Honestly, best Peruvian food I've had in a while. Everything was so fresh and seasoned perfectly. You can get a family meal even if you're dining in which is nice. Great place to come check out Peruvian food. It is located on a busy street with other types of stuff around . The food was delicious and the flavors were awesome! The chaufa lomo saltado will literally feed 2 people. The ceviche was also really good, a tad bit spicy . Order from here for delivery at a specific time. It came one time and we ordered 2 of the roasted chicken with 2 sides of white rice, 1 side of French fries, and 1 side of salad with house dressing on the side. I also added one of each dessert - the flan , chocolate cake, and tres leches. The tres leches was everyone's favorite. I also ordered a side of yucca frita, but fried foods always get a little soggy when they are in containers and it's amazing when you're fresh at the restaurant. Be aware, due to street parking only, we had to drive around the block 2x on a Friday evening. This is such a cute, unpretentious place. They have TVs and projectors that play music videos. Our food were served in 10 minutes. Our ordered came with fried corn on the side. The seafood pieces in the jalea were perfectly fried to crispy edges and juiciness. This unpretentious restaurant is well worth the eat! The food was really good, I had Surf & Turf with Rice and Tostones (Fried Plantains), my spouse had Rice with Chorizo and Vegetables with Maduros (Fried Sweet Plantains) it was the absolute perfect meal served hot, not Luke Warm but straight from the kitchen. Here is a flavorful and fairly priced restaurant. Every bit of our meal was scrumptiously satisfying. The food is cooked fresh and fast, and you can see the chef working the kitchen through the glass panels around it. First up we had a truly generous portion of ceviche. I'm a fan of the ceviche at Rumba Cubana downtown, but this one blows that one out of the water. There was a perfect balance of fish and other fresh ingredients like red onion and sweet potato. You must get this. Next up we're the papas a la huancaína; lightly boiled potatoes in a delightfully creamy sauce. It may look cheesy but in fact it is a fresh-tasting sauce w just a hint of heat. The chaufa vegana approaches a standard veggie fried rice, Chinese-American style. However, the tofu had a different consistency. Somehow it was spongier. We really like it! The restaurant has nice soft lighting and big windows. The only drawback is that everywhere your eyes land on there is a screen. Two projectors played back to back music videos, and on the opposite wall you have two tv's playing the same thing. It would be a lot nicer without all the screens! But that's ok. It's always a treat to visit Peruvian restaurants with my parents, who are from Lima, because what I think is good doesn't always match up with their tastes. I'm this case, it did. The ceviche arrived in a generous portion, and the jalea contained abundant seafood that was almost too good to stop eating. The papa a la huancayina was flavorful without being overly creamy like other establishments make it.The chicha morada was, of course, a kid favorite (although I added a little water to dilute the sweetness), as was the salchipapas (whose name never ceases to amuse me). Next time I'll have to try the pollo a la brasa, which is the true measure of any Andean eatery! read more

I was expecting good Peruvian food and my expectations were met and more! I have ordered pick-up here and dined in with a party of 5 and both experiences were good. I love the garlic shrimp for an entrée and was very surprised at how light and delicious the calamari appetizer was. The seafood paella had a ton of seafood in it and was a huge portion. I ordered catering for a staff lunch. The person I spoke with was very nice. The food was ready on time. A couple of the employees even walked the trays out to my car for me. The location is really cute. It might be difficult to get parking in this area. We ordered trays of the Fuente de Jalea, Fuente chaufa de Carne, house salad, and maduros. The Fuente de Jalea which is a mix of fried seafood was great and a lot came in the medium tray. I was surprised they had soft shell crab in it. The Fuente Chanda de Carne was also good. I would have preferred if the Maduros were sweeter. The salsa verde was very good. Also there was this mix of what seemed like pickled onions that was perfect to accompany the dishes we had. Mientras espero llega una pareja les tomo como 8-10 min a ver que habia gente esperando ya a todo esto estan las 9:15 y ellos cierran segun a las 9:30 pero si les trajo el menu y todo. Llego a la casa cuando abro este es el poquito de chicharron de pescado nunca me han dado estos 7 pedasos de pescado para ese precio . Ahora que tome foto de el recibo veo que hasta me cobro $.60 por tarjeta cuando yo le pague effectivo. No les recomiendo este lugar . First time and ordered el especial del día, chicken soup with rice and fried fish. my friend ordered the rice and chicken option. we both agreed that the food needed some more seasoning but once we ordered hot sauce (rocoto), it was more enjoyable. More Han half an hour of waiting the waitress comes with lomo saltado and not the way we ordered it. We asked for ceviche three times and she kept bringing lomo saltado.
