Good food, and great service. There's something different every day. Love this place.

Lunch special Stewed chicken with yellow rice. Mango and passionfruit drink

Amazing dominican food. Came around lunch time after reading some reviews and opted for the lunch special as it was my first time trying Dominican food. It's a very casual laid back spot and the lunch special is served on a buffet line where you can choose from your entree and sides. 1 opted for the stewed chicken with rice and side salad. The portions were plentiful and everything was beyond flavorful. Staff were super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in and thanked me for visiting. Can't wait to go back and try some other menu items

We enjoyed our lunch here, we got the pastelitos de res, tilapia frita, and pechuga rellena as well as the mango juice. The service was kind and answered our questions. My favorite thing we ordered was the pastelitos they were delicious! As for the tilapia it was pretty good but did not blow our socks off, and I liked the chicken but the cream sauce was a little heavy and rich for me, overpowering the dish. Overall though we left feeling satisfied and would come again.

While driving through town, we NEEDED some type of Spanish food. And this gave EXACTLY what we needed. Both plates were extremely flavorful and portions are HUGE! They do also have a hot bar to pick from as well. Not a typical "restaurant vibe", but big enough to enjoy your food peacefully. We'd definitely be back should we come back to this side of town.

My favoriteeeeee food place! Authentic Dominican food! It reminds me of being back home in NY! I highly recommend if you enjoy Spanish food to come here & have lunch! Amazing! Every single time! They have a buffet hot & ready for you everyday. However, i sit down & get something from their menu. Service is always great & they're friendly. It is a mom & pop place so it gives you a home feel almost like somewhere in the Dominican Republic. I LOVE their food each & every time i go. Spanish ambiance & vibe for sure. 100% recommend! I do wish they would bring back their tres leche cake!! It was absolutely amazing!!! I would get a few slices everytime! I didn't take a photo of my snapper fish but i do get that with garlic sauce & sometimes plain .. 10/10!!!

One thing about Buford hwy.... You want authentic food...Buford's Got It! This place SCREAMS AUTHENTIC! It's not so much the atmosphere...it's the customer service!! Match that will flavorful, savory food...they are a winner in my book! You get to see the food! Buffet style...yet closed to the public. You choose..they serve. I love that! All the meat looks delicious as hell! It's hard to choose. I went with the chicken served with rice@ peas & a salad. My man decided on the ribs. We shared. Both dishes were delicious. For our drinks we ordered passion fruit juice. Best of all...the prices! Very reasonable ya'll. You want authentic Dominican food...COME HERE! You'll thank me later.

I've come twice already with my family and really love it. It can get busy so service can be a little slow but nothing bad. We get the medium size plate of picada I think that's what it's called and it's the perfect amount for my husband my 5 year old and me. Definitely recommend this place. Authentic Dominican food.

I married a 100% Dominican woman from the island that lived in Washington Heights after she left DR. This place has great food. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Some left a bad review because they said they ordered a quesadilla and fries that were OK. If you come to a Dominican restaurant and order a quesadilla and fries I'm sorry you are an idiot and know nothing about the culture or what to eat. So the ambiance. Is it a 5 star restaurant? No. Stop complaining about what they have to wipe your hands in the bathroom. If you are looking for a fine dining experience then go to Midtown. It's small, the music is LOUD at night and it gets crowded. If you don't like that vibe then go somewhere else. I've been to eat during the day when it's pretty empty and at night when it's packed. Service has always been good with longer waits if you go when there is a concert or an event at night. The food....very good. The only Dominican food I've had that is better has been food my wife cooked, my mother in law cooked or food in the Heights in New York. Definitely the most authentic Dominican spot here in Atlanta. The picadera is SO GOOD. Their beans taste just as good as what I get at home. My wife loves the Mondongo which is hard to make. Rabo is good so are the bistecs, the chuletas and the chicken I've eaten. I haven't tried the Mangu but my wife says it's good and she makes it AMAZING. I've said this before on reviews and will say it again. You have people expecting to get food like DR. Sorry people but we aren't in DR. We aren't in Washington Heights. I'd love to have it that good here but it's not going to happen. It's still doesn't make it bad. The food here is consistently good and I go often with my wife. Get the Picadera Dominicana. Best thing there.

I arrived right at opening so of course I was able to get a seat at a table. The cashier was extremely friendly, very nice, and offered to help or get me anything that I needed to accommodate me during my meal. Because I arrived early, I had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get my food. I ordered the fried pork belly with sweet plantain and a side of the roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious! It was extremely hot, very tender, very juicy with a ton of flavor. I'd actually go by just to get a side of chicken to eat in the car. Lol. The sweet plantain were pretty much what you would expect, but they were sweet, well cooked, and delicious. No faults on the sweet plantain. Then it comes to the fried pork belly. While I think it has a ton of potential, unfortunately, it was fried extremely extremely hard to the point we're not only was the meat dry, but it was fried so hard even the fat part I had cooked so much that it became dry. It was too a point where I had to try and soak the pieces of fried pork belly and the pan of chicken juice just to try and moisten it up or get a little bit of wetness on it to make it a little easier to eat. While I would go back, I would definitely ask for them to go much easier on the fry on the pork belly Two out of three is not bad and again the staff was extremely friendly and the chicken and plantain were delicious. So I would for sure go back and give them another try and see if maybe it was just an off day.
