and while the 4 oz might have sufficed, the larger serving truly hit the spot.  To complement the stunning creekside views, where boaters casually drifted by, we indulged in a cheesecake for dessert. It was the perfect finish to an already incredible dining experience.  I'm already looking forward to returning soon!

We sat inside late afternoon and loved the atmosphere. We started with the Pineapple Martini and the T&T Martini (olive oil washed vodka, vermouth & blue cheese stuffed olives). Both were completely different but equally delicious! For dinner, my sister had the Brisket Mac & Cheese and I ordered the Shrimp & Grits. Both dishes were absolutely awesome. Everything was so flavorful that no extra salt or pepper was needed. The shrimp & grits had the perfect spicy kick -- seriously delicious. We skipped dessert, but the highlight afterward was spotting a dolphin swimming through the channel. Such a perfect ending to a really enjoyable meal. Definitely recommend! Shout out to the ladies at Trader Joe's for the recommendation.

There was no sauce just cheese, sausage, onion, and perfectly cooked brick oven pizza. The staff were super friendly and didn't make us feel rushed to get in and out. I only noted a small parking area off a very busy street (at least mid-day on Memorial Day) that makes parking challenging. They do have several fans keepin it breezy on the patio, so I opted for that. Turns out I arrived at the "in-between" time (around 3:30): they only serve pizza between 3-4. I wasn't in the mood for pizza, so my server, Sarah, said she'd be back at 4 to take my order. Whelp! 4pm came and went and around 4:06 I asked a hostess to flag her. She appeared and went past my table right over to a couple she knew to spend a minute with them. When she came over to the table there was no, "Hey I'm sorry I was late getting back." Just, "Is it 4 o'clock yet?" Oops it's 4:09!" It wasn't that she was a few minutes late; it was that she went to say hello to friends before she came over to take my order and when she got there, she was very snarky. Guess customer service isn't everyone's thing. The Rigatoni with sausage and fennel ragu came out soon and it was tasty- I thought maybe it would have too much fennel, but not so. Sarah checked on all of the tables around me, but didn't so much as glance my way for about 40 min. The food was fine, but there are too many other options to put up with this kind of service. I won't be back.

Their thin crust pizza is honestly some of the better pizza we've had in the area. The crust has a great texture, the pies are balanced well, and overall the flavors are consistently good. That said... I have one recurring frustration that keeps happening every single time we order. We always add fresh garlic, and every single time, you can't taste it at all. And let's be honest -- real fresh garlic, if it's actually fresh and used generously, should absolutely announce itself on a pizza. It should hit with conviction. Either it's barely being added, forgotten entirely, or it's the bland jarred stuff pretending to be fresh garlic. It's frustrating because the pizza itself is genuinely good, and this feels like such an easy fix that would take the pies to another level. We'll definitely keep coming back because good pizza in Charleston is rare, but please... let the garlic show up to the party.

We were told they were "behind," which must mean the tables were tired and needed a break, because there were plenty of them just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. It's always impressive when a restaurant manages to create a wait without actually being busy. If the goal was to make customers question reality, mission accomplished. Otherwise, it just felt like poor management and a front-of-house system that's completely out of sync. Waiting when a place is packed makes sense -- waiting when you can count the empty tables on both hands (and then some) just comes off as poorly run. Hopefully they figure it out... or at least put the empty tables back into active duty. Food is below average anyway so I won't be returning. And restaurants wonder why they go out of business and blame the economy. It's not the economy most of the time it's that they just don't know what they're doing.
