The food here isn't awful, but with so many better choices for sandwiches in the area it's hard to give it above 3 stars. Went with "The Regular" Italian sub and it was truly just alright. The bread is a bit doughy, the meat is layered in a way that it slips out of the sandwich and the provolone wasn't as sharp as I would have liked. With all that said, it was still plenty edible and fine in a pinch. The restaurant was pretty empty during lunch hour on a weekday, but they seemed to be pumping out a decent amount of catering trays. My mom & her friends love this restaurant. She gets excited telling me about the specials, so we had to give them a try. I didn't like that they use all plastic wear to dine-in. Even the soup cups were heavy duty plastic! It physically hurts me using all that plastic and then throwing it in the garbage. This practice is terrible for the environment. Please stop doing this, it is an unbelievable amount of waste for no reason. Reusable Dishes!! Sorry , but we need to start caring about this, as our planet is suffering. Staff was very nice, place was super busy for lunch. This is the same family as White House Subs, just an fyi, I love their subs. I really wanted to get a deal - so I ordered the Tuesday daily special. You get grilled ham and cheese with your choice of white/ wheat/ or rye bread. I knew this sandwich wasn't my thing, but I needed the deal...lol. They used an oil to grill the sandwich instead of butter, so it was greasy- but lacking flavor. The other ingredients were fine and seemingly fresh. The New England Clam was simple - made most likely in house with fresh cream, fresh whole clams, and onion , potatoes , salt and pepper. This place has pretty good subs. It came out pretty quickly. We got fresh bread with capicola, salami, and cheese. The sub was stuffed. The lady who handed us the order was super friendly and helpful. It was definitely worth putting on the hot peppers (located near the napkins and cutlery) in the sub if you have a chance. read more

Incredibly rude owner. Deceptive billing. They put a bill on your table that shows the wrong amt of sales tax (higher than it should be) and a "total due" that does not add up, even accounting for the higher amt of sales tax. (EIGHT lines below that, it will point out in smaller print that there is an adjustment for credit card purchases, but the "Total Due" shows the higher amount, without explaining it.) When I told the cashier it seemed too high, she offered no explanation and just said that is was correct. She said nothing about extra fee for credit card, even when I asked if I could pay that way. When I called to let them know it did not add up, the man who said he was the owner sexually harassed me, yelled at me and was extremely nasty. This is definitely a hole in the wall that's worth a try. This is my second time here over the course of 4 or so years (travel brings me to the area) and I'm just as pleased now as I was then! Placing an order for carry out was quick and my mushroom sub was ready in about 4 minutes. My order was $12.61 for a mushroom sub (10-12") and a bag of BBQ chips so I'd say it's a good value. Sub was tasty with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Mushrooms are canned so that's a downside but all-in-all, this sub hit the spot! My party of 6 stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way to Ocean City New Jersey. We strolled in on a Saturday morning around 9 AM and there was plenty of seating available. The hostess/server greeted us right away and helped us rearrange a couple of tables so the group could sit together. She was very friendly and inviting. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an "Atlantic City style" roll. Atlantic City style basically means soft and doughy. I shared the sandwich and an order of potatoes with a friend which was a good move since the sandwich was very filling. The sandwich was very good but the potatoes were only so-so. I went here for breakfast on a late Saturday morning. The menu is generally basic with the usual breakfast offerings eggs omelettes and such. I had the Greek omelette which was filled with tomatoes spinach and feta cheese. The omelette was good I'll be at the eggs weren't as fluffy as I would've hoped. I also ordered the potatoes for an additional $.50 and I was not expecting muchBut there was no seasonings or other additives to the potatoes such as onions or peppers which would've been nice. Service was a little slow but there was only one gal running the front end of the restaurant and two in the back on the grill. Overall it was a decent experience and I would not hesitate to come back here for breakfast. It sure as heck beats McDonald's Burger King or any other quickie food like Wawa. read more

Damn, We need a Sack O Subs in Philly ! My wife and I have been to 3 of the locations (Atlantic City,Ventnor and this one. (You can pretty much call us fans) This location is definitely the nicest and the most family friendly. The food is just as good as the other locations though. I am very impressed with my experience at this Sack O' Subs. I have eaten Sack O' Subs at other locations throughout my life and I have been trained to expect a high standard. This location exceeded my expectations. The location is convenient, right off of the Black Horse Pike. Plenty of parking right in front of the store. As soon as we walked in the door, the staff greeted me and my family politely. Our waitress, Judy, was so polite. She executed her job flawlessly in taking and delivering our order. The food was the star of our meal. We ordered two whipped tuna subs, and a Sack O' Special. We also had an order of curly fries. Everything was amazing. The subs were consistent with other locations. I was not pleased with my experience at Sack O' Subs in EHT. It was my first time going to that particular location. I ordered a tuna wrap with raw onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, but when I got home, I realized I had a cheese steak wrap with a lot of lettuce and tomatoes and very little meat on it. I called to make them aware of their mistake, and the guy said my tuna sub had been rung up as a cheese steak wrap instead. I asked if they could deliver my tuna wrap, but he said I would have to return to swap the cheese steak wrap for a tuna wrap. First things first the service was the best service I've ever experienced over the phone. I think I spoke to a new horse named joe. Joe took my order and was very polite to me. I asked him if he could tone down the noise in the background so he completely got everything I said. Joe was completely calm and tried his best. I know I can be a tough customer some times but the way this night ended up was perfect. Once joe and I got off the phone I thought damn he could nearly hear me and I hope he got my order correct. Two minutes pass and I think I spoke to this woman Jane as she just wanted to call and clarify the order. I have never had a place care so much for the customer like this team Sack O Subs has. After eating at this sub shop three times I think the cheese steak is the best in the area. Service was great, very friendly, and the sandwich is fresh tasting . This is now my goto sub place. So as we are trying to have a decent meal outside of cooking during our quarantine. My 6 year old daughter had a taste for Chicken Fingers from Sack O subs because she hasn't had it in a long time. I get home and she's excited a drinks the soda immediately and starts eating. Some time passes and she opens the lids and says "Ewww"! and shows us and there was black specs at the bottom of the cup. These of course can fester by not cleaning your Soda Dispenser or Ice machine. So we called to make a complaint about the soda we just received and the first response from the cashier was "You want another one" not I'm sorry, not we will clean the soda machine or any form of being empathetic but more just giving excuses of how that shouldn't have happened. With our complaint not being resolved she passed the buck to what I would hope was the manager or owner , Anthony who then proceed the sentiments from the cashier in saying the exact same response as the first "You want another soda". We were visibly upset as our 6 year old drank from the cup so you could probably tell I was furious at the nonchalant responses I was given to where the manager or owner cut the call short by giving a cocky "Have a nice day" and hung up. And the burger was smaller then before, did they switch burgers? My husband ordered a chicken parm sub.
