We were so hungry that everything was eaten before I had a chance to take any photos. The prices are very reasonable. We also bought a sheet of sesame bread which was so good. Overall, we would come back if we are craving for Persian food. Service is fine. The deli is located inside the marketplace.

We first kind of did an overview of the whole place, checking out the bakery, the kitchen (wonderful aromas) produce, and then the canned and jarred goods. Then I worked up my courage at the kitchen and asked the guy if he could help me, because I had no idea what I was looking at, but it all looked and smelled amazing! He was so sweet and after asking, if we were vegetarians, which we weren't, he then gave us samples of two of the most popular dishes. These were both stews and had such a complexity of flavor. One is with ground walnuts, and pomegranate juice and small little meatballs, and the other was this amazing mix of herbs and greens and fava beans, which I might not normally choose, but tasted great! We ended up getting containers of those and then tried a couple different types of the rice. One had dill and other herbs in it, while the other one seemed to have lentils and maybe raisins? Once again, so good. We also got a quarter chicken and he packed them all up. It comes with this wonderful yogurt, herbed condiment. Our only mistake was not also picking up some flatbread to go with it. I picked up a chopped cucumber and tomato salad, and it's great because they have the dressing separated inside the container so it doesn't get soggy. Yes, like most places in Encino parking is going to be interesting! Their parking is directly in front of their entrance and at first it didn't look like there was anything, but then we realize there actually was. I found everybody friendly, even had some very lovely woman recommend some of the nuts and seeds to us. Speaking of which they have an enormous selection of both. I had no idea there were so many different types of sunflower seeds to name just one of the selections. In retrospect, I should've gotten some cookies! We will definitely be back, I would think it would be a great place to stock up and treat friends to an interesting set of new tastes. If you're vegetarian, they have an enormous selection as well.

This is one of the few Mitsuwa that doesn't have a food court (San Gabriel is another one without). The premade food section was surprisingly pretty good, better options than the Torrance or Santa Monica locations, imo. They do carry the same poke bowl that is also sold at Torrance. The store closes at 9:00pm, so the premade food section is pretty much cleared out and the self checkout is closed by around 8:00pm. The late hours actually got the busiest because only one staffed cash register was open and customers had to get in line instead of the self checkout. The store is clean and spacious, lots of self checkouts that are open during the day, and the bathrooms were clean (just need to get the code from a staff member!). I came three times on a weekday, once a little after lunch and another right around 5:30 and then around 8:00. Parking was a breeze every time. They have plenty of parking adjacent to the store. The other side of the shopping center gets a little busy, but Mitsuwa is at the comfortable corner closest to the train tracks. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging because Tampa is a busy street and some people try to make a left turn out (I have my opinions about that lol). If heading out towards CSUN, the shopping center also has two exits out to Nordhoff so that worked well for me. I was in the area for a few job interviews... If I am hired nearby I'm definitely coming to this Mitsuwa a lot :)

No brussel sprouts were available but plenty of other goods including enchilada sauce, string cheese, black beans, and cheddar cheese. Staff seem very friendly and helpful. I'm a huge fan of super king and I feel they have a very superior selection of produce and proteins. They are always well stocked, service is always helpful and effective. This location is new so it's very clean and beautiful. However beware that parking here can be a nightmare, that's is the main reason why it took me a while to come to this location. Their Northridge location has a full service meat and deli counter, bigger selection, bigger foot print. Overall this location is a must if you live nearby. On average I spend $60 for two people getting a bunch of produce and protein or about 3-4 bags of quality groceries. Bonus tip: a lot of items at super king are items you'd find at Whole Foods, Ralph's, Bristol farms but at super king prices. Glad to see this location took over a former 99 cent store I hope SK or other businesses take over more 99 cent stores as those lots were generally pretty big.

But honestly, we keep coming back mainly for the meat. Their parrilla is LOVE. Perfect for sharing with 3-4 people, incredibly flavorful and always satisfying. And the desserts... they're so cozy and delicious, they honestly taste like something my grandma would bake for me :) Warm, homemade and impossible to resist. Another huge plus is the pricing, very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. This place feels authentic in the best possible way. One of our absolute favorite spots whenever we're craving real Argentine food in LA.

As a welcoming…read morestarter, we were served warm, crusty French bread accompanied by their flavorful chimichurri sauce. The bread was fresh and perfectly complemented the bright, herbaceous chimichurri. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Thursday daily special, Merluza de Pappilletto, tenderly baked white fish sitting on a layered bed of potatoes and spinach, which was beautifully prepared and packed with delicate flavors and served with a lemon caper cream sauce on the side. Delicious! We also ordered the Churrasco de Lomo, grilled filet mignon steak topped with chimichurri butter. The menu specified "Two 6 oz. filet mignon steaks" so we were confused that the plate arrived with only one piece of meat. It does specify an option to get a 12 oz filet for $30 or a 6 oz for $17. Maybe that's what they meant about "two"? Who knows....Although the steak was tender & flavorful, it wasn't cooked medium rare as we requested rather it was more on the well-done side. However, the chimichurri butter that topped it added a rich and delicious finishing touch. The side dishes were equally impressive. The Arroz Azafrán, a paella-style rice, was fragrant, flavorful, and a perfect accompaniment to both entrées. The Crema de Espinaca featured creamy spinach with Parmesan that was rich, comforting, and wonderfully balanced. To finish the meal, we shared the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. It was light, creamy, and not overly sweet, with just the right amount of coffee flavor. I think there can be improvements to be made on their service. There was only one wait staff taking care of the whole restaurant so there were moments of lengthy wait times, totally not his fault. They need to hire at least one more person to help out. Also take note of the bill, they automatically add a 3% "Kitchen" gratuity which I've never seen before so you might want to take this into consideration when applying the tip. The food & presentation was great overall. Mercado Buenos Aires delivers authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a warm atmosphere that would want me to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional Argentine dining experience.
