I had been looking for a place to tint the windows of my red 2022 Model 3 Tesla for awhile. It was great I could get both services done at the same time. I had emailed Ryan and he was super prompt and helpful. I have a crazy schedule and he dealt with my multiple requests and schedule changes. Josh helped me pick the right level of tint and walked me through the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I picked the 3M Ceramic IR tint ($600). I had to change my pick up date and time several times. Ryan and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their lightening fast responses and call backs, were much appreciated. The results were absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to fix all my horrible scratches and dings. I made an appointment and dropped my car off. When I picked up my car a few days later it looked great. Josh showed me all the areas that the film was applied on my car. The entire hood, back bumper, door handles, mirrors and strips along the doors are all protected with the film. The rest of the car is so smooth and shiny from the clear coating. Josh made me an appointment in two weeks so they can wash and thoroughly check my car to make sure everything adheres well. I really feel good about taking my car to Elite Auto Works. Unfortunately, I soon had a small blemish, and neither the dealer, nor another detail shop wanted to assist me. Nic recommended that we do a little touch up, and then use Xpel PPF on the front end. This is a very reputable product, offered by a small network of certified shops, and it carries a 10 year warranty. At no point did Nic try to hard sell me, and his cost for the work was extremely competitive. At no additional charge, he removed the thinner PPF that had been glued on at the dealer's vendor, touched up the blemish with the proper color, did an outstanding job applying the Xpel .. and then detailed the car. I had some concern because we were in the process of resurfacing our driveway, limiting my ability to use our garage. Nic kept the car garaged for me, and was flexible, so I would not need to bring it home during a storm. He kept me informed of progress, and when I got the car back, I felt like he took fantastic care of it. If I need additional services, this is going to be my first stop. Jesse was quick to respond to my quote and questions about his process and came back with an estimate which was quite reasonable. The things you should know are: - Colour Tek is a completely mobile service, meaning that they came to our house and did all of the repairs and painting in our driveway. - I didn't fully understand how they could do this for a paint job, but he did a great job of masking off the car and working to make sure that nothing got in the paint. - Jesse showed up on time for the 9:30 appointment and was essentially done on time by around 5pm that night. He came back the following day to check on his work and buff out anything that was noted (which really wasn't much at all). - Jesse was professional, clean, friendly and very easy to deal with. I was super impressed at the job and quality of their work, and the paint job on those areas look excellent. He warranties his work so I feel very comfortable in having gone with Colour Tek to do this job. Overall, I would highly recommend their services. It's widely known that Tesla's paint application has been horrible. I was worried that this would get worse over time. After careful research, I decided on getting a ceramic coating and contacted Transparent Auto about the process. I was impressed with their knowledge and process, as well as being able to cure the ceramic to the car and wheels in the shop. I'm going to post some pictures, but the results are perfect!
