She was able to take me last minute on Tuesday at 5pm for a gel manicure. What's great is they only charged $5 for gel extension removal. Other places charge upwards of $20+ and extra if you had the extensions done at a different salon. Maybe it's my own lack of knowledge but the removal process is usually very similar. I initially chose a sheer light pink color but they recommended something a bit more opaque if I wanted my natural nail to be covered. Highly recommend. read more

Update: Apparently certain polishes cost more because the have more staying power. I was told that the color I wanted was going to be $4 extra. I was ok with that- I mean it was the color I wanted . I could care less about how long it stayed. But as I got my manicure I was told that it would also be another $4 extra to get the same color on my hands. I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge me basically the cost of the bottle of polish to apply it to my hands and feet. So I picked a different color for my hands- fool me once.... I do like this place and will continue to go back but I won't on't be getting the long stay color again. I have been to this saline twice and had really good experience both times. Fami was a quick by diligent nail artist and did by nails very nicely as they were in pretty rough shape. She was gentle, which is important to me, and did everything I asked of her. I went for a pedicure and they let someone who was clearly in training give me the worst pedicure ever and didn't even discount. If someone is in training you shouldn't have to pay full price, and you should be allowed the option to say no. read more

I tried this salon for an acrylic tip removal and regular gel manicure. When I made the appointment the day before, I showed them the design I was hoping to do (a gradient of 5 pink colors). When I got there for my appointment, I had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. While I was waiting, they were asking me to get other services as well, even though, they weren't available to take me for the actual service I did make the appointment for. When they finally started with my tip removal, they were rough with my nails and clearly just wanted to get it done as fast as possible, so she could move on to her next customer. She got upset that I didn't tell her I want to trim my nails, which I had when I made the appointment and when I got there the day of. Guess she forget and I was supposed to remind her a third time?? I was handed off to someone else for my gel manicure. They didn't give me an opportunity to pick the 5 colors that I wanted for the gradient. They kept showing me books with colors to choose from, but also wanted me to give my hands to them to start prepping the nails- how am I supposed to flip a page and pick the colors if you have my nails soaking or picking at my cuticles? I asked the woman who took off my tips to help me pick the colors since she was just standing and she was uninterested to help. The lady who was prepping my nails constantly was asking me to pick the colors I wanted and was clearly in a rush to get me out of there. She didn't want to see the picture of what I was looking for and didn't help to pick any color either. Long story short, I came out with nails that were not the design I wanted AT ALL. While she was doing them, I told her this is not what I wanted and she didn't seem to care. I tried to give her simple solutions that wouldn't make her redo all my nails but she wouldn't listen. My nails were not properly shaped, uneven and do not look like they were done by a professional. Only a few days after getting the gel manicure, I can already see that the colors are fading and chipping at the tips. They seemed nice to be nice people, but couldn't deliver on what I wanted and thus I won't be returning. read more

They did a good job applying the actual nail polish but I could tell they're not following the hygiene standards that other salons are starting to do: they don't take their cuticle tools out of a sanitizing bag, they re-use files, and re-use buffers. Considering all this, it was not worth $11 manicure when other places pay more attention to detail and cleanliness. I would come back in a time crunch because they were nice and sat me right away but will probably stick to my regular salons for the higher level of hygiene. read more

I opened the door, my umbrella was taken from my hand and thrown on the floor and I was sent to the back for a pedicure... no hello, no real directions, just points to the back. Pedicure itself went alright but my nails were cut too short and mostly crooked. Everyone seemed so rushed instead of taking their time doing a good job or asking the customer what was wanted. I came for a pedi only and the instruments they used are not clean - I watched the lady cut my cuticles, put it down on a tray then another lady took the same room to use on her customer. I wanna know what kind of miracle techniques they're using because I've rarely had a mani last this long (I'm not particularly careful either). nothing about how my mani was done explains this. my mani was done quite quickly, and could've been tidier near the cuticles. I had to ask my manicurist to clean up minor spots during my mani a few times. they were also a bit aggressive with cuticles, and my friend and I both got cut once during our mani (enough to bleed)... my original review would've been 3 stars, but added 1 extra due to how long the mani has lasted. read more

I brought 7 people here including myself on a Wednesday night after work. I had made a reservation a week in advance for a combo of mani pedis. The owner was nice on the phone. When we got there, not everyone could be taken at one time. We had a dinner reservation afterwards and the owner noticed I seemed to be anxious about missing our reservation time so they made sure to speed things up for us. It was the quickest pedicure I've ever gotten but they did a great job. One of them got a mani and pedi so they did her mani while she was getting her toes done in the pedicure chair. It was really very nice of them to take into consideration that we had plans after our mani pedis and to therefore work quickly. The decor is nice, not very over the top or fancy. Its been over two weeks now and my nail polish hasn't chipped at all on my toes - just a regular pedicure. They do punch cards for every 9 visits or so you get 10th free! I believe they had a total of 5 or 6 pedi chairs and 6 (?) manicure seats. If I'm ever in a rush and need a quick mani pedi, I will definitely be back here. read more

They are all very friendly and they don't rush you to pick a color they will actually help you to make sure you leave happy. I rarely ever treat myself to a pedi or mani but I did today and now I think I can make this a routine. Ida was great! The pedicure was great, there was attention to detail, cuticle removed with care and a little leg massage to boot. On to the mani... I was really unsure of what color but not to worry, Ida took care of it with the right combo to give my short nails just the right look. Sadly, once my nails were dry I walked outside and took a fall in the street ruining one of my toes. I walked back in and the owner and Ida came right over and fixed it for me without making me feel bad about it. Service was great and luckily I speak Spanish so conversation was nice too. Terrible customer experience and questionable hygiene but good results for a cheap price. I came here with my 2 work friends on a Thursday night. We all made appointments in advance for regular manicures and pedicures. Decor: The place looked very cute with little chandeliers hanging and a nice turquoise wall color. The initial reaction when we arrived was very good. There is a bench in the waiting area and the salon is very big. Cleanliness: Their bathroom is very clean and smells fresh. It was a good first impression. Their pedicure chairs are not as clean as I would expect, their pedicure sinks need to be more rinsed thoroughly between customers. I see that they rinse the sinks quickly between each customer but not with a cleansing/sanitizing solution. I didn't see that they sanitize the tools between customers either, I have only seen that they wipe the tools with the towels. Service: We waited between 15-25 minutes even though we made appointments. We did not arrive late either. We even considered leaving because the wait was so long. The staff did not apologize for the delay and did not keep us posted on how long they will take. We were just aimlessly waiting, hoping that someone would take care of us soon. The owner was running around a lot, very scattered and yelling at her staff. She came across very rude and aggressive. I felt so uncomfortable at one point because she was arguing with a customer about a price. It was just not a well run nail salon. The ladies who took care of us rushed through both the manicure and pedicure. I still had soap on my foot after they wiped my foot down with a towel. It was very messy and I could tell they were just doing a half ass job. They were also very rough, I was worried that they would actually cut me at one point. Price: They charged $36 for a pedicure and manicure. It was definitely cheaper than I expected. Results: I really like the results. The pedicure and manicure turned out really nice. read more

Great manicure that lasts! I am tough on my nails as I wash and sanitize my hands frequently, so it is difficult to keep a manicure looking good. I recommend making an appointment as they always seem to be busy. I only gave it 4 stars as they could do some repairs to some of the walls and parts of the ceiling.
