Owner Kellan is very sweet and responsive with messages! I scheduled a deep clean and wasn't 100% happy with the cleaning and she gave me a partial refund. I will say the stove, microwave, countertops and floor in the kitchen were immaculate! But I think there was some miscommunication with the rest of the areas of the house that I definitely noticed grim and dust the cleaners missed. For example the bedroom mirrors weren't touched, nor fridge really, possibly my husband's fault since he told them to just do floors. One of the ladies in the kitchen working mentioned that things would have been scrubbed and cleaned more with a deep clean, which is what was supposed to be scheduled. I didn't know what to expect since this is my first time hiring a house cleaning service, but my housework has gone downhill taking care of the kids, pets and my own children. And I wanted it to look better for guests visiting. So thanks to the sweet owner of this small business I'm leaving 4/5 stars. Would be nice if they steam cleaned carpets since I have a lot of stubborn pet stains, but the owner recommended a brand for me. SYOY! :-) read more

We moved out of our house and needed a deep cleaning to get the house ready to sell. We have a dog and he was pretty messy, and there were some areas of the house that needed some extra work. Haley, Amelia, Alyssa, and Kou were awesome! The were easy to schedule, on time, very efficient, and incredibly detailed. We will be using them for a yearly deep clean in our new house and can't recommend them strongly enough. read more

I booked a deep cleaning of my entire house, not just a basic clean, based on this company's strong Google reviews and a great initial phone conversation with the owner, Kellan. Unfortunately, the service I received fell far short of what I expected from a professional deep clean. Although the cleaners were at my home for about four hours, much of the work either was not done or was done with little attention to detail. None of the shelves or framed photos were dusted in any room. The baseboards were untouched. Neither shower was cleaned, as they still had visible soap scum. There were dusty spots on the floors, especially around the edges, and I genuinely do not believe the floors were mopped at all. To Kellan's credit, she was apologetic and reduced the invoice to $150. I appreciated her willingness to make it right, but even at the reduced price, I was left feeling disappointed. This was marketed and charged as a deep clean, but the service I received was more like a light surface cleaning. I declined a return visit because I did not feel confident in their ability to follow through. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting a true deep cleaning with attention to detail. read more

The job was not done well at all. I gave them a 2nd chance at cleaning my home and it was still incomplete. Workers were on cell phone talking while cleaning. Workers said they clean area's then I sent video to owner and they sent them back however the work was still not completed. read more

My tenants hired this company for a move-out clean and was quoted $800 for 8 hours based on the square footage. The cleaners ended up leaving after 5 hours and they did not complete the job. They just said they had to leave then had the audacity to bill them for $1000! I've been a landlord for over 35 years and have hired numerous cleaning services and I've never experienced anything like this. They didn't wipe down the kitchen counters or the outside of the refrigerator. They didn't sweep or mop the floors, or clean any baseboards or walls or doors! My next tenants will be moving in and the house is not ready. Look at the pictures of the mess this business left. read more

Finding cleaners that are reliable, trustworthy, and thorough has been a struggle until I found Sacramento 5 Star Cleaning. First, they make scheduling so easy -- they're pleasant to work with and being able to communicate via text is so helpful. They want to make it work and are flexible and open to different days and times. Secondly, I've been so impressed by their work: coming home to a sparkling shower, clean floors, and a tidy kitchen is so delightful. I've had Kou, Chrystal, Sheree, and a few others, and most recently, Breanna who was lovely and did an extra-exceptional job. Kellan, the owner, is the absolute kindest, most flexible, helpful person to schedule and communicate with. From our first call to every single text exchange, she is so sweet, professional, and willing to make appointment times and service work. Wanda and Autumn did an amazing job with cleaning my home. They were very friendly from the moment they arrived and throughout the entire cleaning. This was my first time using a cleaning service so I wasn't sure what to expect but they made sure they knew where my focus areas were and had a list of everything they would be doing which made it easy. They walked me through the list before they left to ensure everything was completed and I was happy with their work, (which I absolutely was). They were so kind when cleaning around my pets and my daughter, gave me tips on how to maintain some of the work they'd done, and handled my collectibles and entire home with care. I personally would never book this company again. Their prices are actually way more expensive than what I was thinking, but they are truly unprofessional. The cleaners that came were super sweet, but I was reassured that I would be paying for a whole house cleaning, Then the cleaner told me that I would need to add more time because they did not have enough time to clean the kitchen. My main priority was that the kitchen be clean, I also do not keep my house super untidy, so this was the surprise to me. I was super polite and later told them that the kitchen was not up to my liking, then I told them that it was fine and I will just pre-book my next cleaning for a month later. From the very start of booking an appointment, I made sure to specify that I was not available to have cleaners come Monday and Friday because I work from home, and instead, they decide to ring the doorbell on a Friday multiple times the next day, trying to clean the kitchen. I was very frustrated, it was unprofessional and uncalled. They did not give me a heads up that they are coming back to clean the kitchen and I also told them that it was OK that the kitchen was not fully cleaned. Also, it is very unprofessional that they do not answer their phone and will instead send you a text notification that they will call back. In the end, I decided not to book again with them even though the cleaners were super sweet. I would advise this company to work on their customer service, know that we are working professionals and are not always able to accommodate when you just pop up, they also booked my appointment twice and did admit that was a mistake on their end. read more
