Here's what we've ordered: - bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything croissant 4/5 - sausage, egg and cheese on an egg bagel 5/5 - cookies (the guy gave us the wrong ones even though we pointed it out to him.... it was still good) 4/5 - iced coffee (self serve, milk is in the mini fridge) 3/5 What I've ordered through Doordash/UberEats: - Cubano 5/5 - Egg Salad 3/5 - Macaroni salad 3/5 - Pasta with spinach, feta, and tomatoes 4/5 - Chicken empanada 3/5 - Chicken bacon ranch 4/5 I started to order from Sabeli's during the pandemic through DoorDash and UberEats and haven't walked into the deli until the beginning of this week. I was surprised to see how small it is. The staff is friendly for 6AM and just opening (they were really nice). Their lunch sandwiches are amazing, huge portions, delicious. I found that their chicken bacon ranch is on the saltier side. If you're into salt, go for it! It's pretty good. The breakfast sandwiches were good as well. However, they ran out of the regular croissant so we ended up with an everything croissant. As for their egg salad, macaroni salad, and pasta salad.. They had a bit too much sauce (mayo) for me so I couldn't enjoy the flavors of everything else. If you love mayo, I recommend it. I prefer to taste the seasonings. Their cookies were delicious. The guy didn't give us what we wanted but it was 5AM. Don't judge us! I know you've wanted cookies in the morning before! I really enjoyed these cookies with my iced coffee. The reason why I give the iced coffee a 3 out of 5 rating is because it wasn't strong at all. I liked that it was a self serve station for the coffee. The milk and cream are in the mini fridge. If you don't like or want coffee, they have other beverage options as well. The deli was very clean and I'd be concerned if it wasn't at 6AM when they opened! They do not have indoor seating but come hungry, leave happy.

I ordered DoorDash from this place for the first time because it's close to my new job . I got two sandwhich and one being an egg sandwhich , I opened it up and there it was just 3-5 LONG BLACK HAIRS . I was disgusted and took a picture and threw it out immediately . One tiny hair can happen but for this to be this much was just insane to me . Their response was that they can't do anything about it and that the guy who made it was bald? Clearly not considering look at this . Disgusting do not go here I'm actually in such awe as to how someone wrapped this up and gave it to a person to consume . Especially being your paying 26$ to DoorDash it . Such a joke

I ordered two bagels with salmon, cream cheese and onions. One bagel with gluten free which they said would be smaller was tiny. As you can see by the picture there is no salmon or maybe tiny pieces of it, yet they charged $6.99 for it. I am from the city and you just can't do that, you should be embarrassed. If I was not in a rush I would have come back and complained for a full refund or at least to get the salmon I paid for. So I paid an extra $13.98 for salmon which should have been slices, not diced tiny pieces. It's a nice looking store, but won't be back if that's they way they do business.

I asked for them NOT to chop my salad. Got back to my office and it IS chopped!! Tastes good but I like to chew my salad, not have it pre chewed. Went back!!! Tried again!! Hot just what I wanted!!

Over priced bagels no fixed prices. My friend got a toasted Bacon Egg and cheese bagel and paid $5changed and I purchased a everything bagel with bacon and cheese no eggs and charged $8.00.unreal! Bacon was also microwaved and rubbery not fresh

I work in the area and saw a new deli opened up so gave the a try for lunch. My wife and I both created our own Lunch sandwiches. She went for a traditional Turkey Sandwich and I went for a Chicken Cutlet Hero. The portions were huge for the price ($12-13 each). I feel like they put in enough Turkey that would have been $7-8 at the supermarket. Overall the taste was good, only complaint was that the Cutlet did not have a lot of flavor on it, almost like it wasn't seasoned. However, I would try this place for lunch again.

I ordered a chicken cutlet and grilled chicken on a roll. Grilled chicken was too dry couldn't even chew It. The cutlet was burned and dry.

Breakfast items like bagels and waffles are amazing. The cream cheese isn't excessive like most other bagel spots in NY. Lunch sandwiches are great too, but I'm not a fan of the soups. Matzo ball soup lacked flavor, and broccoli cream soup lacked cream.

Extremely overpriced and the prices are not shown. Expect to pay close to $6 for a bagel with cream cheese and nearly $40 for a dozen bagels

I haven't tried other flavors besides the normal cream cheese but I will update this review if I do. The sandwiches and bagels were amazing, I usually come in around 5 and even then the bagels were delicious. They give you a decent amount of cream cheese too. I especially enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak Hero but they tend to put more veggies than they do meat. I had no issues with the Meatball Parmigiana Hero though. I liked how the Deluxe Cheeseburger with Fries came with the veggies on the side so you can put whatever you like yourself. They gave me a generous amount of fries too, and the coleslaw was good. The actual burger itself also impressed me, the cheese was completely melted into the patty and tasted like cc car heaven. With the pictures, I took them at a different place so the interior design/lighting at Village Bagels will look different. Side note: I suggest bringing cash as there is an upcharge for paying with credit.

I'm thinking a thin. shiny, crackly crust bagel spotted with those perfectly boiled microblisters and bubbles that add that tasty and unique NY bagel crunch and surface area. Not a dense and chewy bagel but a smooth, tender and easy biting experience. There can only be one place in NY for this perfection - Il Capo di tutti I capi - the Boss of all Bosses; I'm writing about Bagel Boss. The original location that is open 24 hours and has been doing this for over 120 years. I did get a toasted everything bagel with butter ( $3.53) and it was outstanding. The coffee was hot and fresh and the employees making the egg sandwiches tonight were having fun as we somehow got into a conversation about Mike Myers's character Fat Bastard in the movie " Austin Powers". Great proactive and respectful crew here. Love them! Bagel Boss Hicksville has so much more - a whole section of delicious sweets and goodies - black and white cookies, rainbow cookies, black and white muffins every type of muffin imaginable, halvah bars, raspberry twists.......! What makes his location also very unique is the quality and versatility of their salads that they prepare. Their seafood salad is out of this world. The salmon is crazy delicious. ( video posted from November 2021). They just remodeled and created a beautiful, big, easily accessible open space by the busy counters. The dining area is warm and cosy. There is also seating outside. The restrooms ( separate for men and women) are immaculate and well stocked with HOT water. I love the old school water pouring metal jug by the hand wash sink in the dining room area. Most definitely the Boss of all Bagel Bosses!
