Place is very clean and the hot food looks delicious! I got a chimi (Dominican Burger) so I waited for the food. I really was torn between choosing hot food and their menu has a lot of great options like Yaroa, Mofongo, mangu (Tres Golpes) breakfast, sandwiches, soups and they also can cook a fresh order for you like churrasco etc! I feel like the food could be so much better, and at times, it is. I would love if this place was more consistent. I had a stew goat it was so chewy and had a weird taste. The plantains are so good. I did the rice with the beans in it. It was meh! They also serve beer. There is adequate seating, and their bathrooms are clean and nice. It's in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking. The service lacks professionalism, I get it's a mom & pop shop, but it's irritating and crazy. I was waiting to pay for my food. I dealt with 3 different people trying to ring me up. They kept getting sidetracked, helping other customers. Mid me paying and asking for my beverages. It took me way too long just to pay. Small restaurant with a big taste, located In meadow woods. For the most part the location is quite but busy with to go orders. I went with my brother and they had a bogo 1/2 on a sandwich called Rikitaki. Minced and we'll seasoned beef, tomato, red onion, boiled egg and of course Mayo-ketchup. This sandwich got the spot. I would not recommend this place because I asked this girl a question and she made a face like she had smell . She didn't open he mouth to respond! Fist and last time I would come here. My family and I were looking for a place to eat lunch and we found this place in google close by and the place looked fine. This is truly a mediocre Dominican restaurant. I am not entirely a fan of anything they sell. I've ordered their chicken chimi.....Who makes chicken chimis with their Rotisserie chicken? It was not appetizing at all. My brother ordered their sancocho, he also wasn't a fan. He claimed it was too liquidy, and not thick enough for it to be sancocho. I have had their bbq chicken, which is what they usually have on the service line, and it's too dry/overcooked. The ONLY thing I can say that is worth coming here for is their Mangu/tres golpe. They definitely have not disappointed with this. They have the red onions on top, along with a fried egg and cheese, and salami. Yeah, this is definitely a morning dish I come to get. Their morir soñando is also very good. They measure everything that goes into it so one of the ingredients isn't overpowering. Overall, it is just an "Okay" spot. Holy smokes this place is good! For real though!! We ordered the mofongo, sancocho, and the pernil. I've been looking for different mofongo spots but so far, this hole in the wall is the best I've had. It has surprising crispies in the mofongo that caught me off guard at first but tastes sooo good! A different twist for sure. I'm glad we stumbled upon it. My little Asian tummy was full and happy when I left. Oh, and the staff treats you like family when you walk in! Wow. The sancocho is a good portion, and delicious, it's So tasty has a combination of beef, chicken, ham. Their yellow rice with bacon and pernil are also very flavorful. I'd definitely return Update: returned the following day for some sancocho (again), and its still impressively flavorful, the large size is a generous portion and meaty. I Have no idea if the lady in the front was having a bad day. I try to give the benefit of the doubt. But the entire encounter was horrible! She rolled her eyes multiple times. When I asked a question she answered it like she just didn't want to serve us and it was a bother. I was embarrassed to even be there and I'm Hispanic, a place where I should feel safe. So I had several hours to kill before my flight. I googled for Latin cuisine and ended up here. It is in a strip center anchored by Publix. Menus and most employees not in/don't speak English.
