We had an amazing experience. Our server was friendly and helpful. She checked on our desired spice level to make sure we were good. I appreciated that a lot cuz I am a wuss with spice! Great quality of food and super tasty.

My review today is for the Lunch Buffet which my daughter and I enjoyed. (My grandchildren ordered their favorites off the menu.) Familiar with the food via takeout, we wanted to check out the lunch buffet which is offered from 11:30-3:00. Turns out, it was better than expected. We often like buffets when available because we can sample/enjoy a variety of dishes by trying a small amount. Go back if more is wanted. We were pleased with the selections available including Chimichangas, Beef Tortillas, chicken or beef with peppers and onions etc. When the bill came, I was surprised to see that the cost of the buffet is only $10.99. It is a good value for the food served which included lots of chicken and tender beef. There were also rice and beans on the buffet as expected. The buffet included a great VARIETY of typical Mexican toppings to customize your taco or tortilla or BOWL. Taco bowls were available on the buffet to make your own. I ordered flour tortillas for myself which only cost $1.50. The only dish we did not like was the Pork with Green Chile. I thought the Chile sauce tasted bitter and the pork was a little fatty. We ordered the guacamole app because we think it is delicious! It never disappoints. Salsa and warm chips were delivered to the table when we sat down. We sat at a large table in the center dining area near the patio. We had our choice of where to sit. A door to the patio was open and a wonderful breeze made our lunch even more pleasant. Service was outstanding -- attentive, efficient, and friendly. I left a 25% tip. There is ample parking plus several handicapped parking spaces near the entrance. We each enjoyed our lunches. We will return for lunch as well as continue to order take out.

For consistently good food and customer service I highly recommend this restaurant. Sabor Azteca is our go to anytime we are craving Mexican food. Last night my husband and I had a delightful meal with a sweet and very attentive server. It's definitely a great place to go for dinner if you are trying to beat the upstate winter blues. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by the friendly staff with music and a jovial atmosphere. Their complimentary chips and salsa are served almost immediately and so good. If you like spicy food I highly recommend their house made hot sauce. Enjoy!!!

Man this restaurant is delicious. From their drinks to their genuine Mexican food. The shrimp burrito is so good. The cheese sauce that they top the burritos with is so good. I guarantee you guys will love this place. Ask for Alexa, she was a stand out waitress. Refilling drinks and super attentive. This location was formally Ruby Tuesday, you can still see the same seating locations. They decorated it with their Mexican flair. This is a restaurant I will be frequenting quite often.

While my wife ordered a Saratoga Sparkling water ($4.99), I chose a can of Guinness ($6.75) after hearing the brief listing of drafts available. We also placed an order for the Italian Long Hot Peppers ($13.99) before we even thought about what we might choose for entrées. These peppers, stuffed with ricotta, sausage, red pepper, Romano and gorgonzola cheese, are finished with toasted Italian breadcrumbs and a balsamic glaze. They are so memorable that even though our last visit was 2 1/2 years ago we have no problem remembering to order them every time we dine here. Yes, they were as delicious as ever. My wife had a rare craving for steak and chose the 6 oz. Filet Marsala ($25.99) with angel hair and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly to the requested medium-rare, it was tender, and very flavorful. The marsala sauce was also very tasty. My choice from the evening's special menu was the Shrimp Riggies ($24.99). The rigatoni was cooked perfectly as were the bay shrimp. A lightly cheesed sauce adhered nicely to the bell peppers, hot peppers, onions, shrimp, and pasta, adding additional flavor. I probably didn't need to accept the additional parmesan cheese on top when it was offered by our server. It's comforting to know we have such dependably good Italian food so close to home.

Another friend, Pam, had highly recommended Emma Jayne's Restaurant which is only a couple of traffic lights from Trader Joe's - a perfect location for our trip. The restaurant sits just north of Fred the Butcher (next door, literally) for those who frequent that establishment, on Route 9. There is off-street parking. When we arrived at 12:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, the front parking spaces were full. (Note: there may be parking around back; I didn't check) We thought we might have to wait for a table. Wrong! The restaurant is surprisingly spacious with two large rooms furnished with tables that were thoughtful spaced apart. A photo of an adorable young girl, whom we assumed was the dining establishment's namesake, was on the wall. Let me be sure to mention that the ladies room, which smelled faintly of bleach, was spotless. I mean REALLY clean! About the food ... my friend and I shared an appetizer of Fried Calamari. It was an ample portion (took some home) accompanied by sweet chili sauce - a nice change from typical marinara served at other places. However, the calamari was small and overcooked. As a result, what was presented was a plate of small, overly crisp rings of 90% batter. No squid! For our entrees, Barb chose the Chicken Salad Sandwich. She requested that it be served on a pretzel bun (touted as homemade) for which we were hit with an up-charge of $3.50. The chicken salad had grapes and walnuts in it and Barb liked it very much. The up-charged pretzel roll did not appear to be homemade. Very disappointing. Had she known it would be uninspiring, she would have accepted the brioche roll. Macaroni salad - not very exciting - accompanied the sandwich along with a pickle. I love seafood and was torn between ordering the Fish and Chips (halibut) and Lobster Pot Pie (an appetizer). Our server, Drew, gets a gold star for suggesting the second one when I told him I wasn't a big eater. Apparently, the halibut, while highly recommended, is a sizable portion. The pot pie was superb! The rich, creamy sauce was divine. I couldn't eat it all and will enjoy the rest of it for lunch today. Emma Jayne's menu has something for everyone. Our server, Drew, was informative and attentive. While we may make other food choices (skip the calamari and pretzel bun but keep the pot pie), we will definitely return.

"Taco Tuesday" "prime Rib night" Cons: Menu said the entrees came with bread service, but no bread was received. I was looking forward to the bread, but felt uncomfortable outright asking because the server was being so kind and trying their best. Staffing: It was not too busy, as there were around 5 tables seated and 6 people at the bar. Service speed was slow, but there was good reason for this as they're down one staff member. It was unclear if the kitchen was cranking out room service orders for the Hilton as well since I went on the day of the Belmont. Ambiance: There is a lovely photo-op wall with a neon sign and disco like backdrop! Each table has flowers and a candle and the tables are sturdy. Taste: Enjoyed the food that I ordered and felt the portions were appropriate and well portioned for the pricing. My server, Bruno, he assisted me with a new menu item that they just placed on the menu, the Lemon Chicken. It was tart and the chicken skin was crisp. I really like The Flats in Clifton Park. I've been here several times for dinner and lunch, along with their Christmas breakfast and Mother's Day buffet brunches. Their buffets are excellent. They're around $50 per adult and about $20 for kids, and in my opinion they're worth it if you enjoy a good brunch buffet. Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. There were so many desserts I couldn't possibly name them all, but some included chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse pie, Oreo mousse pie, mini cheesecake cupcakes, and plenty of other goodies. I will say the chocolate mousse pie tasted good but was a little gritty in texture. I love me some chocolate mousse pie ordinarily but today I actually preferred the Oreo mousse pie. That being said everything is all you can eat, and it's all very good. It was extremely busy today, which was expected, but service was still excellent. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars
