If I could give 0 stars, I would. Stopped just for lunch around 11:30am. They just opened at 11am. My boyfriend got a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich, which wasn't too bad. I got a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken smelled so bad & seemed like it was left over from a few days. I understand they have just opened. Usually I prefer to order somewhere else BUT my husband wanted Sack O's today - literally ordered subs at 12:15 and it is now 1:45 Pm , STILL NO SUBS !!! I called to find out where our subs are and she says he should be there in a few minutes - that was 20 min ago . Had the pleasure of stopping by just by chance and the place was open for the first day. Having been a lifetime customer of the Original location in Ventnor I was curious if the new location could stand up next to them. I ordered a cheese steak with let, tom, raw onion and hot peppers. I stopped in after work last night Thursday, October 31 for Subs for my son and I. I am a regular customer there never had any problems always had the best subs for pick up Eat in or delivery. Upon ordering the subs one of them being special I had to repeat the order a few times. When I got home and opened up the sub it was not made the way I had ordered it. I called up To report the mistake and was asked if I could come back. No I said I would like someone to deliver me the right sub. So again I repeated the order a few times and was then told that I needed to send back the other sub. OK no problem you want it back I'll send it back, poor business management. A good business manager would have said keep that sub will send out the new one and when the new one came maybe would've sent a gift certificate for maybe a free sub? Just a thought. Just so you know it was not a hard order to fill, half Italian, American cheese, tomato, extra lettuce, no onions and dry, meaning no oil no vinegar. read more

Have had Sack O Subs before but figured would give the new EHT location a try; bad idea! From the time they took my order over the phone I had a bad feeling about it as I had to repeat my order multiple times. Food was "ready" for pickup when I arrived. When I got home both sandwiches I ordered were not made correctly; and my cheese fries had no cheese. Sack O' Subs EHT is great! My family and I stopped in for lunch & we really enjoyed it! We ordered two Sack O' Specials (one to-go), two whipped tuna subs & curly fries. The food was delicious, the portions were generous & the prices were cheap! The restaurant itself is super clean & very welcoming and the service was friendly & attentive. Not only was the customer service THE ABSOLUTE BEST, The food was amazing!! I have a 9 month old and they created a side meal just for him !! !There was only one waitress working and the restaurant was packed! She literally checked on us every five minutes! Always stop here when I go to the shore area to play golf. They are so nice to their customers and the food is great. I had the Rodio salad on special on Thursdays and it was enough for 2 meals and only 7.95! The salad was grilled chicken breast made fresh with roasted peppers over a big salad. It was outstanding. We have been here for subs in the past but decided to try them for breakfast as a change of pace. I ordered the pancakes and with the first bite there was obviously something very wrong. They tasted like they were made with sour milk, I couldn't even swallow the first bite and shortly after leaving I began to get very bad stomach pains. My husband ordered curly fries a cheese steak and a chicken salad sandwich, they said it would be 15 mins till delivery, an hour later my husband is pissed the guy finally shows up, my husband's cheese steak and curly fries were cold, he calls the manager up to speak with him and right off the bat the guy was a complete asshole wouldn't even let my husband get a word in, horrible service horrible food, will not eat there again. read more

Decided to give them a try. Bad mistake. I ordered a cheesesteak with extra oil and not one drop dripped. Probably the worst sub I ever had, and I've had many. I suggest English creek subs. Excellent food and excellent service. I eat here with my son every Thursday night and the staff treat us like family. I have tried a variety of subs on the menu and have never been disappointed. This was probably the worst experience I've had here. Of course I altered the plan of getting sugar hill subs because they're lacking in quality and of course sack o's disappoints me. We ordered several sandwiches. One of which was an Italian hoagie which usually includes oil, oregano, and tomatoes but not this one, this bread was so dry you could literally choke on it. Then we ask for a chicken cheese steak with sautéed onions,mushrooms and lettuce. When ordering a hot sandwich you expect everything on it to be hot with the cheese melted. The cheese and all the toppings were cold and instead of mushrooms we received tomatoes. Unlike a normal cheesesteak there was no grease that came from the ingredients on the roll which also made my bread dry as ever. The cheesesteaks we ordered were plain and boring along with the turkey sandwich. Nothing at all like my last experiences but this will be my last experience.
